Excellent job in communicating back and forth. They listened to what I had to say. The process was explained to where I could understand it. Process of my loan was opened and closed faster than I expected. The notary did an excellent job in explaining each piece of paper I signed. Since I have been with loanDepot I have had excellent experience. I would highly recommend loanDepot. If their is something you don't understand about the process ask until you understand it.LoanDepot

Supervisor ***** ******** with Loandepot was inconsiderate with the issues I was having with misinformation from a Loandepot customer service representative. This company does not employ knowledgeable people. This has affected me and caused so much stress. I will be reaching out to their headquarters tomorrow. Never take a forbearance from this company during a disaster. They purposely misinform you to cause a negative impact on your credit.LoanDepot

I submitted an inquiry with a number of home mortgage brokers approximately a year ago. Loan Depot did not return my inquiry until about three months ago, at which time I no longer needed their services since I've decided not to buy a home. Since then, they have been contacting me incessantly-- at least once a day through various methods. I've told multiple of their employees when they've called that I am no longer looking to purchase and asked them to remove me from their calling list. Instead of saying "ok," they provide various scripted responses that don't even make sense (such as saying they can help me with selling or refinancing the home that I don't own). They continue to give me various scripted responses until I hang up. My last call ended in me saying "what you're doing right now is bordering on illegal and if you don't remove me from your calling list, I'm contacting the BBB," to which the associate responded, "In the mean time, we can help you with finding a good deal for your home loan." I've blocked numerous phone numbers associated with them. I've also replied STOP to numerous spam texts from them. It honestly feels like stalking at this point and is, at the very least, extremely unprofessional.LoanDepot

From the beginning to the end of the loan process I was kept informed and given the best service I could have asked for. Initially, I was impressed with the ease and speed of applying for the loan. Everything seemed to go smoothly and it appeared that I would be able to get things wrapped up before my February travels. I was diligent about getting my paperwork in and paying the application and appraisal fee. On Friday 1/24 I sent a message inquiring about how the loan was progressing and if there was any additional documentation needed. I received no response. Once I was finally able to reach *******, his response was that there are a lot of rules and regulations and he doesn't know them all. I would think that a hard stop at 10 acres should be known by everyone in this process and claiming that there are so many rules and regulations that they can't be expected to know this wouldn't be an excuse for the incompetence I encountered. At some point ******* did contact me. He was apologetic, but not sympathetic. He offered no real solutions other than the asinine suggestion that I could spend thousands of dollars to replat my land. I asked about the fees that I had paid, assuming they would be returned post hast due to the incompetence of his staff. The response was that he would put in a request to have that done. A request? Refunding my money should be automatic and ******* should take the responsibility of getting done. I doubt I am going to get my refund with out multiple more calls. Now I am shopping for a respectable and reliable lender that actually trains their employees to know the rules and regulations. My February travels are now going to be an issue with getting my loan completed as well. The amount of time I have already wasted with Loan Depot is appalling and I can only assume I will be spending even more time trying to get my refund. I will be posting this in all the places I able to review Loan Depot's service and letting all my friends and family know how incompetent Loan Depot is.LoanDepot

I have used LoanDepot several times in the past and always pleased. Their online process works beautifully and their loan officers are knowledgeable and courteous. I just recently closed a loan with them that finalized quickly, efficiently, and with minimal effort on my part. The closing agent even came to my home. I will call them again for my next loan.LoanDepot
