    Worst customer service ever! I went on Chat for more info on a replacement liner for my pool. Chat was not able to help so offered to have a rep call me. I accepted and then was told I had to give my credit card info for a $5 charge for that phone call. Totally refundable How? I dont know. Totally ridiculous!!

    Possibly my worst customer service experience ever. Because I was unable to resolve the problem of my credit cards being charged SIX times for the purchase of a single spa coverthere were other problems, but this will suffice for this review, which was requested by IntexI had to send physical letters to five principals for assistance: **************, Managing Director, ****************** Vice ********** ****************** ********** and ************************ CEO. The content is posted below, but after a week or so their response was to have a woman call who offered no apologies or compensation for my trouble and wasted time, and curtly refused when I asked about it. She/they had ZERO concern for me as a customer. Excerpts:"When I called ********************** on January 16 to purchase a cover for my spa, I spoke with a man who took more than 30 minutes to locate the product. He then ran my Discover card and said the transaction didnt go through, so he ran it again. When that failed, he ran my Amex card three times and said it too had failed. Next, he insisted that I contact Discover and Amex to investigate the problem and when I resisted doing that for what should be obvious reasons, he just talked over me, repeating himself over and over before eventually hanging up. I then called back and spoke with a much more competent woman who took my order and charged my Amex card.A few days later, I noticed two charges on my Discover card and four on my Amex card. When I call customer service, I was told that they couldnt help me, but a supervisor would call me within 48 hours. They did not.I also contacted customer service via email and was first told that they could not help with this and that I should call customer service. When I responded that I had called and insisted they have a supervisor contact me, I was assured that a supervisor had been notified and would call. They did not. So, I contacted Discover and disputed two charges, and **** and disputed three (the fourth charge being legitimate)."

    My wife ordered me an inflatable kayak from Intex in Oct as a Christmas gift. Living in *******, we did not open it until Memorial day weekend. One side of the Kayak would not inflate. I was told that since the product only had a 90 warranty, they suggested I purchase another one. I think the guy was reading from a ****** and never really checking with a supervisor. Why would I buy another Kayak when the first one was inoperable??? I would never buy another product from this company.

Please note that the limited manufacturer warranty for Intex products covers manufacturer defects and is valid for 90 days from the date of purchase, not from the date of use.

    I ordered a excursion 5 inflatable boat via Prime on March 19. I did not open it until 4/16 as that was the first time I was going to use it. Upon opening, I noticed a plastic piece that holds the oar paddle and handle together was missing on one of the oars. I called Intex to have them send me another cheap oar. They advised my warranty ran out 6 days ago, I explained that I did not open the box until I was ready to use the boat. The *** woud not budge. I asked for his supervisors name and contact info and he would not give that to me. When I asked his name, he hung up on me. Are you kidding me??? The value of the oar is likely less than $5.

    I ordered a Greywood Spa and received A week of Headaches trying to Get this Sad Excuse for a company to Replace a Defective Bladder with a leak out the box. The Worst CUSTOMER SERVICE I have Ever Encountered...I would never PURCHASE ANY PRODUCTS FROM INTEX....

    My issue has been resolved, but no thanks to Intex Recreation Corp. I purchased their their air mattress on Walmart.com on Dec. 15, 2022 and received it on Dec. 19. On or around June 17, 2023, the item caught fire due to defective wiring. I contacted Intex on Aug. 29, 2023 regarding the item's one-year warranty. I asked them to replace the defective product. Over the next few months, they gave me claim #******; they requested and were provided with my purchase receipt, as well as pictures of the exposed wiring that caused the item to catch fire. On Sept. 18, 2023, I received an email that Intex cancelled my warranty claim. They claimed that my warranty was expired. My warranty, at that point, was still in effect because it was a 1-year warranty and the item was still less than 1 year old. I revisited the claim on the Intex website and they had deleted the pictures I provided of the defective part. I sent multiple (at least 3) requests demanding that they re-open my claim and honor the warranty. They repeatedly send me the the automated claim cancellation notice. Following BBB involvement, they approved my claim, but would only replace the item with an undesirable substitution. I wanted a refund. They refused and sent me back to the retailer to attempt to get my refund. The retailer sent me in circles between their departments and my bank for at least a month. Last night, I was finally able to get most of my money back. In a compromise for time, I agreed to receive $1.20 back less than I paid. I tried to let BBB know, but they had prematurely closed my complaint. So I'm posting here. I have tried to call Intex to inform them, but their recording says they are closed for the holiday until Jan. 3, ****. This was HORRIBLE. It should not be this hard to get recompense for a dangerous product.

    I filled various claims to no avail. I took photos of receipt,box, and piece of product as instructed.I have been blocked from further comm... This is the fourth mattress I have purchased.. stubborn me...I want my money back!!!!

    I submitted a warranty claim for an air bed purchased via Amazon that wont hold air without visible holes. Submitted required documentation for warranty three times and all I get is another canned email. Cant reach customer service by phone, tried today at 10:30 am CST and got auto reply to call back during business hours. The Chat with us feature replies and then replies again with a thank you and ends. I am beyond frustrated, will complain to Amazon!

    If I could give 0 stars I would ! I bought a replacement liner and paid full price. After assembling the pool and filling it, the liner had a tear on the side wall and Was leaking. **************** was totally useless stating that I needed to send the liner back and pay for shipping at my expense after I had already paid for shipping to get it delivered. The product they sent me was defective and they refused to give me a refund. Then after I finally got to speak to a manager after waiting days for a call back, they said they would send a replacement if I cut out the model number from the liner and shipped that to them. I refused to put more work into fixing their mistake. They then agreed to accept pictures only, no video of the defective liner. I submitted an initial claim to which they responded with another claim to provide the exact same info for a second time. They then rejected the claim after all that. Do not purchase from this company.

    We've purchased 2 pools from intex. The first one had a hole and they sent ** a new one. The new one got 4 holes in 2 weeks. . Had to cut it up for garbage. Do not recommend this terrible product.
