I purchased a Bosch dishwasher on 5/2023. The first service call was 11/3/23 (over 3 months ago) to repair the dishwasher. It leaves black streaks on my stainless steel silverware and residue on some dishes.G&S Appliance. came out He said that I should try a different dishwasher detergent. I had been using the same brand with great results for years. He recommended Finish, then liquid detergent, then Glisten. No change after spending $40. G&S said it may have something to do with my whole house water softener/purifier system. I was told that maybe it was removing some essential mineral. This didn't make any sense to me. I asked him to find out what mineral could be missing so I could check with the manufacturer of my purification system but I never got an answer. I never had black streaks from handwashing the silverware (using exactly the same water that was going into the dishwasher) which I did for a couple of months while my kitchen was being renovated. **********, the manufacturer of the purifier system, sent an email that I forwarded to Bosch stating that their system could not cause this issue. Bosch had Central Coast Appliance come out twice. They could not figure out what was causing the problem either. I told Bosch that at this point I wanted a refund. I went through a horrific experience trying to get resolution. I looked at my call history and saw that I had made TWENTY-SIX calls to customer service. There were 2 different ticket numbers floating around and nobody at Bosch seemed to know what was going on. I got a call from Bosch and was told that my claim had been denied because they had not received a report and pictures from Central Coast Appliance which was not true. *********************** resent all of the information. I kept following up and was told that my case was under review. I asked that a supervisor call me and that never happened. I just want a refund so I can get a dishwasher that functions properly.Business Response

Order date 4/20/2024 42 Built-In French Door Refrigerator 2 drawers, panel ready ($13,999.00 plus taxes) so we could match it to the built-in pantry we had made for the refrigerator. Installed 7/24/2024.9/25-request repair of ice machine, overflowing and falling behind container. Door doesnt close & seal when this happens. 10/28-ice maker not working properly again, overfilling & falling behind container.11/19-light is dimming/flickering in refrigerator when opening & while doors are open randomly. Ice machine not working correctly still & alarm is so soft you cant hear it when door doesnt shut properly. Service man now replaced the entire circuit board. Lights are working again properly. ***** is still not working. Service man has added an overflow device to the ice container in hopes it will solve the problem. He tells me there is nothing we can do to increase volume of alarm. Device doesnt fix overflow problem. 12/2 I request removal of refrigerator, I do not want a replacement of this refrigerator, case #**********.. 1/2/25-receive email that current diagnosis is ok per serviceman. Case is closed. 1/15/2025- *************** man. Ice is overflowing and freezing. Alarm still is not working properly. Serviceman states nothing more he can do for ice. He calls office to make sure there is nothing more on the horizon to fix this glitch. States maybe next year (2026) but that isnt certain. Throw away the ice weekly, might help with freezing & freshness. There is still nothing he can do for alarm volume.1/20/2025 request original case be reopened. Received email you can no longer request in email must call in. 1/22/2025-Request for removal of refrigerator since ice machine & alarm volume do not work properly. No response since request, so today 2/2/2025 I called in and spoke to customer service, request has gone pending. Asked for supervisor, waited on phone 30 minutes & said they would ******* call. Early January, we purchased a Bosch Dishwasher from ******. It was installed by a certified ****** installer on Jan 11, 2025. We purchased it as an upgrade for a dishwasher that was working fine. The new Bosch dishwasher leaves a white powdery film on everything that it "cleans." The white residue cannot be cleaned off of the dishes impacted or the inside of the machine. To date, this white film has ruined hundreds of dollars of glasses, plates and glass storage containers. We have tried to resolve the issue by using three different dishwasher tabs, cleaning the inside with vinegar, and cleaning with 2 different dishwasher-specific cleaning tabs. All have the same result - a thick white powder still coats the inside of our washer and anything inside it. The dishwasher is completely unusable. We reported the issue to Bosch when the machine was less than approximately 2 weeks old. Obviously, this is not the experience we expected from a $1000+ appliance. For additional context: We have a new water softener as of ~1 month ago and the previous dishwasher did not have this problem.We reported the issue to Bosch on January 17 to request a replacement. Bosch sent one of their service providers (Mr. ********** to review the issue. He took the machine apart and reported that the issue was not our fault or derived from our water source. - We sent all required documentation (including the technician's report and pictures) on 1/24. Bosch never contacted us.- We called Bosch today (2/1) and were told that it is an environmental issue (our water or soap)- We escalated and were told we would not be contacted for 3 more business days * Also note that the machine has stopped drying or self opening to dry dishes in the 3 weeks that we have owned ***** this point, we are no longer interested in owning another Bosch appliance. We would like for the machine to be removed by a professional and to be refunded the $1,414.92 that we paid for it.Business Response

I purchased a Bosch 800 series cooktop from ********** on 8/28/24 for $2,788.29. It was delivered to my house on 09/13/24. It was installed within that week and worked perfectly. At the end of October (unknown date) the cooktop stopped working. I read through manuals and the Bosch website for trouble shooting issues and it continued not working. It was past 30 days from purchase so ********** would not accept a return so I turned to Bosch for the warranty process. They scheduled repair provider to come inspect my unit but they did not respond within the allotted time. I called Bosch back and they scheduled another repair technician to come out which didnt occur until 11/25/24. The repair tech said the cooktop had a broken power board (not sure on part because I didnt receive a receipt from their visit) and they would reach out to me to schedule a repair date. Two weeks go by and I hear nothing so I call repair company back. They stated that the part is on back order and they will call me when the part comes in. I called Bosch and they said that they have the part and they dont know if the repair company ordered it through them. I then called the repair company back and told them Bosch has the parts and to try and order through them. They stated they would send Bosch an email to check on the parts and get back to me. Nobody has gotten back to me from Bosch or repair company. I have continued to call Bosch several times to see if there is anything that can be done to either fix my cooktop or replace it and have not been given any answer. Bosch has called the repair company several times and they have not answered. I asked to speak to a supervisor and they said that they were not allowed to do that. I have received no follow up from Bosch and it only seems that anything gets done when I call. I received an email from Bosch stating that I didnt submit the correct paperwork but when I called back they said that I did. I dont know how I can resolve my issue.Business Response

