      Loan depot lacks customer service support and does not treat customers correctly. I enrolled in auto-pay option after 90 days and something happened in their system that caused my payments to not be debited from my bank account. I received no phone call on the issue and paper bills with no emergency stamp. They did send emails, but they were automatically funneled into my junk. Regardless, it is 2025 and autopay should be required. This is the only mortgage, or bill for that matter, that i have that isn't auto pay. In November I enrolled into auto pay and the website said i was good. For some reason this was untrue and something did not go through on their end. Today, my credit dropped 108 points due to a delinquent mortgage payment. Firstly, I have the money to pay the mortgage. Secondly, this couldn't have come at a worse time due to a promotion pending and buying other items in my personal life. The customer support team blamed me the entire time and didn't own up to their lack of effort to inform me of the situation. A phone call is typically best for urgent matters, not a passive email or a piece of mail (it is 2025, this is dated). They are currently stating they can't change the credit reporting and I will have to suffer the consequences of their lack of actions and lack of effort to enroll individuals into auto-pay. Do not use Loan Depot.

      Very satisfied with my experience with loandepot, Had great time and learned alot with this two awesome ladies, Ms **** and ms ******* they're awesome people, ms **** she explained me alot and the difference between the products I was interested in, she started my process for HELOC and Ms ******* finished my application nice and easy thank you both for this smooth experience.

      I have been battling Loan Depot since I found out my Dad was able to take out a HELOC without my mothers knowledge (mind you in a community property state). He has been battling cancer this year and is near the end of this very difficult battle. The family was unaware of this mortgage and by the time we found out, they had already started the foreclosure process. I have spoken to no less than 20 supervisors and way more **** than I can count. They refuse to waive any fees associated with the foreclosure process even though I paid it current.We knew that he was speaking with loan depot about his first mortgage and making payment arrangements. However they foreclosure process was already happening while they were letting him agree to that re-payment plan.On top of this, there is no way he would have qualified for this loan based on his income in the past few years due to his treatments. I believe this is predatory lending and they just did the loan so they can take my parents home. I have raised this complaint and was told it was being "reviewed" but I have not heard back from them. I continue to call with no avail.

      Loan Depot Team: Submitted online application on December 2 and loan was funded on December 24th. Normally 4-6 weeks. The turnaround time was amazing. I could not be more happier with my experience. Everyone from loan officer to his assistant to the appraiser and the notary were kind and professional.

      Need a loan soon - STAY AWAY. Also VERIFY what your sales person is attempting to sell you!In a Nutshell -Through no fault of mine, my loan took 2 months to fund. I was advised by 2 other financial institutions (using the identical information I provided to Loan depot) that I would close within 2-3 weeks (at the most) if I wanted to apply with them These comments came from a manager level individual at each institution - not just the sales ***resentative. In the end, my loan did fund.The Good First - ** ******************** was fantastic. She was professional, courteous, and gave me straight answers. Upper level management was also professional and courteous. Management went a step further to insure my funds were wired out as soon as possible providing feedback along the way. The Bad-** sales *** attempted to sell me a $140k loan when I articulated I only needed $30k with a promise that I would simply return unused funds and have the loan payment adjusted to a lower amount - only the loan he sold me does NOT allow this nor were there any loans of this type that even exist. I applied Oct 25, final loan disbursement occurred Dec 20. Every request made of me was provided within 24 hours. All communications and intentions were provided using the loan depot messaging tool. At NO time was my financial status at risk that would prevent approval of my loan. ** loan process was put into suspense for at least 2 weeks for an undisclosed reason. After learning that my $140k loan was NOT as promised. I was notified that I might potentially lose my rate lock, and that my new closing costs would be higher. I found it necessary to escalate my loan 2 management levels to insure these conditions did not occur. NO CUSTOMER SHOULD EVER HAVE TO ENDURE THIS DELAY AND REQUIREMENT TO ESCALATE THEIR LOAN APPLICATION. It gives me pause how someone with less favorable credit and income would be treated if they had a similar situation occur.
