  Fraud/scammers, phishing for people's personal info. I got an email about signing up for Truconnect, which I never did. I called and spoke to a customer service rep, and asked them to cancel the fraudulent account. The idiot woman I spoke to didn't speak great english, and kept insisting that I give her my birthday to verify the account so she could cancel it. I told her I'm not giving out my birthday, when the person who signed up for the account probably used a different date than my actual birthday to begin with. I sent them an email and am still waiting for them to cancel the account. Lack of common sense in people is one thing, but I get the sense that these people are phishing for people's personal info. Such people are scum of the earth.

  If I could give them 0 stars I would. I dont even have service with these idiots but somehow a customer has fraudulently used my email account to set up an account for themselves. I call to have them remove my email and they tell me I have to send an email requesting that they remove my email from the fraudulent account. Why didnt they verify the email with the jerk that set up the account? Instead, I have to do all the work. This company is AWFUL

  I am literally unable to cancel my lifeline service with them. My phone was damaged and I can only reach them via using the library computer via wifi email. **************** never answers the phone anyway when I did have a working phone. When I contact them via email they said contact customer service via phone. I just want to cancel my service but they will not let that happen. Also, they are going against federal law because you are supposed to use your lifeline service once a month (FEDERAL LAW...which btw, they keep reminding me of via email) but obviously I haven't been able to do that for OVER a month because of the damaged phone. Horrible company and unsure what to do now.

  I joined Truconnect in hopes of a free phone. That's what it said.One month or two later my phone didn't work.I called them up and they told me I was out of data.I was supposed to have unlimited phone and messages and data and i told them that.the guy asked if i wanted to top up.I said no.Then he asked if i wanted a phone with more data.I bought the phone he was talking about.when it didn't arrive he called me saying that the phone was out of stock and asked me if they could send me a different phone for $43.I said yes.When it came I was ******.They sent me a phone identical to the original free phone.I was scammed.And they keep trying to get me to top up when its supposed to be free.I am poor that's why I signed up for a **************** phone.I could go somewhere else and pay for service.They take advantage of the disabled.

  Absolute garbage customer service. It takes at least 30 minutes of being put on hold before speaking to a live person. Once you speak to a Truconnect customer service representative, you discover that they are not knowledgeable, uncaring, rude, ill mannered, and will HANG UP ON YOU.

  I would rate these scammers 0+. The only way they got 1 star is bc BBB does not start with 0! This is the second time a Lieconnect rep has taken money from me. I am living next door to poor! The first time one of these scammers got me to pay $22 dollars for a tablet and the connect fee which got cut off the next week. The Amazon prime that was promised lasted 2 weeks as well. As I was watching a prime movie "CLICK" it went off. They sent me an email immediately, saying your prime subcription os nonlonger active. Then offered me to buy it. I believe Amazon is in on this scamming !! I called them and they said we don't know why! Then here I go again, seeing 3 playful lil girls standing in front of a Family Dollar Store..not working..playing n jamming music! I went over there to tell them what I endured with them. Here goes the black girl named DD.. the other two were Hispanic chicks, they never tried to make a sale at all. I guess they knew it was a lie and said let this dummy take the fire! She promised a year of Amazon prime against ?????? then said I will give u my personal phone number to contact me if u have anyyyyy problems. I signed into Amazon via the new phone. GUESS WHAT? it said, your account does NOT have Amazon Prime. Therefore, I started texting the lil liar, GUESS WHAT? She blocked my phone!!! She took my money and sold me lies! DO NOT EVER EVER EVER GIVE THESE PEOPLE A COPPER *****!! SOON AS THEY ***** TALKING CUT THEM OFF ASAP!!! BBB, these ppl have been ripping ppl off. Please investigate and do not believe them. This happened to me in ****** *****...on ************!!! I will be calling them in the a.m. I will be posting to every social media about them! Stop taking from the poor!! God will repay this company!

  In Manhattan **, the Truconnect employee(s) used my personal information after not accepting the free cellphone, that I qualified for. The next day the employee(s) fraudulently created a Pin number and email address, in order to, activate a cell phone that I never received.OFFICIAL reports was made to the Police, the *** and Truconnect *** because of this cellphone fraud.DEFINITELY A H*** NO..

  I think it's fake ,had my phone for 2 months ,then my service was cut off and they said they can't find my number or email ,said I needed to connect to a wireless net work to use my phone ,but I am on a wireless net work and still can't use my phone,to bad there's not a o rating,bbb needs to check better on this company.

  This is for truconnect and this company lies to you. They lie to you so you will retain their services. Be wary of truconnect, they are not honest with you. A man named ******* came to my apartment yesterday to explain about the service. I told him I had a phone service that used the acp benefit. He assured me that the new phone is free and doesn't use the acp benefit. I found out today that the new service with your company has acquired the acp benefit.This is a bad sale to me. I now have to fix this problem and it is very inconvenient for me. I am disgusted with truconnect.

  I have has the pleasure of meeting 2 of truconnect agents.**** and *************These 2 young men. Help me out with my problem.They where very professional,with a outstanding attitude.And I truly appreciate there help.So thanks again **** and *************I just hope truconnect know these 2 young men are a asset to the company.
