      Don't do it! I stupidly went with them to save some money and man, do I regret it! Our flight was cancelled and re-booked for 24 hours later. I immediately got on the phone with them to let them know and they said since I had already paid in full, they could only hold the car for 12 hours. If I didn't pick it up, I forfeit the car and the payment. That doesn't even make sense! I paid for the car for 5 days. Who cares if I only use it for 4. I tried several times to speak with someone but they wouldn't budge. They took my money and I ended up having to rebook a car, but this time with a reputable company. I'll be asking my cc company to reverse the charges. Unbelievable!

      We received two bills for tolls with a $15 administrative fee added for each toll. Driving from ****** to ******************* there are two tolls in each direction. The first bill included three tolls, which we paid. The second bill arrived later with a bill for all four tolls, including the three that we had already paid. The only new charge was for the second toll on March 10, which occurred minutes after the first toll the same day they had already billed. The bill included a notice that if you take no action the bill will be charged to your credit card on file. It appears to be attempt at double billing, hoping that customers will either pay both bills without thinking or simply take no action and both bills will be charged to the credit card on file. I have reported this scam to the Better Business Bureau, which does NOT accredit Fox Rental.

      This location has a ***** working there. His name is *****. I arrived and asked for my car that reserved but I was told it was not available, we can upgrade you for free.I took the van instead of a car that I wanted. When I went home I received a bill for an upgrade I call the agent (*****) and he said that I agreed for the upgrade. They refused to refund the money I really believe that they are cheating us people by taking advantage of us needing a car and offer us a different car and switch with they promised I wanted to put this out there so you can accumulate information on this bad business behavior

      Horrible company! I sat at the ***** car rental for almost an hour waiting for a shuttle to take me to the off site location to rent my car and it never showed up! When I called for assistance I spoke to 2 people and not only could they not help me, but they also couldn't cancel my reservation because it was a Sunday! When I called Monday to let them know they wouldn't refund my money! I wouldn't recommend them to my enemy!

      Fox car rental are the absolute worst. I had a booking and spent 4 hours in line at ******************* location. They offered me a free tank of gas to say sorry for the wait, and when I returned the car this was not honoured, I was still charged $80 for a tank of gas. They didnt tell me about tolls either. Even though I did not use a toll road, a month after I returned the car a fee of $60 was taken off my credit card for supposed toll fees. When I called to complain they told me its not their problem and Im to contact Fox toll company. When I did, they told me I should have been offered an $11.99 a day toll coverage by *** and I didnt take it. I was never offered toll coverage. *** also informed me that next month they will take another $60. I cant believe this is legal? I drove from the airport to my hotel on the main highway (not an toll) and thats where the car stayed. They told me a $60 fee is charged to use the highway from airport. I will also be charged $60 next month for my use of the highway on my way back to airport car rental and if Id taken Fox coverage, I would have paid less. This is a scam. Fox car rental didnt mention anything about tolls or road fees. Im so upset about this. I think they are in bed together to get maximum buck from visitors. Barclays my credit card company refused to reject these fraudulent payments. Beware of Fox Rental and trips to ******.

      Rental car and experience was acceptable, but I had to call to have my $150 security deposit release INITIATED after 7 business days (3-5 is the promise I received when I turned my car in). I asked why I had to call to have this done, which of course, could not be answered. I doubt very seriously that it ever would have been released. That seals the no-trust and no-business in the future.

      We were very disappointed with the service and the actual auto we rented from Fox. The car we received was in poor condition. The transmission was slipping but thankfully we made it through the week without breaking down.Our biggest complaint however involves the deception that the sales clerk conveyed to us upon arrival. I recently underwent surgery for a ruptured Achilles tendon. As I was not driving at the time, we inquired about our 23-year-old son being a registered driver for our stay in *******. We were quoted an additional charge of $12.99 per day. We asked and were told this was the only upcharge for him to be added as a driver. My wife and I thought this was reasonable. However, our actual bill included the following extra charges for him as a driver:6 CFC $35.70 6 VLF $7.02 6 ERF $4.56 6 AGE $120.00 Total additional charges of $167.28 above the $77.94 we were quoted for 6 days. We have no idea what the abbreviated codes stand for.The agent also asked if we would like to prepay the fill-up on the car and said we would save $.20 per gallon off the current cost of fuel. Sounded like a good deal until we got the bill. We returned the car with about 3/8 of a tank of gas and were charged the following:Prepaid gas @ $3.24/gallon = $49.57 (this means it took ****** gallons to fill approximately 5/8 of a tank, doubtful, but we could live with that). They also charged us the following extra charges:*** CRF 10% - $47.23 ** Tax 7.5% - $42.54 (If we paid $49.57 to fill the car $3.71 is 7.5% of that)Surcharge $2/day - $12.00 Total additional charges that were never quoted were $101.77. If the $49.57 is included that charged us $$151.34 to fill the tank. This is ludicrous and deceptive.We will never rent from Fox again and suggest you do not either. I would give them zero stars if that was possible but I needed to choose at least one.

