      Do NOT rent from ***. They will get over on you!! Tried to get $50 for upgrade, $50 for toll pass ( we went they NO tolls). Said dont worry about filling up gas and then charged for full tank of gas when it still had over half tank in it. Miscellaneous BS charges on final bill. Called customer service and got. O where!! DONT USE THEM THEY MAY SEEM CHEAPER AT FIRST BUT THEY ARE NOT IN THE END!!!!

      I can't even give them a star.I feel super angry with Expedia to making fun of customers in this way and connecting us with companies like ***, so incompetent and cheating, that after vacation we have to go through these bad times, they cleaned their hands on each other and no one resolves the situation, I called For hours they put me on hold and at the end they send me to the mail box or they just hang up on me without caring. They have hidden charges, they charged me insurance when I told them no and I read others complaints from other people, and the worst thing is that you call to talk to someone and I can't get through to either Fox or Expedia. The government should put stronger and stricter laws for these companies, they do whatever they want and they don't respect anyone, they only care about taking people's money and that's it. This is what remains after a vacation. what a frustration. I won't waist my time anymore calling but I will make this to be report it every where so less pp don't use these companies anymore.

      I rented my car 2 weeks earlier through Priceline, and then when I got to Fox, I waited in line for 2 & 1/2 hours. When I got to the counter, they said there were no cars available and that I would have to wait for someone to return one before I could get one. There were ***** people waiting in line behind me, and there were no cars available for ANY of them. I was told by one of the other car rental places in the same building that *** has a reputation for overbooking cars.I was able to rent a car from a different company, but had to pay a lot higher price. I was willing to pay it because I was stranded at the airport with no rental car.

      I paid for this car on ******* $263. Small sedan for 5 days. When I arrive at the rental car pickup, I am informed that I owe another $650 for insurance and fees. I am told that some of it will be returned to my account. What I am not told is I spent over $200 of those fees in optional charges. The contract is sent to my email which is much different from the one I signed at the rental car pickup location. This business preys on travelers who come to their business exhausted and takes full advantage of them.

      DO NOT RESERVE FROM THIS COMPANY Worst business ethics ever. The customer ahead of me had similar problems with this company also and walked away without their rental.I went to the counter to get my rental, the lady tried to charge more than double what I was quoted for insurance and deposit. They wouldn't let me use another credit card or my debit/ Mastercard because I live in the same state as I was renting in. I understand it's their policy, but then she tells me to cancel the reservation because she won't honor the reservation, that I needed to cancel the reservation through ******* and do again. They canceled the reservation and proceed to notify me Fox will not refund my money back. They not only left me stranded at the airport, they had every intention of stealing the money I had paid in good faith that I would receive the rental I reserved. I had to do another rental agreement through Enterprise to get home. Fox Rent A Car is not a reputable company, as far as my experience has shown.PLEASE SAVE YOURSELF THE HASSLE AND YOUR MONEY AND USE A BETTER COMPANY!

      One of the worst customer service experience I had. I will not waste much more of my time reviewing this company. This is the most unprofessional racist company I came across in a long time. I sat down in the background and watched the representative gave all the minorities a hard time, everyone walked away without a car. This so called customer service laugh after her minority customers left. She seems to enjoy making people life miserable. Fox should do themselves a favor and look at their so called customer service. She is costing your company business. I wish I had a way to give a 0 star. Buyers be aware.

      Fox car rental at ************** is just terrible. The punk behind the counter was the most rude individual Id ever encountered. I asked for the managers and she wasnt much better. They are all about upcharging and scam. When I refused their up charges, they get rude and belligerent. I will never use this terrible company again.

      If I could rate zero I would. Never in 30 years of traveling for business or pleasure have I had such a terrible experience. After a fun vacation with the kids, they charged me $100 detail service after the fact for leaves and sand in the car. According to their agreement the car has to be returned exactly as it was picked up. I don't know anyone on vacation who stops by a car wash to vacuum the car, nor does it cost $100 to do it on their end. This is a build in business operation expense that they likely built into the initial rental. Aside from that their billing department (Namely **********************) threatened to take me to collection and put my on the "do not rent" list if I didn't pay it. After 11 emails and 3 conversations with customer service/billing from 8/6-8/19 they still wouldn't budge. I wish I read the abhorrent reviews before I rented from them. ZERO IS MY REVIEW. NEVER EVER RENT FROM THIS COMPANY.

      Thank you for your feedback. Unfortunately, anytime that a vehicle will require cleaning beyond the normal vacuum and wash at return a detailing fee is often added as the vehicle must be removed from the lot for the additional cleaning. Pictures of the return were reviewed to ensure that the charge was correct.

      When i picked the car up, there was trash in the backseat and the car didnt start immediately. WE realized it was because the push button start wouldnt start with more than one door open. No big deal. Then, the next morning, after driving 2 hours to my hotel, the car's battery was dead. The car itself has a alarm in it that reminds you to turn the lights off, so lights were off doors were shut, so this wasnt an issue because i left something running. Called the company and because the car is less than 35K miles, they wouldnt help me. Luckily a hotel maitenance guy was super helpul and helped me jump the car.Nice car, very comfy commute to and from during my trip, and very affordable, but i would NOT rent from Fox again.

      Their rental agreement says they will charge the going rate for gas refills which is what 4 bucks at its highest? These scum charged me 8.99 a gallon! Suddenly my 89 dollar rental ballooned to over 200! Can they do this? These guys are are criminals. Please add a NO STAR option for business like these.

      I am very sorry that there was a misunderstanding regarding the fuel, there is a prepaid fuel rate which must be added to the contract at pick up and there is a return rate if that is not added and the car is not returned on full.
