I signed up for membership, which included a 30-day trial period. Within the ***** 30 days, I knew I would place orders often enough to justify the membership fee, so looked to cancel membership. At this pount, the chat bot offered me different discount options on my next order to give Thrive Market another try (+ I could still cancel after that, if I'd wanted). I finally took up their offer, and placed a second order. The problem is, Ii haven't even consumed my first order, my second box is still sutting by the front door, unopened. Now, I go to cance membership, and because it has been more than 30 days (which we knew it would be, when the first chatbot and me were chatting), I won't get my membership fee back. Why offer a discount to "try" them, when you know that's a dishonest way to ensure folks cross the 30-day trial period. Now, I get a - you knew what you signed up for - attitude from member services. And they've decided to stop answering me on chat. Why have a trial period, when it isn't really a trial, and you're going to charge us for stuff I can get at my grocery store?Thrive Market, Inc.

i just had the worst experience dealing with Thrive Market. I purchased a gift card for my son's birthday. After I did that, I got a message saying he couldn't use the gift card unless he has to have a gift membership - so I bought him a gift membership - which cost more than the gift card! So now he has a gift card code to enter to use the gift card. Then I get a message they renewed MY membership - which I did not ask them to do. My son could not get the gift card to work so I started corresponding with the chat at Thrive Market. They kept sending me chat messages advising how to use the gift card but none of the directions they gave me worked (I emailed them to my son). The whole essence of this conversation is that I am thoroughly annoyed with how they treated me telling me, after I asked 6 times for a refund, they cannot refund gift cards or gift memberships. They did however, cancel MY membership! Then...they sent my son another email message this time not only did the gift card code appear - now he has a gift membership code which he had not received when I bought the gift membership. It still didn't work! I called my *********** credit card and advised them of the situation and asked them to resolve this by cancelling everything and refunding my money. As I stated before, Thrive Market did cancel my membership but I have not seen any refund for the gift card and membership. I will no longer deal with Thrive Market and I will tell my friends not to use them as well!Thrive Market, Inc.

Scam. Was interested in ordering healthy groceries. Prompted to set up your account then noticed flags that this is a scam so i immediately logged out of the site. I did not complete an order or sign up fur a membership but they charged my card. The website is deceptive and when you call it gets even worse. They claim they cant find your email or account and they ask for your credit card info over the phone. I refused to give my card info to an overseas scam and they said they would not refund me and to dispute it with my bank. I informed them of the lawsuits I saw online and they blatantly ask for my credit card information numerous times and told me they would not attempt to assist me without it.Thrive Market, Inc.

I was swindled into a membership that I never used. I tried to use it, but ultimately didn't like the products offered. None of the auto-populated products (from asking you a bunch of questions) were actually a match for me. I tried to cancel, and their aggressive sales tactics persuaded me to try again. I never did, because ultimately free money they offer you means nothing if you don't like their products offered. Then I forgot about the membership during the whole summer, so I passed the 30 day refund window. They have refused to fully refund me, even though I never used the subscription, I never placed any orders, and I never received anything for free. So, I have basically been scammed out of money.Thrive Market, Inc.

Thrive Market is a Phising SCAM!!! When you first download that app everything about the experience seems "normal". They ask you about your diet, food, and health preferences etc. Giving the sense that they're going to give food suggestions based on your preferences.After you get the pop *** for the membership (of course they want you to subscribe to their yearly membership) which is very vague in telling you plainly how much a year it will cost up front. They do tell you a monthly subscription is $12.00. I chose the monthly b/c it was a safer (so. It seemed). After subscribing and putting in our card info I noticed some red flags right away: 1.) They subscribe you instantly to autoshipments of orders without you asking to be subbed into it and before you even start see their items. They also (before you even look at products) have you choose a day that your thrive box will come to you monthly. 2.) They make a cart of food items for you (all of it random senseless junk that has nothing to do with your food preferences). If you don't pay attention (THIS) is what will ship to you on a monthly reoccurring basis at $125+. If you try to delete these food items (some how) they pop back into your cart with the food you did pick out - which BTW are very limited options once you do get to look around. 4.) I decided to cancel my sub after searching for basic items that they just didn't have, this happend over and over. When I went to cancel my membership the bot (Olive) kept trying to avoid my requests and convince me to stay. Then, I find out that I'm not getting my money back for my subscription thst I just subscribed to and they're trying to charge me for the following month as well. So, I checked Reddit. They have bad reviews!!! I tried to removed my card - can't. Ppl are getting charged $300-400 from hackers using their Thrive accts. I tried to completely delete my acct and personal info - can't. I do not trust this company and want my *********** deleted fully!Thrive Market, Inc.

If you want to use your ebt it won't let you use all of it. Yes you can use ebt but go to check ourlt and you have a maximum cost of food let's say it's $80 and you go to the next screen it will only let you pay some of that $80Thrive Market, Inc.

Impossible to cancel not matter what you do. I've chatted emailed many times nothing. I've been told by one of the customer service people they couldn't delete my account. Keep in mind I've never bought from them just simply made account and then realized I wanted nothing to do with it. Now my account has been compromised and even though I've told them of this issue they still refuse to simply delete my account.Thrive Market, Inc.

The customer service chat, phone and text are AI based and trained to maintain your membership no matter what reason you have to cancel it. I moved to ******, where they do not ship and it took me 5 days of calling, emailing etc to finally get a person who would actually cancel the membership.Thrive Market, Inc.