      I am sorry to read that you were unsure of some of your charges and unhappy with the vehicle provided. Most of the abbreviated charges you indicated above are rental fees and were all included on the prepaid voucher you had with Priceline. The charges incurred directly from Fox Rent a Car were for the signed for prepaid fuel (which is sold only by half or full tanks), the underage fee for the additional driver who was under the age of 25 and the additional driver fee per day. I am very sorry if these fees were not made clear at the counter. All renters/drivers under the age of 25 are charged a daily underage fee. Renters must be 25 years of age or older to waive that fee. I am showing that you returned the vehicle with 1/4 of a tank. As it appears you were not aware that you purchased the entire tank for the prepaid fuel service we have refunded the 1/4 of the tank that was not used as a courtesy to you. I cannot remove the underage fees as those are required for anyone under the age of 25, I did waive the additional driver fees since you were unable to drive due to injury. An updated invoice has been sent to your email. Thank you.

      Horrible company. The agents were all very pleasant but watch out! While they're smiling at you from the other side of the counter they are adding up-charges to your rental. Had to return my car to *************** because of a mechanical issue. They gave me the same exact car type and charged me several hundred extra for an upgrade. There was no upgrade. They also charged me $124 for gas when the amount on the contract was 53. Make sure you check your credit card as soon as the charges are posted. They were terrible about printing out the paperwork and said they'd email it. After three calls to customer service and still nothing, back to the *********************** I went. I will never book with them again.

      If I could give them one star, I would. Absolutely horrible experience from star to finish. First of all, they had a booth at the airport just outside, and was hard to find. Secondly, the agents working there were absolutely clueless and had no clue what they were doing. They couldnt find the car and were clicking around to see which car it is, then they gave us a car that wasnt even cleaned. When we got in we saw the center console was filthy. The guy reached over my aunt to clean it after the fact. Once we reached home we realized we had double paid for insurance, which we paid through Expedia (where we did the original booking). When I called the company to confirm this the agent who answered was very rude, he basically told me to go back and get it refunded when I told him I couldnt do that he said well theres nothing we can do. One we reached our destination the operations manager emailed us with a 10% discount and gave us the wrong license plate as the car we rented. Apparently the agents gave us the incorrect car; and marked the car we actually had as returned!! So he was reaching out once he realized the mistake. We were annoyed by this point and how this was all handled, once we finally got to the rental place. They told my aunt who we added as an additional driver there was no record of her being added yet they scanned her license at the time of the ********************** AND charged us an additional driver fee. The manager was completely rude and dismissive the entire time and even said they had no record of my Call even though the agent had to speak with my husband to get me authorized to speak to! They wasted all our time and added undue stress. Dont ever rent from here..

Unfortunately, when you purchase third party insurance it does not show on your reservation so you will need to decline coverage with the location as well.       When renting the car in *******, I told the agent that my insurance coverage was adequate for our car rental. She acknowledged it. There was a long line, so she quickly highlighted a line on the paper and told me where to initial and sign. With all the people waiting, I acted quickly and trusted all was well. After the vehicle was returned, I found an additional charge of $263.89 which was $23.99/Day for Loss Damage Waiver....insurance! We had researched all the ways that costs could be incurred. We took pictures before and after and knew how to avoid fuel charges, etc. This one slipped by us as we thought the agent was there to help and care for the customer. ***** customer service has not been helpful. We feel that we were deceived into buying something that they knew was not necessary.
