Very good overall. Some repeated miscommunication within their departments slowed process by maybe 2 weeks. But they are candid and trustworthy. I will use them again.

They steered me to a secured refinance loan that charges 12% closing costs (nearly $9000.00)on an 81K loan AFTER I paid for the credit report and appraisal, then withheld both. Over $550 down the drain. These Banksters will discover too late that there really is an all-seeing "eye in the sky' who WILL cleanse this earth of their kind. Get a job ****LoanDepot

I applied for a loan with this company November 6. I was told I was approved but have had yet to close. I am dealing with a loan officer by the name of ***************************************. Every time I reach out to her to follow-up she pretty much tells me she does not know, shell check. Recently someone text me whose name I never knew and said the loan was declined because someone named ******* could not verify my return to work. They apologized and assured me it would be reopened. Last week I called back to follow-up again and ********* responded with yet another apology for the system being down. DO NOT let these people take advantage of your time and string you along like they have done to me!LoanDepot

I have 2 loans with them, refied. The process was easy and streamlined. The problems come with the servicing. They are horrendous. If you use auto draft or pay online make sure you have enough to cover 2 payments at all times as they have at least 2x in 3 years drafted 2 pmts instead of one, then had to refund the 2nd payment. They had to be contacted multiple times to pay tax bills. They mixed up my escrow bills and charged 1 account for all my escrow and the other had none. currently they have had a data breach and the online system has been down for a week. wait times are unreasonable. If you call too late in the day they won't want you that your call *** not be answered they will just give you a "we're closed" statement and hang up on you ( I was on hold for 2 hours when this happened), no warning. Hold times are not accurate as I had a 10 minute wait time for 50 minutes.LoanDepot

Loandepot collected ****** thru senior loan officer *********************** in Dec 2023 on dec 22nd it was decided that the loan probably would not go thru at that time moneys collected for property appraisal should have been returned after speaking to ****************** on the 2nd he informed me that it could take up to 10 business days for the return 13 days later Loan depot or ****************** will answer phone or return calls I believe at this point we've entered into fraudulent activity and seeking legal help in recouping moneys from this businessLoanDepot

Refi transaction. Everyone was knowledgeable, the interest rate was as expected for my score/the market. I did have to submit one or two forms twice I didn't realize they can not accept a pic off a PC but require an uploaded file. Everyone was professional and communicated timely. Expectations were set clearly . I would use them again.LoanDepot

Did a refi with them. Wish I didnt. I would s3nd in paperwork they needed just to have to keep sending them the same paperwork over and over. Also, was told dont worry about the interest rate being so high, the 2 people I worked with told me they would keep and eye on it and adjust it when it went down. I have called them a few times so they could adjust it, ive sent emails, no one has contacted me and it has not been adjusted. I was lied to. *** warned you, do deal with them. My next refi or sale, buy, wont be with them ever.LoanDepot

we have a mortgage with Loan Depot **************** and have since 2020. This company transferred our loan to their ***** location. This company has scammed and brought up fake charges whenever possible. I took ill and received a ***** from Wa state to cover a few months payments until i recover. Loan depot took some ***** and paid two months. then they applied remaining monies to the escrow and said it was because we owed escrow. We have never owed escrow because it is part of our mortgage payment along with the taxes every month(every statement shows escrow balance, we always have a credit going into next month) we ask them to prove otherwise, they have not. We finally reported them to CFPB and WA state and loan depot told them we requested the ***** go to escrow when we did not. Now we have a mortgage payment coming up and they refuse to apply the funds to our mortgage and instead is keeping the ***** for themselves. How is this company still allowed to have a license? they should be put out of business for fraud. Theyve also refused payments from us in order to make us default on our mortgage but then told us to quick Deed our home to them to resolve the issue. THIS IS CRAZY!! So if we had a choice of where the funds went then they should have applied ALL of it to the mortgage as we have requested in writing and over the phone SEVERAL times. The ***** ***** was to give me the needed months to recover until I can return to work. Now Loan Depot has stolen that.They told us we had to come up with the Mortgage ourselves when they already have the ***** to pay the mortgage in an escrow account, from the ******************* on our behalf. I have consulted with other mortgage lenders to get rid of loan depot and we can't afford to refinance because then our mortgage would triple. Right now we have a 2.9% VA loan rate we can't lose that now. I would like someone to investigate this company, they need to be stopped.LoanDepot
