In the initial years, around 2018, my experience with the complex was positive. Maintenance was prompt, and the staff was consistently friendly. However, as time progressed into 2021, the situation took a downturn. The complex's gates were perpetually out of order, causing inconvenience when entering or leaving.Furthermore, the maintenance response time became notably sluggish, at times stretching beyond a week. Contacting staff members often proved to be a challenge, as they appeared to be frequently unavailable.A particularly frustrating incident occurred as I prepared to move out. I received a notification claiming my autopay had been rejected, despite my bank asserting that no such attempt was made. Seeking guidance from the complex, I was advised to make the payment again to avoid a potential late fee, with a firm assurance that I would not be charged twice. This was in direct contradiction to a warning on the apartment website indicating the possibility of dual charges.Regrettably, I ended up being billed twice on the same day. Upon seeking a refund, I was informed it could only be processed after my move-out, as it would be tied to my security deposit. In compliance, I patiently awaited the return of my security deposit.Initially, I was advised to expect the breakdown of charges within 14 days, but this deadline was subsequently extended to 7 more days, then another 7, and then an additional 14. After what felt like an extended wait, I finally received my security deposit. However, despite my persistent effortscalling the office daily for an extended periodI have yet to receive a detailed breakdown of the charges incurred during my move-out, despite having been billed for them.

I just started renting a Cedar Place, Apartments the smoke alarms go off because of the dryer! The Fan in the bathroom, was unplugged. The dryer is from ****s and they claim to be luxury. Any minor issue they make a big deal out of it, and claim that I am being harsh when it is sometimes issues about safety, and when I read, you are blatantly, disregarding your tenants safety, they contact me maliciously and tell me I do not like that tone. We were not able to move in until 18 September 2023, due to safety issues that the office claimed that was a part of the door that was manufactured with, and that was a drywall anchor, holding in the lock of the sliding glass door. Also causing is stabbing hazard. I would not recommend a Cedar Place, Apartments in ********, ********. On our website state that theres pet friendly, and in the lease it says a very vague statement. unless under state or local laws permits no animals. so what does that even mean? Multiple items in the apartment are falling apart or filthy when we were initially got the good to go by the manager ***** to move in on the eighth of September 2023 but again we had to move into the apartment at 18 September 2023 and we shouldve received a prorated amount to the date that we had to wait until, because of safety and other issues that would cause harm.

Very Unreasonable. i've been living in one of their properties for 3 years, every year they increase in 10% for renewal. in this 3rd year my rent will go up to $2.300/month, considering the exact same property, floor plan and location its $1950.00 with a extra bonus of $1000 for new owners. When i ask for a reason to charge me 20% more than a new owner they say its the policy, and even if i try to apply for another appartment in the same complex they say i couldn't do it or i'll have to pay a transfer fee + a lot of other fees. They could even give me a good reason for that.Unreasonable.

Horrible company. Filed a complaint to the ******** Attorney General for mismanagement at **************.The pedestrian door to the garage has been broken for months. We keep hearing it 'will be fixed soon'. Once again a car got its wheels stolen in the night between Sept 21 and 22 2023.Ridiculous.

If I could give 0 stars I would. This company took over the complex from the previous management group The ******** group. Every since the change over things around the complex have went downhill. Our apartment floor has filed multiple complaints regarding awful stenches and SEVERE LACK of trash pickup. We can't even drop off our trash at the end of the hall like we did previously with the old owners. It has been over a week and still no pickup. We have filed multiple complaints with no response. Many people that live in the complex have dogs and there aren't any bags at ANY of the stations so dog p*** is literally everywhere. Like what in the world, seriously!! For the amount of money we pay each month the lack of service is ridiculous. We have attempted to contact Two Coast Living and have been hung up on immediately. This is a joke and if they wish to continue to have new residents this management group will need to do something. Especially considering the amount of new complexes being built within the area. Residents have even discouraged people looking into moving into the complex and will continue to do so until there is a resolution that is consistent. One last item to add to this complaint is the coffee room, as soon as these jokers took over the complex they replaced the coffee machine with a regular size Keurig machine and no coffee or ******* is EVER AVAILABLE. Multiple neighbors have seen someone literally spit inside the water resivor. You want to promote a coffee room, well we can tell you first hand that there isn't one. If you are considering moving into a complex owned by Two Coast living/Jrk property holdings, DON'T! Look somewhere else.

The most atrocious company I have ever worked with. Zero stars. Unresponsive. Dismissive. Dont care that their slum-like apartments need massive work. Mold issues. Rust issues. Doors broken. Greasy appliances. We havent even moved my parents in because of the mold. They are staying in a hotel. There have been 4 managers so far in 2 weeks. They keep quitting. And we understand why. The apartment wasnt even cleaned before the move in. We have hired a lawyer and will seek all damages - including punitive. Stay far away from this company.

Prefacing this with I am the guarantor for the lease, with 100% on time payments and professional clean done before move in and after move out: self funded 2 units. We began a lease here march 2019 at 1375/month. ******* utilities, parking, taxes, fees) At some point it went up to 1520/month With some variability ******* utilities, parking, taxes, fees) In 2022 it went to 1740-1800 /month with some variability We moved units August 2022 due to significant rent increases scheduled with the existing, non renovated unit, to downsize which was targeted to increase to $2200/2300 The smaller apartment -to save a few hundred and to be housed in a renovated unit was leased at $2050 before fees 3 August 2023 The move required again, proof of income (for an existing tenant) a new deposit (**** vs 300) with 700 and 300 respectively retained by the property at move out) Now the New unit- 2 week delay in move in due to cleanliness (gnats, black mold, corrosion) which I clearly documented with move in as well as photos, and self funded cleaning due to non response. Old unit -cleaned impeccably (better than the move in) yet deposit was kept by leasing company. New unit - left Aug 2023 and again, impeccably cleaned ~ 500 of **** partial return of deposit with no itemization. (place was cleaned - better condition than move in per photos taken a year ago) Even with downsizing (new contract) the base rent went up 50% over the 3 years. I also know it was going up again this year. It would be more had we stayed in the larger unit. Reviews show this to be a systemic theme at 909 West and deserves a class action review. 2500$ lost in the deposits, self clean fees Paid, and delays of move in. All communications to the property are documented and no responses are the norm so resorted to this only after we are free and clear of the move out. **** P and other reviews are also spot on. Add a few hundred to the cost for water-trash-Cam fees etc.

If I could give a lower than 1 star rating I would. The parent company that runs the smaller apartments do not care about their *********************************** employees that harass their tenants and use information from the tenants to harass them further on social media. This company is a real piece of work.Check the reviews on the properties you own.

Lease renewal is price gouging at its finest, their extra fees are also insane, they say the fees are 25 to 50 a month extra, that is not true. You have your rent, then a cam fee, and then extra fees that average an extra 130 a month, I heard they raised the cam fee to 74. So, whatever your rent is add an extra 200 or so a month for their extra fees and you pay for parking and don't have a designated spot. The whole renewal was eye opening and a massive disappointment, senior management can't take the time to respond to questions about price gouging current residents at renewal time, it's disgusting how they treat the renewal process and the greed they exhibit. I heard they do corporate leases and wondering if they actually do background checks on all the people that stay in them, so be cautious of that. After reading some of the reviews I am questioning why this company is not under investigation for many things....they need to be! This company needs to clean house from the top to the bottom and quickly!
