I paid $1500 for a downpayment to ********************* with Timeshare Freedom Group with promises of a cancelled timeshare within ***** months. $200 was taken out of my bank account for 4 months and then nothing. I reached back out and was connected with *************************** with A Family on Vacation who acted as if she took my file over. She has ceased communicating with me for months now. On 02/26/2019 I PAID Timeshare Freedom Group (TFG) $3,695 to get my timeshare canceled. They said it would be done in 24 months or I would be refunded. On 05/26/2020 I was made to pay an additional $950 to TFG for resort processing fees. On 7/09/21 I was informed that it was completed and was told to wait on the timeshare to complete the deed transfer. I received an Invoice from my timeshare for annual maintenance fees and Taxes. I called and E-mailed TFG and have not been able to contact anyone. I then called my timeshare, and they said the transaction did not go through, so I am still responsible for the annual fees. I am not able to reach anyone from TFG and need resolution as far as completion of cancelation or a refund.Initial Complaint

On April 27, 2021 I entered into contract with Timeshare Freedom Group with the understanding that they were going to cancel my timeshare agreement with my timeshare company. They charged me a fee, which I paid in the amount of $3,132.00. They also stated that the process could take up to 18 months during which I never had any information communicated to me by them. I was once able to call a number, that I was constantly being hung up on after long wait times, and passed myself off as a new client when I eventually was able to reach a live person on the phone. Only after stating that I was a new client and wanted information did they pass my call on to the next representative and that was when I told them I was an existing client and that I've yet to receive any information from them. They assured me that they had "lawyers working on the case" and that someone would get back to me soon. I never heard from them again and there aren't any functioning methods of communication with anyone at this company.Initial Complaint

We signed up with this group to help get us out of our contract with ***************** timeshare. We contracted with this company in November 2020. I acquired Timeshare Freedom Groups service back in Dec 2020 to assist with exiting my timeshare. I paid them $6,893.13 to get me out of the timeshare within 24 months or my money back guaranteed. They were reaching out to me in the beginning that all was going well and provided the law firm that was processing the information to get me out of my timeshare. After a few months I didn't hear again so I reached out to the law firm to get any info. Each time I was told it's a process and it takes time, but they were on track and working on it. Because of my timeshare not being resolved yet, my security clearance is now pending revocation. I need my security clearance to keep my job. I hope BBB will be able to assist me with the recovery of my money.Initial Complaint

We signed up for timeshare freedom group back in January 2019. They promised to get us out of the timeshare for $5000.00 or money back after 12 months. I emailed them close to the 12 months **** checking on status and they said it's taking longer. In 2020 they stopped sending emails and stopped answering phone calls. Later in 2021 they said they moved to a different law firm so its taking longer. We tried to contact customer service so we can get our refund but it is impossible to reach them. We got an email this year saying they are canceling their services with our contract because we didn't give the new law firm more money.Initial Complaint

I retain services from Timeshare Freedom group I paid them the amount of $3600 they have not responded to me in over a year and a half they stopped emailing me they have no email address as of now that I can send to them everything comes back as non mailed I am supposed to be exiting my timeshare they have not rendered service to me this is going on two years they owe me the money back because its 24 months without an exit and they fail to respond they do not have a valid working number or email address to contact them on.Initial Complaint

I began working with Timeshare Freedom Group 2 years ago. At first, they were very responsive. They would call and give me updates. I noticed a change at the end of 2021. I stopped receiving phone calls from Timeshare Freedom Group. Then I received an email in December 2021 from the law firm that I was referred to by Timeshare Freedom Group. On the Zoom call they told us that they have reached out to Timeshare Freedom Group and have not received a response. They wanted to keep us in the loop about what was going on or lack thereof. The law firm also mentioned that they would continue working with us. Timeshare Freedom Group needs to be held accountable for their criminal behavior. They went out of business without contacting their clients. It's highway robbery. Hopefully, Timeshare Freedom Group is taken to court. They need to be held liable for not upholding their end of the contract. Contracts mean something and justice needs to be served.Initial Complaint

In September of 2021 I contacted time share freedom group to assist us in canceling our time share due to increase costs and lack of availability. This company made promises to assist us and had us pay $3501.00, 9/3/21. Initially they made contact with us and recently have heard nothing. I am unable to reach this company as all number are out of order. I am hoping there is a way I can recover some of these costs due to them breaking their promises/contract. Thank youInitial Complaint

I paid Freedom group timeshare $2500 to help me get out of my timeshare and they stole my money. I thought this issue was resolved but instead I received a letter from a collection agency from the timeshare for almost $5000.
