    We entered into a Solar Panel "lease"Contract to be financed by Enfin corp in October 2024. Panels were installed and operational Nov. 5. A monitoring app was provided. December panels appeared to not be operating so I called Enfin for resolution but they said we did not have an account, yet we were receiving emails about our upcoming billing cycle on Dec 14. Solar Edge App was showing some production and was noted on our *************** bill. On Jan 8th our production and consumption were mirroring and I contacted Solar Edge the monitoring system. I was told there was no import export connection on one inverter and the other inverter was off line. I contacted the installer Freedom Forever and was told I needed a *** number from Enfin before they could repair. I contacted Enfin on Monday Jan 27th and they referred me to Omnidian. They are refusing to provide the *** number to have the installer make the repairs. We made our first $207.00 payment January 7th and the mirroring started occurring January 8th. This lack of production will result in an energy bill for consumption as there has been no production since Jan 8th. The panels will continue to not work and we will be forced to continue to pay the $207.00 installment. This is a breech in contract as we agreed to WORKING solar panels. The expectation is to be reimbursed of all of the energy costs during this time of non working panels immediately and to be provided with the necessary documentation to have the repairs done immediately.

    The issue has NOT been resolved and a *** from EnFin has NOT contacted me to move the issue forward of the completion of the "on-boarding" process and the resulting necessary ***airs being made.  Several attempts that I have made to contact EnFin for discussion and resolution has resulted in frustration as I'm transferred to various departments within EnFin, each claiming they cannot help me. 

    Request BBB contact EnFin and "encourage" contacting me by a supervisor/manager with enough knowledge and authority to resolve this issue.

    I signed up with ************** who has financing thru EnFinn in December of ******************************************************* February 2024, from February 2024 until now I have been charged for the solar system that doesnt work From February 2024-July 2024 solar system wasnt connected, working, nobody would help me, I spent 3 months in the phone talking to every **** with no solution Solar panels stopped working again in October 2024 until now I dont get follow **** I dont get resolution, I dont get technician on board This supposed to save me money and for 11 months I have been paying for service I dont have! Zero responsibility on every department I have spoke with customer service, home owner branch, technical branch, loan, supervisor, multiple and every person sends me to nonexistent support, promising to fix the issue, yet company bucket, just to change the name My issue was never even taken into consideration Yet here I am single mom , stuck with 2 electrical bills, EnFinn only wants to sent me to collections while I dont have the service Everyone is so rude and talking down to you I am single mom , this pathetic company costs me almost $2k for nothing, to ruin my credit, not providing a support, solutions I have been dealing with them and everyone involved since may and I am in the worst position right now, in the middle of a snow storm with huge xcell bill, because my system doesnt work They had audacity to tell me I should fix it myself and they will send me ******* video or walk me thru Scammers ! !!!!

    The company called *********************, came to my home in October 2024, offering solar panels, they have a partnership with Enfin. Two weeks later ********************* installed solar panels to my home and advised that someone will be coming out to inspect the panels and that once this is done upon approval from ***** and the inspector that the solar panels are working they would be turned on. However, in November 2024, ***** confirmed that the solar panels was showing approved for usage, however, the solar panels have not worked since the day of installation. When contacting Enfin for assistance they advised to make contact with ********************** We have advised Enfin on multiple calls that their partner group is not responding and when they try to make contact they are also not getting a response at the phone number provided ************** (which goes to voicemail. They also provided an additional number ************* which is not in use. We made another attempt to contact Enfin and they advised that they would submit a escalation and that we had to wait for 30 days to hear back. however, we have not heard anything back and our solar panels are not working. We have asked them many of times to have someone come out and remove the panels starting right after they were installed and we was not getting responses and to no avail they have denied out request. In addition they are set to start charging us for the solar panels which are not working and are wanting to hold us to paying over $47,000 for solar panels that do not work.

    Solar panels were installed and financed by Enfin. 2 days of usage out of the last 30 they have been operational. Multiple calls to Enfin and weeks later they gave me the number of the company that has literally nothing to do with my account and had never been registered to me by Enfin. My first payment is coming up and they sent me a deferral form with verbiage that this is a financial issue for me and that interest will be added to my principal for deferring this first payment for a product they have not actually provided to me.

    Apologies for lack of detail or specificity (specific dates and $ amounts). I could surely track down that type of information if required. - Im a disabled, 20yr military veteran and suffer memory issues - Ive been paying against my EnFin loan since approximately mid-2023. - My experience with EnFin and its now defunct installer, *******, was immediately mired in issues; the primary of which being that the system was not operational (powered on) for several months after installation while I awaited the local power company to conduct its inspection, but I was still required to pay against my loan. The financial distress of paying both the electric bill and loan prompted my initial contact with EnFin customer service. - Simply trying to explain my issue to customer service was problematic because the operators English was extremely poor, and despite their promise that EnFin would delay my requirement to pay against my loan until inspection was complete, I was later notified by EnFin that I missed payment despite my system still being non-operational. - Upon successful inspection, I contacted EnFin for guidance on how to power on the system, to which I was notified that my installer (EnSolar) had gone out of business, but that the same English deficient EnFin customer service *** would talk me through the process. This guidance was a complete failure, as this particular customer service *** was not an expert and was only reading instructions from a card. - After some individual research, I was finally able to power on. - After the first month of the system being powered on, I discovered that the system was not actually functional despite receiving power. This discovery was evident based on my electrical bill which showed that my solar system was only generating approximately $7 worth of energy for the monthly billing cycle. - its now been over a year and Im still paying against both my EnFin loan and full electric bill.

