In August 2023 many news reports in reputable media indicated that dvd.com would be giving away 10 dvds when going out of business at the end of September. Because many very good classic films are NOT available on Netflix streaming, I joined the *** service before the deadline indicated in order to obtain some of these films. I even bought a television set in order to watch these movies (rather than keep watching streaming options on my laptop). After receiving my first ***, I called ***.com to inquire how the ten dvds would be chosen-- would it be from the list that I had already indicated on my account? And then I was informed that I was not on the list to "be eligible" for this deal, as there was an additional opt in button that was not publicized. I was also told that the extensive news reports were inaccurate, which was also startling news. Therefore I paid a monthly fee to a dying *** service run by wealthy Netflix, and received only on *** which I intend to keep, which I understand is allowable.

12 months..that is how long Netflix allowed a person with a different account, email address, and name charge my debt card over and over again. Netflix did not ever check to confirm if the name on the debt card matched the account. ******************** could have a stop in place when names do not match, instead they just let fraudulent activity happen on their platform. Check your accounts especially if you have canceled your membership. When calling ******* was nice, however company policy only allowed them to refund 1 out of 12 fraudulent charges. They did blick my card from ever being used om their platform again and block the fraudulent individuals account. This is unacceptable, 1 that they wouldn't have a system in place to prevent fraud and 2 not taking full responsibility for the fraudulent behavior on their platform. Netflix should be held accountable for the fraud they are allowing.

I have always had my payment date set two days after my payday. Only get paid once monthly and live on an extreme budget. Netflix randomly changed my payment date and due to NSF I was overdrafted. Naturally I tried to fix it with them to change the date back resulting in them not changing the date but charging me two more times. All in so I ended up with $180 in overdrafts. I could have just paid for a year in advance for that.

**************** is a JOKE. I spent an hour trying to merge accounts because I was being double-billed, for them at the end to tell me this isn't possible and then hang up on me. No one has training, no one is solution oriented, no one offers a credit, at least with a bot you would KNOW it would be a waste of time from beginning, but unfortunately "trained" humans are only there to waste more of your time - "managers" included.

Account was hacked three times w/ the last one going unnoticed for 10 months. First time, the hacker added a new login and changed my email address on the account. How crappy is Netflix security to allow an email address that has been on file for over 15yrs to suddenly be changed by a new user account? The next time was a month later when the hacker changed my billing plan. After this I cancelled my account due to the crappy customer service I was receiving and the lack of security.Fast forward to yesterday (Aug 7) and I noticed a charge on my Amex from Netflix. After further review, Netflix never stopped charging me from Oct '23 till the present. When contacting them they see that my account is cancelled and not active. They asked for my credit card info and were able to pull up the account that was using my card info. They didn't provide any further info on that account and said they could refund me for the past 3 months, but that I'd have to contact my CC company to get the rest. I contacted Amex and they put in the disputes, but are not able to refund anything over 60 days old. I just spoke with Netflix as I was writing this and after demanding a manager or supervisor, I was able to get the full amount refunded. I am happy for this conclusion, but absolutely ****** off that it took so much of my time to fix this. Why do you have to be a complete A**** in order to make things right (i.e. full refund)? Was a loyal member since '03, but with the rapid price increases and lack of customer service, I almost believe the hack is an inside job to pad their numbers for the shareholders. Regardless, s**** Netflix!

The content on Netflix is so poor now. It takes forever to find something to watch and at least half of the content is foreign language films either dubbed over with horrible English or subtitles all together. They have no way to separate it out. I will say the cancel was extremely easy, as along as it actually worked.

I cancelled my account with ******************** on 07/27/2023 by accessing the app and pressing a button on the app, that cancelled my account. I received a cancellation email immediately after this. Netflix then charged my card on 07/28/2023 for $17.35 and then refunded $17.35 the same day. On 07/29/2023 Netflix charged my card $16.85. When I called to dispute the charge and verify my account is cancelled, the representative informed me, in order to cancel my account and remove my credit card from their system, I have to verify my credit card number. I stated I would not be giving my credit card number to a random customer service representative to remove it from an account I have cancelled. I asked if they were going to continue to charge my card after Ive cancelled my account, the representative stated no and did not push the issue further. If all I have to do to cancel my account on the app is press a button, I should not be asked to give all my credit card information to a customer service representative that claims theres no reason I need to give this information in the first place. Do not ask anyone that is calling in to customer service, to cancel their account, to give a random customer service representative their credit card information when there is no legitimate reason this information is needed. Credit cards attached to a cancelled account do not need to be verified, as the credit card is no longer going to be charged.

**************** is terrible and doesnt help with any issues you have that are not available in the FAQs. Not being able to use my Netflix account on a TV while traveling is total nonsense. I should be able to use it anywhere on anything I want especially considering I am paying for the most expensive package. The account is almost not even worth keeping considering other streaming platforms are not like this.

I cancelled my account back in January. Someone has hacked my account as of April 2023. Netflix has taken a total of $86.68 out of my account and refuse to refund me my total amount charged.I called to get my amount refunded me and they said they will only refund one month. They have leaked my bank account to outside people but will not do the right thing by me. I would not recommend Netflix to anyone

Absolute disgusting greed. Your crackdown on password sharing shows a lack of humility and a bow to your Wallstreet overlords. I wish your company the worst
