1 starWorst place to live. They stay open til 7pm but have the doors locked. Lady working closed the door in my face when i tried to go into the office because they refuse to answer the phone when you call and leave message. Been waiting for a screen for my window since i moved in 3 months ago. They still havent fixed my door buzzer. There are rats everywhere. They charge a ridiculous amount of money to live here. I am looking into my rights as a renter, because they shouldnt be paid money until they can fix the problems that you have spoken to them about since you moved in. If i could put zero stars i would.Review fromAlicia N.

My apartment within this property management company flooded and the property was not proactive in ensuring the issue was permanently fixed. Since the water was sitting in the apartment carpet for more than 48 hours, I asked for them to check for mold. The response was that they would dry it out, which does resolve the mold issue. After about a week, I mailed official letters asking for either the carpet to be replaced and the unit checked for mold, a different unit within the complex, or out of the lease. They offered a different unit (although I was told I would have to pay more as it was a more expensive floorplan) or out of the lease. Throughout this experience, I tried to get in touch with the Two Coast Living to learn about their reimbursement process for hotel stays while the apartment was inhabitable, moving units, prompting action about checking for mold and struggled to reach a contact. When I initially called Two Coast Living, I was directed to a phone number which gave the recording that the number was "no longer monitored." I called again and was led to their automated directory. There, I guessed a name and got in touch with a person on their purchasing team. They gave me an email which ended up returning an automatic reply which said the email address was "no longer monitored." I ended up asking my property's community managers for an email contact of a Two Coast Living supervisor. They did provide me with one.Other than the flooding and mold remediation avoidance, it was an average living experience. Although, they may have mold that they ignore confronting and removing which is a significant health concern, and getting in contact with a person from the property management company, Two Coast Living (or JRK) is extremely difficult. Two Coast Living

1 starBe aware when you move into ***********************, and make sure you look at the unit first before moving in. We were moved into a unit that had a leak coming from the main water line in the unit above **, they had to tear out kitchen wall apart to treat moldy wood and did a horrible dry wall job that took one day. We also have a rotted deck and they have to tear apart the deck in the unit above us and they moved someone into that unit and they had no idea what was happening. Cheap repairs for short term remedies is how they take care of thier renters and ********** too much for apartments in bad condition. Be aware read the reviews before you pick this place as a home.Review fromAngelina S

1 starAWFUL experience at every *********** STARS When we signed our lease we were told we would be on the first floor, we were on the 3rd.Multiple issues with water and matinance during our lease.Upon move out we were charged multiple times for the same thing. They also made ** pay for cleaners with a check before moving out then deducted that amount from our security deposit we were owed back. They also double charged ** for all utilities for the last month that we already paid and deducted them from our security deposit we were owed. When we contacted them about this they ignored our calls, emails and letters. They have still not called me back.I am extremely disappointed that i am being robbed.Review fromMonique N

1 starI applied online which requires to pay deposit right away even if you do not get approved making it difficult to back out or get your money back if you needed to. I was emailed a unit avail and a date to move in. I waited 4 months to get keys. The day prior to the move in the unit was still not ready. I was told to still come in to sign papers. I noticed right away I was placed in a unit that did not match the pics online and was not offered a tour prior to signing the lease or a different unit. The unit was filthy. They painted the outside door but that was about it. All cabinets have scratches and old paint chipping, bugs around baseboards, patio screen that falls off track, broken blinds that fall when you open them up, cracks on the walls, windows that do not open (safety hazard) front door that does not close or lock all the way (extreme safety concern), broken dryer, broken closet fixtures, crappy patch jobs, leaking toilet, scratches on floor and for what were paying its highway robbery. These are not luxury apartments. In first 2 months I have had 10 work orders they partially fixed but not completely resolved. They half assd it to show they did something but not really. Several issues are still not resolved. I have had packages stolen, loud neighbors upstairs, including their dogs, running around all hours of the night making it very difficult to sleep and or work from home. Neighbors that try to sells me items which are known to be stolen. This is unacceptably and unprofessional of the apartments to not do anything for its tenants. To break the lease requires 60 day notice plus 2 additional months rent.thats $5k!!!!! What!!! Really!!! Why is it that I have to go through all of this and cost me money for their mistakes and maintenance work. Thats not fair at all. The staff turnover has made it very difficult to get things resolved. They are not doing anything to help something should be done because its just not fair. People are not made of money!Review fromSherry C

1 starWe are trying to get our deposit back. Never signed a lease. Never even moved in. We filled out an application online and submitted the deposit only to wait for three months for an apartment to become available at the ******************** in ***, ** on *******************. The apartment they showed ** was filthy, the baseboards were so scratched/scraped up, no door covering the heater (isn't that a hazard?), the bathtub had black stains and specks. Office Staff had the worst customer service. They never return calls. ******** in the office said they could not give our deposit back because they had an apartment open for us but we declined their filthy apartment so we were not eligible to receive the deposit back because they had an open apartment for us. I'm so disgusted! Don't ever do business here! I guess we will have to file in court against them. I would not even give them 1 star but I had to before it would let me leave my comment.Review fromMekisha S

1 starIf there was a way to give 0 stars or even negative numbers, I would. Park Place of Northvile who are now managed by this company is horrible to the tenth power. First, the management team are extremely rude and show no empathy to resident's concerns/issues/complaints. The leasing manger; ***************** is the epitome of rudeness. For the most part, residents just want to be heard, or made that they are being listened too without someone immediately spitting lies out their mouth to shut the resident up. Lastly, the maintenance crew are horrible. Work orders are placed by residents, and the maintenance man close out the ticket stating complete without coming to fix the problem or even addressing it. I've been without Hot running water for 4 days, which is totally unacceptable! I've submitted multiple work orders, as well as I physically went into the leasing office to make a complaint, and nothing. The on-call maintenance guy calls me back on day 2 & voiced my issue did not constitute as an emergency, and now here I am at Day 4 with NO RUNNING HOT WATER! I think it's now time to get the courts involved!Review fromJade H

1 starThis place is very far from luxury, if I could give it 0 stars I would. The apartment they showed me before the move it was beautiful, and clean. But the apartment I moved into was anything but.The apartment was not cleaned properly before my move in, it was absolutely disgusting and I had to clean it myself just to feel comfortable moving my things in. On top of that, these apartments are falling apart. When I moved in there were so many things broken or unusable, ceiling fans, AC, washing machine, windows, lights, you name it. (I will add these problems are still not fixed) Their renovations are extremely low quality and poorly installed. After they fixed my washer it still did not run right and I had to argue and fight with the manager just to get them to come take another look at it. They still have not fixed it after more than a month. Not sure why I am paying for an apartment that has in unit washer and dryer when I cant even use them. The manager here, ****, is absolutely terrible and should not be working with the public. She is not only extremely rude and condescending, but the least helpful person in the office. She is out of the office all the time, and when she is there she is useless. She has the same generic answer every time about when repairs will be done hopefully by the end of the week, which is never accurate. She is argumentative and doesnt want to listen to anything you have to say when you try to express your concerns. There is only one dumpster for the entire complex and it turns into a mountain of trash when full. I have seen RATS running around outside my building because of this disgusting garbage pile. There has also been a dead rat smashed on the ground in the parking lot for about a week now. This is one of the most poorly managed complexes I have ever lived in. They are very good at making things appear better than they are.
