I wish I'd never subscribed to Thrive Market, but I got suckered in by a glowing article in the NYTimes. I hoped it would be a good alternative to my Whole Foods addiction, but I ended up being disappointed by
1) the quality of shipping. Items regularly came broken/crushed/cracked/stale.
2) the inventory which was regularly out of stock
3) the prices which routinely ran higher than Target, Costco or Whole Foods. By as little as $0.50 and up to $5.00.
When I tried to cancel my auto-renewing membership, it didn't go through and renewed at $59.95 for another year!! I even got email confirmation of my cancelation, but they charged me for another year!Thrive Market, Inc.

After ordering some items I noticed an unauthorized charge from Thrive Market that I had to report and they offered to reduce the charge and give me a coupon! For something I didn’t order or authorize. Would not use this site.Thrive Market, Inc.

A great business model for making new members and getting sales,of that. Placed order and order delivered, not unique items, Aldi has some same items and better prices and they are local. The problem I had is they auto ship the prior order when I cleared out all auto ships and cart and was told that even doing that doesn't stop the auto shipments. So I canceled within the 30 days of delivery of the first order and they refused to give a refund. They also sent a second order even though I removed all items from auto ship. They said I could get a full refund on that order and they don't provided a return shipping label so I am stuck with a duplicate order, out the membership fee Do not join you will regret the cost of membership and the discount is nothing compared to trader joe, Aldi, etc.... you are wasting your money .Thrive Market, Inc.

Dishonest about their membership, cancellation and their customer service is the worst. I am shock to see this business still in business with all the complaints from Facebook, Google, and other rating sites from customers, including me. They even steal reviews! Don't believe me? What a scam!! They don't even let you browse the items with paying a membership fee so I was stupid enough to sign up for a month to see if it was worth it, mind you when I was signing up it said that it is totally refundable if you're not happy in 30 days. People who actually take organic and non toxic food seriously know to read ingredients and know how some of the worst ones are made and why they're not to be consumed and their products still contain them (like canola oil for example) while they claim to be non toxic and organic! Such poor customer service- I reached out to cancel my subscription and asked for a refund and was denied because that apparently only applied to an annual membership, what a scam...I can't imagine how much money they make from people just signing up and quitting simply because it's non refundable. I hate that it's so easy for companies like this to just rip people off while claiming to be something they're not. I also mentioned the ingredients to them and they completely ignored it:)Thrive Market, Inc.

I was a loyal customer for SEVEN years, however I stopped using the marketplace when I realized the discounts were not as good as they initially appeared to be. My membership auto-renewed and I didn't see the charge in my bank account. If I had i would have immediately called Thrive to get a refund. I didn't use my membership at all in the past four months and requested a full refund because I didn't realize I had been charged until now. They refused to give me a refund even though I hadn't once utilized the website during my renewal period. Thrive Market stole $** from me. Awful customer service especially after I have purchased from this company for seven years! They should be ashamed. No integrity or morals.Thrive Market, Inc.

Took me 20 minutes to cancel my membership through their "chat". I have 6 months left in the year membership and they don't offer "prorated reimbursement at this time". Multiple times I would remove all of the auto ship items and they would appear back on my account just in time to ship a box. They say their prices are better, but that is absolutely not true. If you have a company based on low prices, etc and someone is not happy, they should be entitled to a reimbursement of services not rendered... I won't be using their services for the remainder of my annual membership, but they are sure happy to keep my money regardless.Thrive Market, Inc.

Forced me to purchase an annual subscription to even see the pricing and then made it impossible to cancel without reaching out to an agent. I made one purchase the first day, never used it again and tried to cancel online but by the time I remembered to actually contact an agent to cancel they said they wouldn't refund because it was passed ** days (maybe 45 days total). But I never used the subscription other than the very first day. They told me "go ahead and leave bad reviews and dispute the charge"Thrive Market, Inc.
