  I changed my pin on my phone and called requesting help to get back into my phone, but they are telling me they can't do anything for me, I have lost access to my contacts and emails, this is wrong. They must of turned it off cause i received a call from a friend when I first discovered I couldn't get back in, now I don't even get calls that's how I know they have turned it off. I also found the paper I wrote it on and the code doesn't work. If they can reset app preferences and can cut my data off and on then they could help me. A business that lies to the elderly doesn't deserve success. I am very disappointed and feel I have been tricked or rather deceived, I used someone's phone to verify my phone isn't ringing and the code I set it to isn't working. They informed me they don't have managers or technical support either. I even contacted my Congressman on their behalf when the *** was ending yet they don't have anyway to help me. Also they are offering 10 gb's for the lifeline and I only got 4gb'**** no referrals from me and hope they remember word of mouth travels faster than they even thought about.

  Tried contacting this business by phone, to no avail. Ended up chatting with them online.. I did not get the satisfaction or help that I needed from them, although they apologized for that.

  I just had an interaction with ************************* whom was trying to scam my elderly neighbor. He came to my attention because he banged on our door twice stating package prior to heading to defraud her. Our door has a no soliciting sign and he still banged twice lying about a package. Our complex is majority elderly people and it was clear he was aware of that. When I asked him what he is selling he said nothing and that its a government program. I asked why are you knocking on doors that state no solicitation- he said Im not selling anything- its a knock, not a solicitation.- I laughed because he must be thinking Im an idiot.- He continued to try to explain to me its a government company- while he was uploading my neighbors identification and social security number on his laptop. I asked my neighbor what he told her and she said- he said he needed my identification and information. He hadnt explained anything to her regarding this phone he was giving her. He actually handed her the phone the minute she opened the door in order for her to feel she couldnt give it back. He seemed extremely nervous. Its sad that people cant get real jobs and instead are taking advantage of elderly people. ****** I hope your parents get taken advantage just so you get your karma.

  TruConnect ripped me off! I paid for a new tablet & when I received it, it was defective, didn't work whatsoever! I called them and obtained the address to send the defective tablet back, spent more money on shipping, waited a few days & called them back to make sure they received the defective tablet, which they did, and the supervisor told me it was sent the prior day. I called today, 7/18/24, spoke with two people, one of which was supposedly the **************** informed me that there was nothing they could do because it wasn't under warranty! After arguing with her, I hung up because first they lied about sending me a new one & they were giving me the runaround! I am so upset right now & didn't know what to do so I'm contacting you to try and help me get this matter resolved. All I want is either a new tablet or my money back! Please help me!! I'm on SS & don't have extra money in my budget to purchase another from somewhere else!

  2 women from TruConnect stopped by my home and asked for my personal information to get a free phone. That is unprofessional and irresponsible. Please investigate their practices. I wouldn't even give it one star but I had to for this review.

  Horrible....like really horrible...customer service. The app is not only confusing, but deceptive. I've lost $17 not understanding what I'm paying for. No, it's not a lot of money, for some, but it is the principle. I've called and spoken to 3 different representatives, who pretty much read me back what the screen told them to (instead really looking into the issue). I just tried to chat online, thinking communication would be more clear and go smoother. The first agent ("**************") pasted information that did not address my issue.....then abruptly ended the chat while I was typing. I started another chat but seen where it was going...again...so I just ended the chat. Thankfully, I am in the process of switching service.

  Someone came to my door from tru Connect offering a free phone for veterans and fast talked me into giving my information and last four. And then told me the program had ended for veterans and took the phone back. They should be stopped from targeting and harassing seniors and veterans. Im just waiting to see what the damage will be.

  I would put zero stars if possible. 3 men came to my door signing people up for new phone service with Life**ne I told them, I have service and they said the government is allowing people to have 2 government phones now. I have never been scammed before by **************** so I beleived it and I called Life**ne right after and they said NO, that is a ** luckily Life**ne canceled the new service for me or I would of lost my current service which I am happy with.. I called truconnect to report them and the lady told me not to worry about it, and asked if I wanted to contine setting up my account, I told her absolutely not..I do not want truconnect ever I have had a bad experiencia before, it's **ke she didn't care about them scamming to get more recruits, and totally disregarded my complaint.

  yes tru connect is a scam.....rip you off on a useless flip phone that don't work and won't take back.....claims to call get a refund and that is pointless.....keep sending you email from there customer care address and will not reply so all they do is ignore you.....they are all about call call call and you can not understand any of them with there heavy accents worst company ever

  TRU CONNECT IS A SCAM!! They accuse me for 2 months of using 12 GB OF DATA. The 3rd month I havent used any data JUST TO SEE. And they accused me of using it again! TRYING TO GET ME TO PURCHASE DATA!! If anyone want to file a lawsuit contact me ***********************. Im filing a class action. The government need to be contacted as well. They are NOT government phones!! Thats a lie!!
