Our experience with Loan Depot was very positive, We re-financed our loan from an FHA to conventional. The staff was professional and experienced. Our costs were in line with other lenders, Loan Depot's service is excellent.LoanDepot

This company used shady practices before my first actual conversation with their representative. While I did consent to being contacted, this company uses spoofed phone numbers to appear as though the call is local. This company was dishonest from the start. Please, if you are a first-time homebuyer, consider working with someone you know and trust as the process can be overwhelming enough without dealing with a dishonest lender.LoanDepot

They Scammed me out of money. Would not recommend to anyone. Advice to people...don't pay out of pocket for anything. They won't refund your money when they deny your loan...LoanDepot

I called just to get a ballpark figure for your current home equity loan interest rates. The loan officer *********************************** I talked to said he couldn't give me that information unless he did a "soft" check of my credit. He assured me it wouldn't affect my credit score in any way or be a no-kidding "hard" credit check. Stupidly, I gave him my social security number to allow him to do that "soft" credit check. After our discussion, he asked if I wanted to go ahead and apply for the loan. I emphatically said no!!! Nonetheless, today I received a voluminous loan application package in the mail, including the results of a full credit check on all three credit agencies (Experian, Equifax, and Transunion). The paperwork included my printed social security number!!! I am beyond livid, and will not have anything more to do with your untrustworthy company. I will make sure everyone I know is aware of how unscrupulous your company is. Do not contact me again and destroy any of my information that you acquired!!!!! ****LoanDepot

Loan Depot made an error on my billing and is now reporting false information to the credit companies. I will be having to take them to court to get them to cease and desist. Do not trust them!LoanDepot

We had a slight emergency for cash and needed to pay a couple loans off. Our bank wanted all loans paid in full, bit that would have kept ** from achieving our goal. *************************** was quick to verify and qualify ** for an FHA. There are pros and cons with FHA but it allowed ** to do what we needed with the equity available in our home. ******************************* finished our loan package. They were professional, excellent communicators, and were able to give ** a lower rate just before closing. A notary came to our home for closing. She was very delightful. *****LoanDepot
