      I am so ****** with the robinhood app. They place my account on restriction for over 7 days and say someone will contact me 2-3 days and never gotten a response back. I have a balance to pay for emergency event and NEVER RECIEVED WORD. Im about to talk to an attorney for holding my money. Talked to ********* people and told to wait

      My account number was used fraudulently by an unknown individual and I filed a claim, made police report and went through all the steps asked of me and Robinhood stated the transactions were legit and not fraudulent... they let someone steal my money and they aren't being an advocate for the victim!

      I started investing in the Robinhood trading platform several months ago. I invested a little over ********* of my own money. I recently sold all my securities to end up a little over *********. I went to transfer my funds back into my VERIFIED bank account that I setup on Robinhood when I opened my account only to find out my account now has restrictions that wont let me withdraw my money. Since I've been asked to verify myself through the app pictures of my state license which I've done and it says as soon as documents are verified my account restrictions will be lifted. I've done online chat, I've talked to numerous phone support from Robinhood and I keep getting the run around. This is all the money I have and my family and I could really use the money that is rightfully ours. We took the chance and invested and now can't transfer our money and profits to our account. I talked to Robinhood alot through email and phone support and it was always give us 24 to 48 hours and nothing. Today I was told to give them a week. I don't know what else to do except come to the BBB for help with Robinhood trying to steal our money. Hoping I can get help and help others that this may happen to in the future. I can pull up phone records and emails if needed. I've so seen through online research that this has or is happening to several people.

      Ive been trying to get my robinhood app to contact my account on my new phone with my a new phone number. I go to login it tells me i new to have a text message verification. So i go throught the processes get copy of my driver license to confirm its me and update my phone number. They send me a verification that updated my phone number. I try to login in again and to no end they need to send a text message to my phone ok my new number has been verified but they are refusing to send my texts or push verification to my new phone. i really just want access to my account so i can remove my funds and be done them this company because of this whole situation. i have a user name and password that i use to login but for some reason its not enough to get acces to my account.

      I have included uploads of screenshots of the threatening emails I got due to *********************** lack of security.I'm a victim of identity theft due to *********************** lack of security. All I got from ******************* was a sorry note saying there's nothing they could do. I am now receiving threatening emails ****** and sexstortion. The Cyber criminals are ransoming my well-being financial status and social security number for 2.9 bitcoin. I have contacted the *** the ic3 and local police. I am beyond Furious as well as scared as to what ******************* has just done to me. My credit alert has warned me that my email and social are on the dark web. If I ever get a chance I will hold Robinhood fully responsible for this and if I ever get a chance I do plan on suing them and holding them completely accountable for anything including emotional distress. I have emailed them I do not get an email back and I do not get a call back. I emailed them again now I cannot get into the email that has been hacked I have had to do so much to protect my identity and these people at this company cannot even do one thing for me. I fully feel they have put my safety and life on the line and they don't care one bit about it I want them held fully responsible for everything not just what they done to me but what they done to all the others that have their information leaked as well.

      I opened up a account with Robinhood about 8 months ago. I have/had ***** of buying power and approximately ***** in stocks. When I tried to pull my money out of Robinhood to my checking account my account was in error? They made me resend my identification 2 times with fail. They never allowed me to access my account they basically shut my account down. I spoke to them while I had access at the time to explain to them why I could not access my money but customer service employee told me they don't know why? Then it came to a point where like I stated before they prohibited me from gaining access to my account and monies. I don't know what to do about this. There customer service is very bad and I can't even talk to anyone anymore. Please help me sincerely *********************** thank you.

      I reject Robinhoods email response because I have been trying to contact them multiple times in the past 3 to 4 months. However I did speak to a customer service agent 2 times months ago and when I told the agent I wanted to cancel my account and have them deposit my funds which is approximately ***** they proceeded to tell me that "They" couldn't help me and that it was a different department that handles these matters!! When I asked the name of this department they couldn't answer the question. The Agent told me they would get in touch via email only. I waited and waited no response. Meanwhile months later after I contacted BBB they are saying I currently have 3 different claims. I only have 1 claim and that is to have them refund my money back into my checking and cancel my account.    Thank You sincerely,  ************************;

      Someone has opened an account in my name and has tried to use my bank account, I have tried to contact Robinhood directly. They require me to log in with my user name and password.I do not have this info, because I did not open account. I have received multiple emails from Robinhood.

      I don't know if it was by an app update, but one day I was no longer able to signed into my Robinhood app (I had chose the biometric option for sign in). So I tried to sign in manually......and the app no longer recognized my login. So obvious next step is to try to contact tech support ...... which doesn't exist outside of the app (no phone number or email listed). Tried to request a password reset, which never happens ( no follow up resent email is ever sent). So I have to sit down and do some digging to find out that Robinhood has shut out a lot of users since their court settlement case without communication to those users. And sadly they have taken my money, be what little there was there with no way for me to get it back. It's straight up criminal, and I'm angry I don't have a way to fight to get my money back other than file complaints such as this.

      In November of 2019, I tried to buy stock using Robinhood. I used the wrong bank account which caused my account to become restricted due to insufficient funds. I decided I wanted my account closed since I was no longer interested in using their service. In order to close the account, I had to sell any positions that I currently held. Since my account is restricted, I am not able to sell my positions to close it. I was required to upload a different bank account which I have done. I was told to upload my photo id and provide a pdf of a bank statement from the old account. Once I did this, I was contacted by support that they actually want an account closure letter instead and to reupload my id picture again. I have uploaded my id picture multiple times now and have talked with their support countless times. The fact that I provided all the information they asked for and then still will not close my account is unethical. I feel like I am being held hostage.

      My account was jeopardized and when I spoke with a customer service about a transaction that I noticed after I had not used my account in a long time and was in aware of the data breach I was informed that all transactions are final and no fixable because the customer approves them during this time I had been locked out of my account and the email and password used we leaked in the data breach and also I have emails of the other transactions i make and there was not a confirmation nor did I give consent or trade the stock in the question which I was sure of but when I first contacted and addressed my concern I was in aware or informed about the data breach and the stock price increased diaristically and thats what made me get back into the account because thats were I had the stock Being sold the issue was never resolved and I have documents forming Norton life lock stating the information was sold on the dark web via to Robinhood confirming that in fact the **** occurred with out my consent or me being notified I would highly recommended not using Robinhood and would like a resolution
