Hate LoanDepot!! Strung me along for the last 3+Months to see If they would except My Application for my house to be put in Forbearance bc I can not make my payments right now due to my disability situation and the loss of my Parents. Now I need to sell my home and LoneDepot was aware of all of this and new I needed time. 3 months later they said there was more paperwork needed and missing. Now I have 2 late payments showing on my credit report that I NEVER had EVER before!! Bc of them now!! So now another month later Im finally told they DENIED the Forbearance bc I'm not 60 Days late on my mortgage im 30+!! Are you kidding!! So I need to totally destroy my credit to get help with my Mortgage!! You have got to be kidding me. Then you will turn around and tell me no are taking my home bc that's who LoneDepot is!! They prey on they Disabled and people that need help!! BEWARE OF LOANDEPOT!!

This company is actually a 0. There is no star quality at all. I wish I read some of these reviews prior to going with this company. They are rude, unprofessional, and don't have a clue. I am continuously getting letters stating I didn't have insurance for a particular time period. I spoke to ******* for 40 minutes with the insurance company on the line. After waiting on the phone for him to complete the paperwork he assured me everything was taken care of. Despite all this I'm still getting letters. It's impossible to get a manager or the phone number or address to corporate. ******* was the 2nd person I spoke to who allegedly fixed their mistake. RUN Don't WALK far away from Loan Depot.LoanDepot

1 starThis lender has poor customer. service they do deceptive practices and mislead the consumer. They hold on to your checks claims they didn't receive your payment. They force you to pay online then still submit the check they say. they didn't receive and this send your account into overdraft.Review fromClydene Z

I refinanced my current loan I had with Loan Depot in order to consolidate bills by pulling out equity. The process was going reasonably well. One week and a half before I was to sign loan docs and close I spoke to my loan processor. I had told him before that I wanted my escrow funds that I had on the current loan, refunded to me and he had said you'll get about **** dollars escrow and **** in MIP refund and that would help.me pay the bills that I couldn't get paid in the refi. He had said this before when I mentioned the re fi costs were quite high. That I would in the end be getting those funds back. The loan closed and it was about a month later that I emailed him and asked about the status of the refunds he said I would be getting. 5 days later I got no response so I emailed his boss. His boss said " oh you won't be getting thise refunded to you we had to use the money towards your costs or the loan wouldn't have gone through. " I am very upset because no one told me if I wanted the loan to go through they would have to use the almost ******* nor ask would I like to still go.ahead with the loan. Of course the loan had already gone through and as the loan officer said there's nothing we can do it's already funded. You don't just go ahead with things if the situation has changed and you have to use monies that they had said I would be getting back as late as 1 week before closing. I would have liked the choice to go ahead or not at ****** to refi *********** house even appraised for ****** more than they were figuring. And they knew that was wrong because the officers boss that I spoke to said" do you want me to talk to him about his wrong doin? And the original guy never emailed me back I.emailed the main headquarters and they said they would look into it and i have not heard anything else. I did get a revised closing disclosure about a week after i sent the email to headquarters. I'm very upset about this. They informed me verbally about everything else !LoanDepot

Loan Depot is easily the worst company to ever work with. DO NOT HAVE THEM BE YOUR LENDER!! Specifically the ********************** which is the department you have to deal with if you have an insurance claim, is filled with the most incompetent people I have ever spoken to. For months, they have held my money hostage, refusing to pay attention to any and all real payout numbers, refusing to call me back, or even listen to me explaining the entire situation. They must hire the most unintelligent people to be their employees, considering no one in that department can do basic math addition.I unfortunately had to file an insurance claim, due to a flood, and in the process, I was issued 3 checks. I sent all 3 checks to loan depot, since they needed to endorse them, and due to their lack of education, they could not verify how the money was totaled up. They were over calculating the total by $10k, which put the threshold over $40k, thus needing a supplemental adjuster to go to the property and verify that the repairs had been done. The actual total was $33k. How a company that claims to be professional, can f*** up so greatly is beyond my comprehension. Find another lender, trust me.LoanDepot

Spent the last few weeks working with Loan Depot to get a HELOC. After all the processing that had issues in itself, I signed my docs last Monday. I get an email today, the day I am supposed to fund, that the docs I signed were incorrect and I have to resign today and will not get my money for another 5 days. Seems like no over there know what they are doing. Beware of wasting your time.LoanDepot
