      Truconnect is discriminating against I have a low income ACP phone they're discriminating acting like I'm not as good as the next man I should have the same rights as anyone else I think they're breaking the law by doing so or they wouldn't be lying about it all I see on all the complaints they can't get nobody by phone probably because they've cut someone's data off or service I tried filing a complaint with the better Business bureau it said I should do a review so I'm doing one is straight up discrimination I don't feel comfortable talking to any of the service techs they're all unprofessional is truconnect training them to be like at they have to be and it's really bad management why are they discriminating against me more people needs to stick together start contacting attorneys so we can get this problem resolved and everyone could be treated equally and with respect customer service was telling me that my service renews on different dates of the month so it's not necessarily 30 days I just want to be treated equally I've tried to reach someone that can help me on multiple occasions 3 to hang up on me put me on hold for hours lie to me I can't no one tell me the truth so there's something up with that they got to be breaking the law

      On May 17th a gentleman stopped by my home to tell me I qualified for a free C7 Phone. I was somewhat skeptical because free phones are usually for people that are low income. I don't consider myself low income so I wasn't sure I wanted the phone or that I qualified for it. I already have a Smart Phone and a landline. After hearing about all the features the phone comes with I let myself be talked into receiving it. I was told that I needed to pay $12 dollars, which I cannot remember what it was for. I made the mistake of paying cash, when giving a choice of paying by cash or check. The following day I changed my mind about keeping the phone. The phone had not been activated and it was still in it's box. I emailed TruConnect letting them know I was returning the phone and would like my $12 dollars refunded. When they finally responded I was told they couldn't take the phone back and I should keep it. I was also told my money could not be refunded because I paid cash. I was given a choice between cash or check. I was never told cash could not be returned. Twelve dollars may not seem like much, but it does to me. And I would very much like my money returned.

      I had two men come to my door offering a free phone with lifetime usage. All I needed to do was contact TruConnect, and after they fleeced me out of $500.00 dollars. I contacted TruConnect and went through all of the steps to move my number from my provider to TruConnect. That did not even come close to working out for me. The people at TruConnect are incompetent idiots. I lost my original phone number after 4 years and now have to contact those I have been friends and business contacts I have worked with to notify them, if I can, that my number has changed ALL DUE TO TRUCONNECT.STAY AWAY FROM THIS COMPANY. IT IS EVIL AND WILL ONLY WIND UP HURTING YOU ONE WAY OR THE OTHER. IT IS A SCAM PERPETRATED BY T-MOBILE. HOW? IF YOU CONTACT TRUCONNECTS NUMBER, YOU WILL ONLY GET T-MOBILE. AFTER 10 MINUTES OF FRUSTRATION, THEY WILL FORWARD YOU TO TRUCONNECT OR SO THEY SAY, BUT NOTHING WILL EVER BE DONE UNLESS YOU SIGN UP WITH T-MOBILE.YOU HAVE BEEN WARNED.

      This company keeps dropping my phone connection so I can't make calls. Then they cut off my super slow data "service " claiming I used up the 4.5 gb of data when both my phone and Internet Measurement App, which have ALWAYS agreed with other companies Measurements, says I used 4.06 gb.Their customer DISservice can barely speak English, and spend all their time apologizing but not actually fixing anything. They had no explanation for the loss of connection. I'D GIVE THIS COMPANY A ZERO IF I COULD. Will also contact Trustpilot,and the **** THESE LIFELINE companies are just ripping off American seniors while providing substandard products that 3rd world countries would be embarrassed to have.

      On 4/26/24 a rep came through my building soliciting Free phones with a one year Prime membership for $1/mo ($12), which I paid via CashApp. However, on 5/3/24, I contacted them to inquire about receiving a card to use for discounts, benefits & sales that are offered with Prime, only to be told that the promotion no longer exists & hadnt been since Feb. When asked about the $12, he blatantly said youve just lost it. This is a form of elder abuse & taking advantage of the elderly (I reside in a senior facility); so, it stands to reason that others were taken advantage of also. THIS IS DEFINITELY A SCAM! Ive written a letter to the company in ***********, but Im sure they already know they have unfair practices.

      I honestly do not think there is a customer service that is worse than **********************. I have purchased a tablet as well as a phone both malfunctioned and then they still wanted me to buy new ones. Refused to honor a warranty and then won't send emails with any additional information.If you are considering this company please don't.

      I did everything and was approved I got a confirmation number. Never got a phone. They emailed 2 weeks later and said this is your phone number. Im like for what I never got a phone. Contacted them to resolve the issue. At the customer service they never got back to me. It's been to months no phone no service wondering if they are still billing the government for the free phone and service I never received. I read the trustpilot reviews all the 5 star reviews sounded way to technical to be real from someone that needed and qualified for a free phone bad by the government.

      A salesperson knocked on my door and offered to update my lifeline service. He also offered a free tablet to go with it. I provided him with the necessary information to update the service. Later, he informed me that to receive the free tablet, I would need to transfer my ACP benefit over to TruConnect. I declined the offer and asked him to keep the tablet. He agreed and left. However, I later found out that my ACP benefit had been transferred to TruConnect without my consent. I contacted TruConnect's customer service and spoke with multiple agents and supervisors over a few weeks, but they were unable to restore my ACP benefit to my original service account. Their only suggestion was for me to go online and take advantage of a $10.01 offer for the same tablet that was originally offered for free." WARNING WARNING STAY AWAY FROM TruConnect "

      Bad service. Charged $20 and they said they didnt take the money from the bank right away. They also lied and said I didnt apply for lifeline. The tablet sent is low quality. **************** will argue with you. This is a total scam company.

      I enrolled with TrueConnect through the *** program. The TrueConnect offer stated that I would receive a free phone and a tablet for $10.01. but that it wouldn't come out of my bank account right then. When I checked my bank account, the $10.01 has come out of my account. But I never received a tablet or a phone. Then when I contacted customer service they tried to tell me that I don't have an account with them and tried to rush me off the phone. So I requested to speak with the supervisor. The supervisor was also trying to tell me that I didn't have an account and after about 5 minutes she finally found my account number and then she tried to tell me well we don't have anything with you we don't have any application we don't have anything with you so I'm like well then why did you charge my account $10.01 and then I'm telling her I want my money back because I can prove that TrueConnect had taken the $10.01 from my bank account. So after she argued with me about me not having anything with them I guess she looked up refunds and then she said she did find information on a refund and so she escalated it and then told me that I would receive a call from them regarding my refund and she gave me a case#. So I am not happy with them at all and I will never apply with them or any of those phone internet providers that are connected with ***.
