Loan originated on a rental property on or about June 30,/2021. I received a delinquent notice dated January 20, 2023 that loanDepot did not pay the property tax that was due July 31, 2022. I called loadDepot customer service several times only to get a recording that due to technical difficulties my call could not be received and try again later. After several attempts I finally got though to someone who I couldn't understand. He had a supervisor return my call. She said that my account was "Exempt" from property taxes. Escrow of property tax and insurance was always done before and she said it was either their error or my county tax office. I called my tax office to confirm that my account was not exempt. The loadDepot woman said she would put in a request to pay the property tax and correct the issue however it would take approximately 10 days. In the meantime I am being charged additional interest and fees. I asked my county tax office lady about paying it myself today but she said if loanDepot eventually paid it, they would send the payment back to loanDepot and I might have a hard time getting my money back. She also said I should demand the repayment of the interest and penalty from loanDepot but I have no idea how to do that..LoanDepot

She would carefully explain every concept in the estimates, even if I asked several times about the same matter. ************** worked diligently on my application, and she would answer my calls and messages immediately. ************** was very flexible in order to adapt to my own schedule to answer my questions and guide me through all the documentation. I worked with an amazing team. The process was explained in details. We have been trying to refinance our home for 3 months. They wanted paystubs of my husband from 2 years ago. Every time they say that is all they need, they come up with something else they need. We have been told one thing from one person and another thing from someone else. This business does not know what they are doingLoanDepot

LoanDepot HELOC process was poorly handled from beginning to end. Technical issues every time tried to log into my portal, emails saying they needed documents that had been uploaded and accepted, non- existent customer service(when I called someone would assure me theyd handle the issue and report back - issue never resolved and never a return phone call. Finally found a supervisor who helped, but passed onto others who continued to make major errors. Know this is a new product but it is totally riddled with problems, and there seems to be no cohesive effort to fix the issues or help the customer. Still waiting for ************* weeks after closing!!LoanDepot
