I have been reaching out to ******************** for a few days now. I spoke with him initially on a Friday and have been trying to reach him since Monday with zero response. This is not good customer service. I requested that he cancel any prior interactions and not move forward with any future dealings concerning the loan. Again, I have texted, emailed, and called him with no response.I would like to have the refund back he charges I my card for appraisal and soft credit pull. I have never paid Loan Depot or any other lender for this. When I texted ****** regarding a refund... nothing.I'm disappointed because I have refied with loan Depot several times and brought friends in to refi also. ****** was not forthcoming in some things. I've moved on because customer service was top notch and he has not even tried to call back to discuss the issue. One text initially then ghosted me. Not to mention, their fees were loftier than ever.LoanDepot

Very disappointed, made an exploratory call with Lending Tree and they provided Loan Depot with my name and phone number. I declined to apply for a mortgage refinance. The company filled out an application and secured my credit report without my permission. I would say to anyone responding to their call, make sure when you decline their offer, that they no longer have your information. The representative *********************, said that this is their practice, despite my decline of the offer. I give 0 stars.LoanDepot

Similar experience to some others on this site. Loan Depot did a poor job of paying my property taxes in a timely manner through my escrow account. It seems like their staff could not deal with my particular situation (reassessments and new tax bills) which led to missed payments on their part. I closed my escrow account and had my remaining balance refunded. Bottom line: If you have straight forward monthly payments for mortgage, property tax, insurance, etc they are probably ok. But the moment they are stress tested with something a little more complex, they can't seem to handle it.LoanDepot

*************************** had me prepay for an Appraisal without first making sure I qualified for the "12 month Bank Statement progam". He was unclear with LoanDepot program guidelines and should have been properly trained. I had asked him on multiple occasions if we fir guideline criteria , he said yes. I lost valuable time during my home purchase process do to his incompetence. We had a very negative experience which caused tremendous stress for my wife and I as sales contract deadlines needed to be met. My 45k escrow deposit was in limbo. Luckily ******************* stepped in and facilitated the appraisal transfer to our new ***************** *** was professional and very helpful. We have nothing but praise for ******************* and his professionalism. Properly training personnel is the backbone to a successful company. LoanDepot failed in that regard with ***************************.LoanDepot