    I am selling my home and Im trying to get the solar transferred. I am past my closing date with one extension about to expire in a few days. Buyer is wanting to cancel contract because Enfin has not been able to get this done in a timely manner. As of today we are on day 63 of this process. We have called multiple times, multiple escalation and it has been imposible to get ahold of a supervisor. Some of the escalations and calls have not been noted and it is frustrating that I get told the same thing that a supervisor will call me. I dont know what else to do!! The sale if my home is about to fall apart and I only get an apology and that the only thing I can do is to escalated it!!! I am a solar referral partner and this service is unacceptable!!!!

    Hello, good afternoon! 

    Thank you for the message. Buyer did receive application forms but I have not receive any seller documents yet. I would like to keep this line of communication open due to the fact I get more information through here than the hotline number for customer service. I just got off the phone with a representative and they did not inform me about these documents being sent over. I appreciate this line of communication much more. I would like for this situation to be resolved as soon as possible and if theres an *** for loan approval once buyers have sent over the application paperwork. This will be completed no later than today. Please advise, thank you.

    This company installed solar panels on my home and they were supposed to send paperwork to the electric company to modify the bills. They have not yet received what they needed from the solar company. My system is not set up yet and they also promised me a back up battery.

    June 18 2024 I spoke to a representative about solar panels being put onto my home. we were promised that the financing would replace my energy bill and that we would only have to pay enfin. We agreed to the panels on that alone because the financing payment would have been cheaper and a definite price monthly. The representative text me on June 25 2024 saying Just wanted to shoot you an update. Look like we got the system approved from engineering. So we should be submitting for permits here this week!. The panels were installed on July 8th by My Roof Solar. I received a call from my city hall and Come to find out the permits werent even filed with the city to build the system. Moreover the utility company didnt approve the system and thats why it has been dragging on. Now they are saying that I would have to downsize the system and still have to pay the financing for the panels and the utility company or have another 95$ a month added for 10 years and have a battery installed. I asked at this point would removing the system and voiding out the contract was an option the representative texted back with It looks like we cant remove the system. The best option is the battery to remove the utility. They said we cant uninstall the solar since the loan is active and equipment is finalized. So best option is to add the battery.. I replied with But this isnt what we agreed to. And received this response The only other option we have with this utility is to leave with a solar and utility bill they said they will charge you no matter what unless we dont send power back with a battery. So its basically we take the 10 year $95 a month battery and cut the utility out and you have backup power, or we are stuck with two bills because they wont allow us to turn it on with the system size installed.

    I was contacted by ******, sales a representative, from the ******************** on August 3, 2024, in regard to solar panels being installed on my home. I was approved for a loan amount of $75,877.26 with monthly payment of $268 starting on November 14, 2024. The loan was for 30 years with 360 payments. The effective date was September 4, 2024. Representatives from the ******************** came to my home at the end of September at started installing the panels. Only half of the panels were installed, and an electrician installed some wires. Since that day, no one has returned to my home to complete the job. I have called EnFin (the loan company) and ******************** in reference to the job not being completed. I have not received satisfactory answers from either company. I have also reached out to the sales representative, ******, for some information, but he will not answer my calls or call back. EnFin is expecting me to make monthly payments for something that was not completely installed or working properly. If the panels were installed and working properly, I wouldn't have a problem with making my payments. I personal believe that the two companied are involved in some fraudulent activities to defraud people.

    I signed a contract with EnFin on August 3, 2024, to have solar panels installed at my home. As of today, the contract has not been completed. I filed a claim with BBB on November 6, 2024. I'm contact your agency again to see If I can get some assistance in this matter. This company continues to contact me, and my credit score has been affected.

    Our household unfortunately came into contract with EnFin on 10/2023. We had the panels installed and they were quick about that. Then we had MID come out and thought wow they are being quick to inspect too. Nope! They had our panels "ON" and were not allowed to do so. MID locked our box and flagged us. We informed the solar company via voicemail and never heard back. We were forced to pay the first payment even though we were told that there would be no payments due until the panels were turned on. We have been paying since just to have them up there collecting dust. Here it is 11/2024 and we have just been informed that the company that sold us the panels no longer exists and that we were scammed. Yet, we are still forced to make payments to EnFin who financed us through them. We have tried to reach out to Enfin and they are very unhelpful and unwilling to help in any way. At this point we just want the panels off. Several of our neighbors are going through the same situation as us and have the same feedback. At this point we are just going to get together and file a lawsuit against EnFin.
