I used to work with WIX.com to handle my website. But 2 years ago I ATTEMPTED to cancel my account. There was no address for the company, there was no phone number to call.I "clicked" on CANCEL. They never sent me anything. A few weeks ago they charged me AGAIN $324 even though I cancelled my account more than 2 years ago. The money was TAKEN out of my bank account yesterday. I was told by the bank fraud ***** that this will be an AUTO payment and ill be taken from my bank account EVERY YEAR. I have nothing to do with this company since 2 years ago. This is a CRIME. Even though I cancelled my account 2 years ago, he JUST TOOK THE MONEY from my bank account. I was told by my bank that this is being treated as A DISPUTE. But *** has my money. We had a web designer design a website for our organization and were told that he needs WIX.COM service to do that. We paid $270 3 years ago, thinking it is a one time charge. Last week (April 21, 2025) *** charged us $756 without our permission stating this is a recurrent charge every 3 years! I tried calling the phone number specified on their website - it only has a pre-recorded message that all disputes should be via wix.com/contact. This link also has no live person but an AI agent that doesn't provide any kind of help! The company is apparently based in ****** and any attempts to resolve any issues with this company lead to nowhere. I called my bank to start a dispute regarding the renewal charge but they said if they can't get hold of merchant, there is not much they can do except canceling my credit card so the merchant doesn't do any other future charges.This is not how a reliable company operates in ** - If anyone thinks about web site design, please do your research and avoid questionable companies like WIX.COM because you won't be able to get any help if you hit a problem!Customer Answer

I am filing this complaint regarding Wix.com, Inc. for repeated, unreasonable delays in releasing funds from my Wix Payments account, despite full compliance with all requested verification steps.On April 16, 2025, Wix notified me that my account had been temporarily suspended pending a verification review. I promptly submitted all requested documentation, including my government-issued ID, LLC formation documents, proof of services rendered, business description, and paid client invoices well within their stated 3-day deadline.Despite acknowledging receipt of my documentation and labeling my case a "priority," Wix has since:Failed to reactivate my account Continued to hold my earned business funds without justification Repeatedly moved the goalposts by requesting additional, unnecessary information (such as social media links, client reviews, and advertising strategies none of which were originally requested)Delayed communication without offering meaningful solutions Neglected to provide any clear timeline for resolution I believe Wix is intentionally withholding funds and obstructing access to my account under the pretense of prolonged "compliance verification," which I view as unethical and potentially fraudulent business behavior.Desired Resolution:Immediate release of all funds owed to me Full refund of any fees charged to my account during this period Assistance transferring my domain away from Wix without penalty Immediate cancellation of any active Wix subscriptions tied to my account I respectfully request urgent intervention to resolve this matter. Complaint Title:Wix.com Suspended My Account and Withheld My Payout Without Justification Complaint Description:Wix.com suspended my account on the very same day I was supposed to receive my payout. I had done nothing wrong, and there was no prior warning, explanation, or communication regarding any issue with my account. My account is now inaccessibleI can't log in, view my dashboard, or take any action.I earned funds legitimately through their platform, and I am simply requesting that my pending payouts be sent to me. I am the owner of a courier business that has been a loyal customer of ********************** for over four years. We have consistently utilized ***'s platform and services, specifically their Pay Links feature, which we rely on to securely collect payments from drivers for background checks. Up until recently, *** has processed and paid out funds without issue.However, on December 30, Wix made a unilateral decision to refund a payment totaling $439.92 without any prior authorization or communication with my company. This action was taken without cause and directly impacted my business operations , resulting in a financial loss and damage to our relationship with contracted drivers.On April 22, I contacted *** support and spoke with a representative named ****, who confirmed that the funds could not be recoveredeven though all documentation requested by *** to resolve the matter was submitted in full. Despite our compliance, no resolution or reasonable explanation has been provided.We are formally requesting an immediate remedy to this situation. Wix's actions were not only unauthorized but also lacked transparency and due process, causing avoidable harm to our small business. I canceled the Wix Premium Subscription plan for the website "**************" back in November 2024, as you can clearly see in the documentation I provided. However, *** has continued to charge my card month after month since then, and regardless of all attempts, I have been unable to get in touch with anyone in the company to get this issue resolved. The contact information shown on their website is basically a digital wall that only gives users the runaround, so that you are never able to talk to a person or get them to stop billing you and continually charging your card month-to-month for a website that you canceled 6 months ago! Users are only able to talk to the virtual chat assistant, and even at that, users are unable to upload documents to the chat to authenticate any of their claims.Initial Complaint

I use *** to build my company website. *** offers an *** called "Get Donations". I downloaded the *** and it told me to upgrade to a premium and paid plan for full features, including 24/7 *** support. There is no support for this *** and I believe that is very misleading. Additionally, *** has told me they can't help me with the *** and I need to contact the *** developer which is Big Spark ***s. I was going to purchase a website through Wix.com. I decided it was not the right website hosting for me. I canceled within the same day. I was promised that my money would be refunded. One charge is ***** and that charge as cleared my checking account and the other amount ***** is still pending, I have an email stating that the ***** payment should not go through. The reason that I decided not to go with this web hosting, I could not figure out what to do any thing. I used this web hosting years ago and it was a lot easier to use, however it was not easier to use. All I want is my money back for *****. I purchased an e-commerce package from them in January was allowed to process a few transactions and now they have stopped payment processing. I have submitted all my NYS documents and paperwork requested and they still say I can't use the payment processing so than the site is not needed. I have contacted Wix three times now over a fraudulent charge on my credit card. They will not help determine what the charge was for or help cancel the charge.
