They deserve a negative rating, not 1 star. Google Fiber installation was a complete mess. Two different crews came out to "trench the yard" but insisted in putting the lines directly across the yard, the shortest route possible, rather than through the same area where the other utilities are run...across all the irrigation zones, under driveways, etc. I refused to agree to put the lines through that area of the yard. I asked on 3 separate times during three different conversations with their crews to have a supervisor contact me to work out and agree on where to run the lines. None of those times, including a call to Google, did anyone contact me as promised. Instead, when I got back from lunch with my wife, I came home to find them trenching across my yard, digging under my sidewalks, and a box bolted to the side of my house! I was gone for an hour and 15 minutes. These are out of state contractors, not Google employees, paid by the job, and have complete disregard for you or the state in which they leave your property. Good luck resolving with Google, as they will tell you that you agreed to have them install the service--and that agreement means they do what they want with your property.

If I could give less that one star I would. Less than 8 hours in and the service failed! Service was atrocious when I called, and neither "******" nor the alleged supervisor "*********" was of any help. They stated they will charge me until the equipment is returned, even though I had no service on day one. I have never experience worse internet service or customer service in my lifetime. I fortunately did not cancel my current provider.

I have about $120 worth of Google playstore cards frozen and cannot be redeemed. Although there is evidence I paid for the cards and followed directions to fix the issue. Some Google gift cards glitch when customers attempt to redeem the cards. In my case, when I enter the codes into my accounts, I get a message saying that more information is needed and to send details in a form. The form requires a photo of the card, a reciept and information about location, and the store where the cards are purchased. When I get a email addressing the issue, the email says that my account and card is ineligible to be redeemed. When I attend the place where the cards are purchased, they refer me back to Google support. I managed to contact support through Google support and rhe agent told me to return to the store and to get cards replaced. So there is much back and forth betwwen the store of purchase and the Google support. No customer should be subjected to this type of treatment by Google. Google seems to only be concerned with tracking people's locations and targeting them for ads. Google playstore cards cannot be used with vpns and they don't allow it because they want to collect as much personal information about customers as possible.

They have businesses wait 3-4 weeks to re activate their account only to deny. Meanwhile all the information that was asked for was sent. There is absolutely no person to contact via phone or email. It is absolutely horrible that this is allowed. I'm a single mother trying to provide for my kids and need my business listed yet I'm getting no where!!

Problems with my Google pixel 6 pro phone. In September my phone got an error message "*** card not supported". After working with my cell provider, spending hours trying to fix the issue & replacing the *** card, my cell provider determined that it was the device that is defective. With this error message all the features worked, I could make calls & receive them. But randomly, it wouldn't allow me to send texts OUT. I'd get messages in, but sometimes couldn't respond to them, having to restart my phone which worked rarely or just wait for it to start working hours later. I pay for this phone, I pay for the service, it should work. I should not have to wonder if my expensive phone will work. After contacting Google support & spending about 3 hours troubleshooting & a factory reset the issue was not fixed. They went to see if the phone was under warranty. It was under warranty. The 1st option given me was to go to 1 of their approved stores to have it repaired, the closest one was 160+ hours away. The 2nd option was for me to send my phone in for repairs, leaving me without a phone for around 2 weeks. That is just unacceptable. Everything is done on the phone. I get messages on my phone for work to verify me when I sign into the computer, I have a teenage son who is autistic, I need to be available for his school, doctors, therapists, and him if there are any issues. Whenever I have had an issue with a phone product in the past or any electric company, that company would send me a replacement r9ght away. After going on saying that all this was inconvenient, they said they can send a replacement, but it would still take about a week or so. Didn't really help the fact that I need my phone. I agreed to do so. But I decided to cancel my services with my provider because of this issue. Now I fear they won't send it back, when I am still paying for the phone. I still have about $600 to pay on it. I will pay it, but I better get that phone back.

Won't allow me to make corrections to my business profile, cut off my chat sessions with them without notice. This is cutting me off from my livelihood. Too big to care about individual customers now.

Unreasonable guidelines!!! I switched the ****** couple of months ago and I updated the address on my Google Business account. Right away I reviewed notification that my account is being frozen because per Google guidelines my account doesn't qualify for display. The support system required for me to send them:
      1. A scanned copy of my business registration showing the address I want to use - our license display *********** Commissioner address as he is the one issuing the license not a broker.
      2. A utility bill showing the address I want to display on my page - I might be able to get it but if won't have my name on it but my brokerage name.
I've been trying to explain in multiple emails that as a real estate agent I have to display our brokers address including safety reasons, and can't provide requests documents as I'm not a Broker but they won't be moved.
The guidelines are unreasonable and they are hurting my and other real estate agents - I know for a fact that others are dealing with the same problem.

Do not trade in your phone! I read that if my phone did not have cracks, scratches, would start and was reset, I would receive a $95 credit for trading in my old phone. My phone met all of these criteria. In fact I was still happily using my phone up to the minute I reset it and sent it to the Google Store. I was only given two choices, to trade it in or not to trade it in. I looked but could not find an option for what to do if they decided my phone did not qualify. My gently used phone met their published criteria so I checked the trade in box. Nine minutes after getting a notice that my phone was received, I got a notice my phone had a swollen battery and I would not get any credit! I sent a reply back asking for my phone back. Later I saw it was a no reply email and that there was no email address I could respond to included in that email. I called customer service and was told after sitting on hold for quite a while that because I checked the trade in box, they would not give me credit or send me my phone back. I sent my phone to them in good faith and I feel ripped off! I will never recommend that anyone use this trade in program and I will not either. I am very disappointed in this whole process. I rarely complain but I feel I was blatantly taken advantage of. If my phone was still working great, how can I prove or disprove the swollen battery claim if they didn't send my phone back to me?

I have tried for over a year to get out of Google Workspace. When I googled directions, it reported you can't get out of workspace and gave me instructions on how to reduce my payment. I'm trying again to cancel, and I'm caught in link ****. I finally got on to the link and was able to remove my credit card but was not able to cancel the account. I have reached out multiple times and I was not able to receive any help. I recently received an email that report they had "successfully renewed my account." Every email is marked "no-reply". I don't want Google Workspace, and the only way the staff could renew my account is if they pulled up old accounts.

I was involved in a car accident on Saturday 15 October 2022. My google pixel 5a phone was destroyed during the accident. I paid cash for the phone in April 2022 and insured it through google. I filed the insurance on 15 October 2022 for a replacement phone and was told that the coverage was approved and will receive an email with instructions on how to order a new phone. I have been without a phone for 7 days now without a resolution. Google sent me a sim card in the mail 6 days after my initial request. Without a working phone, the sim card is useless. I have called everyday to follow up and I am informed that their specialist are working on a glitch in the system. Very horrible customer service. I will be switching my service to a more reputable company that takes care of its customers!!!!
