?????a day ago New My family needed to get an FHA 203k style loan (or so I thought); after an exhaustive search, I found **** *********** splash page -- surely, this was divine providence at play!As a whole, this company did such a GREAT job for us! Their web system is simplistic to use, and very sophisticated. Moreover, the loanDepot business team worked smoothly together like a well-oiled machine! The whole experience was excellent!But it was **** ********* that really made the loan process a pleasure cruise! He's extremely adept with renovation loans unlike the other competitor companies. Likewise, **** is cordial and personable, and he made buying our first home an absolute breeze. **** went out of his way -- the whole EXTRA mile -- to make sure we got the right loan! He quickly renavigated us to **** from FHA203k! I had originally dismissed **** as an option, but **** pointed out that we DID qualify for it! In so doing, he saved us a ton of out-of-pocket money: roughly, this change saved about 20k in closing costs. And **** made sure we received the best interest rate possible, effectually beating all pre-approval offers obtained from competitor companies.Our loan at loanDepot beat *************** on every major criteria: interest rate, total monthly mortgage payment, and most of all, out-of-pocket were by FAR better at loanDepot. And this is because **** cared! He's a good guy, and he deserves this commendation.If you want somebody who will work hard to get you the best type of loan with the best rates possible, ****** contact card is easily located by searching ******: "**** ********* loanDepot".God Bless you ****! I can no logger recommend Loan Depot. I had a few years of positive experiences but more recently that all changed. While out of the country I had an increase in taxes or insurance probably both that caused my payment to change. I called Loan depot to resolve the matter and was informed that they could resolve the problem if I sent in the payment difference. Ballpark an additional $130. They did inform me the companies policy did not allow partial payments. I notified my bank to make the correct change to the monthly payment which they gladly agreed. Loan Depot continued to send out checks to my traveling mailbox even though they assured me they could resolve the problem. I informed Loan Depot that they can not send checks to a traveling mailbox. This continued for another 3-4 months, mean while I sent additional funds for the first payment that was short maybe 3 times and each time the additional funds were being used for Loan Depot's penalties and fees. I had many conversations with the Loan Depot team members and the escalation team members, each time it was going to be fixed. Fast forward I ended up making an additional monthly payment and Loan Depot applied my first short payment after the payment increase to the principle balance. I had offered this solution during my first conversation with Loan Depot back in maybe October but explained this was not my first choice, this problem continued till January 2025. Today my credit score has dropped 230points as they reported that I make 3 months of late payments. I called Loan Depot before writing this review to see if they could assistance me with this credit reporting as I was in continuous conversation with Loan Depot during this process. I was informed by the escalation team they were in complete legal compliance since they had never deposited my checks, I would not recommend Loan Depot as the company appears to be to large and has very poor real customer service. I would look for a smaller company.LoanDepot

I was working with **** *********, trying to get a loan for a purchase in ******, *** I wanted to have an initial call to understand what kind of loan I should apply for - Conventional, FHA, CHFA. I am not an expert so I had lots of questions. After asking my initial question about what benefits an *** loan would provide, he immediately became enraged and very rude. I'm not sure why he was so upset. It may have been something unrelated to the call, and he was just taking it out on a customer. But this was very unprofessional. Do not go with LoanDepot or work with ****.TLDR: Don't work with LoanDepot, particularly if your agent is **** *********LoanDepot
