    I had a website with wix that I took down in May of 2023. I believed this to be the end of our business together. Today my ****** notified me of a charge. I looked in my account and they charged me twice after my website was closed. I reached out to them assuming it was an error. They said they see that I have not used the site or their site at all since 2024 but bc I did not find a buried section that I still cant find and click on one specific button I never actually closed my account. This is very shady predatory business practices. **************** would not even assist with the official closing and refused any refunds despite seeing that it has never been used after I took the site down years ago.

    I subscribed to Wix in November 2024 as a platform to share my upcoming events and sell tickets to the events, which is what I believed was the intended use of the platform. I purchased a ticket myself on november 29 to ensure that the credit card feature worked correctly. It did, and I received a payout from wix in a reasonable amount of time and without question. My site went live in January and my first tickets were sold, totalling over $1000.00. At that time i received an email from wix that my account had "suspicious activity" and that their compliance **** needed to verify. They asked for specific info. I provided them the info, which took 7 business days to review. They then asked for additonal info and it has now been more than 7 busines days and my $2061 is still in holding while they complete the verification process. I am unable to get any definitive answers from the ***resentatives and the "compliance team" is an offline team that doesnt make or accept phone calls. In the meantime, i'm speaking to a *** in ********* who is at just as much their mercy as i am. After several days of frustration, i went on Reddit to see if others have experienced similar issues, and yes, there were other small businesses who were unable to complete business transactions because their monies were being held hostage by wix for unreasonable amounts of time. I feel like i am being scammed out of my money. In fact, i am in an uncomfortable position due to this company "verifying my account". My biggest question is why did they not verify for the very first transaction, but wait for a large transaction before "checking to make sure my site is in compliance with government regulations"? Is this a scam or otherwise illegal? one more thing....their practice of using AI and making it difficult to get to a live ***resentative adds insult to injury. i would like all fees for ******* waived and my $2061 payout

    I started a business in 2021 with a couple of friends, and we needed to utilize Wix to help create and work on websites for clients. Once we discontinued the business as a group, we no longer needed to use ***** services but the only thing is that I attached my personal credit card to a recurring payment for Wix, and I've tried countless times to try and contact them to help me cancel the subscription, but it's extremely difficult to reach them, and since it's been a long time I don't remember any login information to go about the cancellation process.

    I currently have a Wix premium plan and wanted to purchase another one, but there pricing model states that if you purchase one of thier plans monthly as opposed to yearly, the plan does not include domain. I want to purchase a monthly plan and already have a domain to connect but wanted more information as to how much extra connecting my own domain would be on the monthly plan due to it stating that was not included in the price. I reached out to customer service and a *** named ***** kept ***eating that I can get a free domain with the yearly plan and would not answer my question. I asked to be moved to a supervisor and they refused. They kept saying "why do you think me not answer your question?" When I ***lied that they did not answer my question, they kept ***eating my question with no additional answers other than to purchase the yearly. When I asked again to speak to a supervisor, they closed the chat. I have been a customer for over 10 years now and found this excruciating and unacceptable. Looks like I will be using another hosting service for all my websites in the future.

    *** has withheld my business money from Nov 15th 2024 until now January 25th 2025 speaking of a an "investigation" of my businesses legimaticy. I have provided them with all the requested information Jan 3rd , which included an State ID, business Ein, business receipts, a selfie with my ID. They haven't contacted me or made any progression and it has detrimental affected my business revenue.

    Events: Oct 31 2023 I purchased a Domain and a Premium Plan from Wix.com for $32 and $192 Oct 17 2024 I was charged on my Pay Pal Credit account $432 for the Premium Plan (the Domain was a 2 year plan and was not charged this year) Starting on Oct 18 2024 I tried to contact Wix.com to cancel, I could not find a number to call and I was not successful using the app to cancel. October 23 2024 I contacted ******* to try to cancel the charge and I did get that charge canceled, October 24 2024 I got an email from Wix.com saying "We received a chargeback for invoice ID ********** in your account: ************************* the service was canceled for non-payment." November 11 2024 ******* took that money back, $432, under the description ****** Purchase ******** CA I contacted ****** again and they said that my case was under review. Later in a letter dated December 30, ***************************** I tried calling the number on this letter and got their voicemail that said they would return my call in 48 hours.....I got no call back.Maybe because I failed to contact Wix.com in time (Have yet to talk to them) I violated some agreement, I don't know. But there are things here that are not right and not fair.1) If I do not get my $432 back then I should have access to the "Premium Plan" which I do not I have logged onto the site and that plan is not available. 2) I still have not been able to contact WIX.com to officially cancel anything and that leaves me open to getting another annual charge next October. FOR THE RECORD I WANT TO CANCEL BOTH THE DOMAIN "*****************' AND THE "PREMIUM PLAN"3) I also confused what ****** did with the $432, did they keep the money, did they send it to Wix.com. Perhaps my complaint should be with them.I would like to get my money back. It is a must for me to at least get these Subscriptions Canceled.

    I used Wix for my website, I had horrible customer service. I cancelled my subscription in 2023, I have my confirmation email.I am attaching the email that clearly states that I canceled my Subscriptions plural. Wix is telling me that I only cancelled one subscription They have refunded $120 of the $240, I have been going back and forth via email for the last $120 I was still billed in 2023 and 2024 It is fraud . Wix is unwilling to acknowledge the email written from their own employee stating my subscriptions , plural, had been cancelled

    Bought $102.00 worth of product from My daughter's new business. It's been almost two weeks and she has it received my payment which Wix accepts and then sends to the seller (my daughter). Want to know what is going on and make sure the money I paid gets to her. Not sure why *** is withholding the money.

    *** changed its plan options. It dissolved the plan I was previously on and without customer consent, moved customers to the higher option that cost more. If you didn't change your options in their system you'd be charged the higher amount automatically at renewal. When I was charged the higher amount I inquired. They said I'm not eligible for a refund. Renewals are not eligible for refunds at all for any period of time. I did not receive notice of the change and I did not authorize the change. I would choose the lower tier plan at a lower rate had I been given the opportunity. *** is acting in bad faith to customers.

    Charged on Nov 23, 2024 Paid I signed up for a portfolio site and domain, but it was taken down and never went live. The site was taken down because of a certain image that a company did not want published. I removed the site and contact wix and did not hear back. I tried calling several times, but I was not able to reach a live person. They continue to charge me for their services, but did not help me at all to get the site published. I would like a full refund as I was not able to use their services at all.