We Purchased the refrigerator from ********** while waiting for our home to be finished being built. about a week later we were informed that our home wasn't going to be finished for over 6 months due to a national backlog for power transformers. We wound up having to purchase another home as a result, which is why there is a difference in addresses from the receipt to the delivery address where I live. Back in December while I was TDY to the Mexican Border for work as a Federal Special Agent, my wife informed me that our Freezer was making serious noises, and it quit making ice. Once home, (12/23/24) We contacted Bosch to send a repairman out, but they couldn't arrive until Jan 9, 2025 between 8AM-12Noon. We booked the service call. On Jan 8, 2025 we got a text from the service guy saying he would show up between 11:30 & 1:30. We cancelled the call, since I had 2 interviews on the 9th from 1:00-3:30. We contacted Bosch on the morning of the 9th, and they said it wasn't under warranty. I pointed out that their website states "Every Bosch home appliance you purchase comes with 24 months of free repairs and spare parts. On the rare occasion that something happens, rest assured we'll take care of it." She stated that I have to look at the fine print in the owners manual to see that its only 1 year. We found out that the service call is $180 just for the guy to show up outside our window that we agreed upon, then we would have been charged $200/hr for diagnosis of the issue, then have to pay for parts & labor @ $200/hr, plus possibly another $180 service call if he didn't have the part with him. At this point, we have shelled out over $4,000 on a refrigerator with dual compressors, to get s***** customer dis-service, and a repair bill likely to exceed 25% of the inflated purchase price is egregious. I no longer want this piece of garbage. I want them to buy it back, If a $4,000 fridge gets you the same 1 yr warranty as a $700 unit, ill just buy that.Business Response

Furthermore, no apology or compensation has been offered for the inconvenience caused, including the damage to my floor. While I will be sharing my experience across multiple platforms to highlight the poor customer service, I consider this matter closed.

I purchased a new Bosch refrigerator from a Bosch reseller in November of 2024. The unit was installed on 11/25/24. Several weeks later the unit suddenly stopped working. I opened a warranty case with Bosch and they sent an authorized repair person out. The repair person called Bosch support while in our home and was provided with the part number that needed to be replaced to resolve the issue. About a week later, they came back out and replaced the part but it did not fix the problem. The tech called Bosch back and Bosch said they did not have anything else to try and they would have to open an internal case. The next day I received an email from Bosch stating a replacement case had been opened but it did not explain next steps. I called Bosch and was told that they would have to review my case and that could take weeks or even months. It is completely unacceptable to expect to have to wait weeks or months for a resolution on a brand new $10000 appliance. When I asked to speak to the ***** ******* she refused and disconnected our call. At this point, I have opened a dispute with our credit card company and am also opening this BBB complaint in order to seek a resolution on this issue that Bosch seems to have no interest in resolving in a timely and congenial manner.Business Response

I called Bosch on January 2nd because my refrigerator stopped working. It was not staying cold. They told me they couldnt have a tech come look at it until the 16th, which was two weeks later. I have an infant and I need a fridge to keep formula, medicines, and other infant necessities cold. Finally the tech came to assess yesterday, and I was told it would be another 2 weeks until they can try this other part to see if that would work. They told me they would be back on January 30th to try the part. If that does not work we start all over again and i have to wait even longer for them to consider another part to replace. This is the second complaint i am filing against this company. I have been waiting a month for a tech to come fix my fridge. I filed with BBB and Bosch told me they would have someone out to fix my appliance on 1.24. I took off work (unpaid) and waited all day for the tech to come. I even called Bosch two times to make sure he was still coming and didnt cancel. They assured me he would be here today. The tech never showed up and never let me know they werent coming. This is by far the worst customer service i have ever experienced. I have a sick 1 year old and i have no fridge to store his prescriptions. I am out thousands of dollars in food that has gone bad, as well as having to order out because i have nowhere to store groceries. I will be filing a law suit with small claims court.Business Response

On July 21st, 2024, I purchased a Bosch SHP9PCM5N Benchmark Dishwasher. The dishwasher was delivered and installed on July 26th. We started using the dishwasher around the last week of August, and the unit worked perfectly until Christmas Eve (December 24th, 2024), at which point the unit would not power on at all. I did the recommended checks on the power breaker and power outlet. Everything to the dishwasher was in perfect working order. Because of the holiday, I was not able to reach out to Bosch until December 26th. They accepted my request and scheduled a technician to repair the unit the following Thursday (January 1st, 2025). The technician worked for over an hour on the unit, replacing all major components, and still could not get the dishwasher to power on. They indicated that the unit would need to be replaced entirely. Because the unit was less than 6 months old, I was to receive a complete replacement with installation at no cost. The technician sent the replacement request to Bosch and said that someone would reach out to me. On January 2nd, I received an email indicating that they received my request for a replacement and that they would need a copy of the purchase receipt before they could approve my request. I sent the receipt the next day. On January 8th, I finally received confirmation that my replacement request was approved and that I would hear from an installation company within a week to deliver and install the new dishwasher. Today, Jan 15th, I still had not heard back from anyone so I called again to get an update. I spoke with someone named ***** and was informed that the replacement request was approved, but they have not determined an installation date yet and that it might be another week or more. I asked if I could speak to someone else for a more accurate time frame and was told that I could not talk to anyone else and that I just had to wait.
