*** has asked me to provide specific IRS documentation in order to receive payouts. They have confirmed on multiple occasions that I have indeed provided the correct documents (both verbally on the phone and in writing via email). Yet they are continuing to refuse payouts. I continuously call them and they continuously tell me that everything is in order. I have had at least 7 phone calls with them, including with a supervisor named ******, and at least 4 email chains dating back at least to December 9th 2024. This has been going on for weeks now. I have had I believe at this point they have no intention on releasing the payouts and are actually intent on stealing over $12,000 from me.

They have charged me an annual fee for the past three years for a service I did not agree to or even sign up for. They took money out of my account without approval and I want them to refund all the money they stole from me.

I signed up for *** to build a website, purchased a 2 year plan and a domain with extra security for a total of 340 and some change and included a premium plan. They blocked my accounts 1 days later and lost access to purchase receipt and all the work done to date. I lost time, cause stress for me and the client. I contacted them but they are making me wait 24 to 72 hrs to investigate this matter while it took them 5 minutes to cancel everything without contacting me.The domain I had picked seems no longer available and is affecting the client business.

I attempted to use *** to build a basic webpage for my community non-profit in May of 2024. I found the model not as easy to use as advertised. For instance, sizing content, matching colors to brands, and locating content on the page is disturbingly inconsistent. I found that once I placed logos and text on the page, the sizing would be different from the image loaded. This may have been due to formats or settings (again, I am not a web building professional), but I could not determine the cause and there was no feature or step in the process to assist a novice user in correcting the issue. I eventually had to hire a professional builder to make the site useable. Unfortunately, **** substandard support ultimately led to the site becoming useless less than two weeks after going live. When I tried to log in to my account to maintain the page, *** did not recognize my credentials. When I attempted to contact customer service, I discovered that there is NO CUSTOMER SERVICE! The site states that in order to receive help, you must log in to your account. Since my difficulty was logging in to my account, there is effectively no support available, despite having purchased a premium account. Instead, WIX solicits an email from the customer with a promise to respond, within 24 hours. I have made multiple requests for assistance over an eight-week period and as of this writing, I still have not received any help. I will likely have to scrub the entire site and start over with a different service at a substantial cost in time and money (approximately $8,000). I find **** claim to be the website builder that gives you the tools you need to succeed and with intuitive design features., among other claims, to be deceptive. I also find that *** is willing to receive and retain payment without actually providing the service that they claim. I strongly recommend against conducting business with this company.

I was charged $19.35 on 12/13/2024 through wix.com I contacted them via chat and phone call and talked to 2 separate people. I was informed that the charge was not directly through them, however when I go to the website it says it is. I asked for a refund because it was an auto renewal service but the email they sent states I would not be charged for the auto renewal til sometime around January 15, 2025.

On December 8, 2024, Wix.com forced through an $824.04 charge on my debit card for a 3-year website plan renewal. I first found out about it through my credit union's fraud prevention alert, after the first two attempts at the charge were declined by my credit union. After I looked into the issue, I found that this charge was from an auto-renewal that I, apparently (although I don't recall), set up in 2021. The 3-year cost I paid in 2021 was $270.13.Looking back, I did receive one notification email from *** about upcoming price changes. On November 8, I received an email that was formatted to look like a general marketing email. Buried in a large body paragraph, the email mentioned that my plan would increase from $667 to $824. I have never paid $667, and I believe this misrepresentation to have been made knowingly and in bad faith by Wix. By making the email look generalized and by falsely stating the price of my previous purchase, it had the effect of making the price increase seem marginal, instead of massive. A 305% increase!I then began pursuing a refund, but *** does not offer refunds on website plan renewals. This was the final straw that led me to report this issue to the BBB.

12/7/2022 11/23/2024 11/24/2024 This was a purchase originally to set up a website to showcase an academic portfolio. The recurring automatic payments the company made without explicit authorization have been impossible to refund for an undisclosed reason. The services were not used more than once, but the auto payments renewed. Efforts to explain extenuating circumstances why the automatic payments were not initially noted have been disregarded. Cancellation of the service on the same day of the most recent automatic payment has not been sufficient for even a pro-rated refund despite not using it at all for this upcoming year. It is as if the company gains access to bank information and auto-debits charges in rising amounts despite lack of activity in the service they are selling. They are making it very difficult to get a refund for a service I have not used for the last two years they have charged me. I would like a refund for at least this coming year subscription $369.75, since I canceled the services on the day of automated renewal and the charge is for this coming year. I do not need or want these services. Surely at a minimum a pro-rated refund for this would be reasonable

I had purchased $150 for ads. However I decided to shut down my website and didnt use the amount. The *** advised me to trash my sites and would request this. I went ahead and made a claim with my bank for $128.06. and received a credit on October 23, 2024. On November 7, 2024 the claim was reversed by *** and they took back $125.31. Since they took back my money decided last week to get my website back so I could use the $125 since they took it back, to my surprise it wasnt there, Ive tried multiple times to get someone to help and spoke to 5-6 different ***s whenever I ***ly to the support email I keep getting the run around, they cant find the $125, and my account says I only have a $4 credit on ****** ads. I have messages from *** stating my refund was approved, so where is my money? because a few weeks later they took it back and they have no idea where my money is, Ive sent screenshots of the bank claim and everything. I need my money back at this point the $125.31 to be put back into my bank account since they took it back from me. Every time I respond to the email its a different person requesting something I have already sent before. There is never just one person assigned to my case. Wix stole $125 from me and has been unable to resolve this issue effectively through their support nobody can find my money and now I am out of $125.
