      I had the same problem with them, only I DID pay for a phone, TO BAD THEY ARE STILLLL IN BUSINESS!

      TruConnect sent me a sim card that would not work with my phone, so they attempted repeatedly to sell me a phone that was compatible. This company is extremely sketchy and should be investigated for possible criminal activities.

      Well if you think calling the phone number they gave you while waiting for the phone to be delivered and leaving a message on it to come home soon , that ought to give you some idea about this group.

      I would give them zero stars if i could. Was approved for a free phone and confirmed it was shipped and I received a sim card. I am unable to work and the ************** sent me to them to get a free phone. My case worker even confirmed it was a phone when i told them about the sim card. My case worker was there when i made the order she saw phon. I contacted their customer service but they were SOOO slow and rude and tried to SELL ME A PHONE FOR $125 or so absolutely despicable. AVOID AT ALL COSTS AND DONT BELIEVE ANY OF THOSE VIDEOS PRAISING THEM. They are a scam pure and simple.

      I just chatted with TruConnect and was not able to get any answers to the questions that I had. I repeatedly asked for a supervisor and was disconnected.

      I purchase a hotspot for $64.64 for a Lifeline contract, never received the product. Reveived a cell phone I never ordered. Was told to pay shipping for a return on a product I did not purchase. Received multiple case numbers. I reported the issue to Lifeline and was left on hold for what is now six hours and still waiting. This company should be shut down permanently!!!

      Worst lifeline service ever. Cut off after a week. Then no ?? me would return my messages ??

      Don't trust them. They took money out of my account even tho I wasn't approved and told me my account was not active, but my bank tell me different..

      I signed up with Truconnect online and after "approval" they took my cell phone service off of my current Lifeline phone and I will not receive a phone for 7 to 10 days. They get no stars, but this doesn't post unless I put something.

      Truconnect phones are frauds I hit the website and filled out the forms for a Cell phone and Truconnect sent me a Hotspot that I cant use at all.I have emails and tried to talk to the customer service person and I was harassed and downgraded.I sent many emails and got no response.Dont trust them at all.I had to file a complaint with the *** for false advertising.
