I was continually given vague answers and transferred between departments, even being falsely told that I had Tax Penalty Protection when I did ****** of April 29, 2025, the issue was still not resolved, forcing me to manually file and pay my tax obligations through the New York State website defeating the purpose of paying for QuickBooks payroll services.Desired Resolution:Refund for the period during which filing functionality was unavailable Public acknowledgment from QuickBooks of the system failure Improvements in communication and service reliability to prevent future harm to businesses

On 4/15/25 I filed my taxes with TurboTax; I was over charged for services I did not request or use. While filing my federal taxes they asked several times if I wanted to upgrade or add an *****, I declined every time. After the federal taxes was completed, I was informed there will be a fee of $69 to file the state with the federal. I agreed to pay the $69, which is why I provided my card and that was the amount listed. I choose to pay upfront to avoid additional fees. When my card was processed, I received notification from my bank the amount that was charged was $198. Immediately I called Turbo Tax to inform them of the error. The 1st ***** was no help and couldn't explain why I was over charged or what to do. He went around in circles for over 20 minutes. I then requested a manager to assist who just advised there are no refunds and nothing she could do. I explain this is not a service I requested, not a service that I utilized, it was not clear that I was being charged a different other than $69, northing confirming the total amount before charging and nothing stating there's no refund before that amount was charged. Maybe they have this verbiage hidden on their website but definitely not before the payment is processed. She even admitted it says the $69. I submit a request for a refund online, not only did they not refund my money I never even received a response. As long as Turbo Tax has been around and how many times, I have use them in the past I am disappointed they have stooped to these deceptive and deceitful practices. These false advertisings of free tax filing but all along adding services to client they didn't request then refusing to refund is robbery. If could afford to pay $200 to file my taxes I would have gone to a tax professional. I did all the work. I filed my taxes myself and your company stole my money. I have referred many to your company but with these practices I will no longer.

I prepared my taxes through TurboTax online.. The TurboTax Free File program made it very easy for me to prepare them and at that time I was very satisfied. I was prompted on the site several times to upgrade to Deluxe and I declined EVERY time! I could not file my taxes online but instead had to print out and mail. At the end, I was directed to check out. I was charged for deluxe TurboTax, which I never authorized or used as my taxes were simple. The amount of my invoice was $151.58. I complained to **************** online as there were no options to speak to a live agent. **************** responded with a standard cookie cutter response that I used the deluxe version which I did not. I looked at my bank statement and the charge of $151:58 had been posted. I want a refund of my amount paid of $151.58. I feel that this is a scam that they perpetuate at checkout. I never even got a confirmation screen before confirming. I was not presented a confirmation screen until after they had processed my payment, which should have been zero.

I am a sole proprietor with all supporting legal documents (EIN, Sellers Permit, registered DBAS, etc). After having my first 2 big orders paid through a Quickbooks invoice to a Quickbooks Checking account, my ********************** account was closed and the checking account was suspended (due to a business decision - no breach of ToS). There is $1635.41 now stuck in that account. I am a small business that just started and NEED to have access to it. After hours on the phone with Quickbooks, a supervisor told me there is nothing that can be done and I have to wait an undisclosed period of time to find out what will happen to the funds. I need a resolution or an attorney will need to get involved. I have attached invoices placed with vendors for the materials I use.

On 3/24/25 I contacted TurboTax to help with filing my taxes. My husband gets a ***************************************************** because they are about a business and I dont own a business. I had already entered about 95% of the information needed to file so there wasnt much left for the tax expert to do. I was originally told the estimate for them filing for me would be about $300 but at the end I was told it would be $994. I hesitated at first but was so frustrated from trying to do the taxes myself that I just paid it feeling like I really didnt have another option at the time. The tax expert said that she got with her manager and she said they would give me a 20% discount but it would take about a week for it to show on my account. When it did not show up I tried calling turbo tax several times and no one wanted to help me just kept giving me the run around. Finally on 4/22 the *** I was talking to at least tried to be helpful and told me to just submit a request for a partial refund so that they could process the 20% discount that way. My claim was denied. I have used turbo tax for over 10 years and this is how I am treated. The cost should have never been over $900 and I know there was a note on my account that I was supposed to get a 20% discount because every *** I spoke to confirmed it. Even getting a 20% discount I was way over charged.

I am requesting a refund for my 2024 TurboTax Online purchase because of a software error that caused problems with my federal tax return. However, my request was denied without an adequate review of the specific software error involved. No escalation or appeal option was provided.Given the inconvenience, the delay in *** processing, and the costs I incurred correcting TurboTaxs error, I am respectfully requesting a full refund of my TurboTax Online purchase.Thank you for your attention to this matter.I look forward to resolving this quickly.

I could go on for hours but instead Ill do my best to summarize the issue. Intuit has acknowledged that we are due a refund and has promised month after month to make it happen. Some of the erroneous credit card charges have been refunded and an apology given with an assurance that Intuit will stop charging the credit card every month. This has been ongoing for well over 8 months. Last month on the 26th they once again fraudulently charged the credit card. This was on 3-26-25 we, once again, called them and asked for a refund, however this time none was issued. We were told to expect a callback within 24 hours which never happened. Today, once again, 4-26-25 the company credit card was fraudulently charged. Intuit knows full well this is fraudulent and there are extensive notes under our account indicating that this is absolute fact. The most recent case number is ***********. Our account number is under the name ***************************. Not sure if these complaints are made public but I can tell you without hesitation not to ever give out your credit card to these thieves.
