      I was overcharged for the services this year they charged me for items I did not select They refused my partial refund on the services I did not need because they already had my money I will never use them again they are out for a money grab selling you more services then you need. You don't get to choose they pick for you.

      Horrible customer service! I have tried repeatedly to get a customer service person who can help me reschedule my payment! I was NOT expecting a payment to be withdrawn out of my account yet and the reminder they did send was sitting in my spam box with only a 48 hour reminder notice. That did not give me enough time to put more funds in my account and I was hit with overdraft fees and more! I tried valiantly twice to find someone in customer service who could connect me to who was in charge of debiting my account! NO ONE KNEW ANYTHING. I could not set up an alternate arrangement with ANYONE thus furthering the problems with my account. I finally had to place a stop payment. Hoping someone can get through to me them actually handles payments besides throwing me to collections! I am trying to pay!! Really fishy that there is no one to talk to about payment withdrawals from an account! Will NEVER ALLOW then to debit my account EVER again. NOT RELIABLE.

      I have used turbo tax for years, but was extremely displeased with their debit practices. They took money out of my checking account without enough notice. 48 hours is NOT enough time to get my account prepared for a larger withdrawal. I was not even given a date of withdrawal to expect at the beginning. It over drafted my account severely. I had received a refund so expected that to pay the funds regardless. Regardless of who is right or who is wrong, the fact remains that they need to offer a much stronger approach to letting clients know when funds are to be debited out of their accounts. Another major issue is that there is no way to make an alternate payment arrangement with this company. I called customer service TWICE and both were utterly USELESS in giving me a number to call to halt the debits out of my account and arrange a scheduled payment that works for me, the client. I have been a loyal turbo tax customer for years now and deserve much better than this. I should get at least 70 dollars back in fees owed to me for my bank costs.

      Tax time is stressful enough without having to deal with such a shady online filing platform. Intuit advertises you can file your taxes for free but really it is not free. I have a w2 and that is it. When it came time to submit, it would not submit without an upgrade to Deluxe. I paid and submitted. Once I could get past the Tax Assistant and actually speak to a live person, I was told they would issue a refund since I didn't have any additional income or unemployment income or anything that would indicate a complicated return. It was weeks and I didn't see a refund so I called back to learn that Intuit can't issue that refund that Deluxe is a product I purchased and they'd send a link to reply for a refund but weren't sure if they would refund it or not. I haven't pursued that disaster yet. In addition, my payment to the State was taken out of my checking account and not my ***** which was the card information provided on Intuit and verified through a live person in their finance/billing department that was the information they had as well. I was told to call my bank which I did and they said somehow Intuit has my checking account information on file and probably submitted it through my checking so they wouldn't have to pay the 3% credit card fee. I tried calling Intuit back after my bank call but I got an after hours message. This is not right. Intuit seems to be doing some shady things. Never again will I use Intuit and now they have all of my personal information. Thumbs down for Intuit. And, I don't want to give them even a one-star rating but seems I can't submit a review without. Today must not be my day. :(

      I'm using this to vent, but have had to force politeness to the ** reps. /_(?)_/Absolutely horrendous. Intuit/TurboTax not only failed to apply my discount at time of purchase (I was issued a 25% off through my workplace), but they are actively obstructing me from speaking to someone who can help. This blatant theft of roughly $150 came after receiving no help from their tax "experts", none of whom are apparently even fluent in English. Just getting them to understand a problem well enough to be able to offer guidance was extraordinarily difficult. I have spent several hours, cumulatively, trying to get this issue resolved. But the customer service agents don't understand the difference between a tax refund and a partial refund for the tax preparation services provided by Intuit. I have requested to speak to the agent's supervisor in the current chat I'm in, but since making that request they have attempted to disconnect me from the chat without my consent by taking upwards of 15 minutes to respond, then when they do, immediately saying "this chat has become inactive, respond within 60 seconds or you will be disconnected". This is absolutely shameful. Needless to say, I will never be using any Intuit service again. Aside from robbing me of a couple hundred dollars, when you factor in that I paid extra for live assistance from "tax experts" who had to look everything up (exactly what I was trying to avoid doing, and in fact in most cases they gave me inaccurate information and I had to look up the relevant sections of the state tax codes anyway) and couldn't effectively communicate. (As an example: "A in your fede4ral?Did you input your". Yes, that is 100% verbatim. But what do you expect from a company whose timestamps on the customer reviews page say "a hour ago"?)I would recommend avoiding Intuit. They cannot be trusted with your money. Their live services are a true ripoff, and seeking restitution for brazen theft will result in obstruction.

      I have been using Turbotax for many years and have constantly been unhappy with the amount of pop-up add on's that is offered essentially every step of the way. Unfortunately this year, I somehow managed to end up with "live support" add-on which racked up an additional 50-75$ onto my total bill.The lucrative, predatory, and deceptive business aspect of this is that I never was asked to confirm such add on, nor was there a secondary verification to ensure it was not accidently added. I truly have no idea how I was enrolled in the add-on and an very unhappy. I truly cant fathom how this business model is considered ethical, let alone legal.

      Turbo tax is absolute trash. Do not use them! They advertise free or low fees which is total ********. Then charge extra money to pay with your tax return. Every year I have used them I have owed taxes or they have messed up my refund. Not sure who they are in bed with in the government but they are corrupt! This company needs to be shut down! Never had issues using other services. Never will I use them again! Trash trash trash!

      Ive used TurboTax before , it was fine, yet this year they really upped the scamming and money grabbing, I got tricked into paying for the Live agent yet never received any live assistance and when I tried too , I was told to go to the *** or call, what?! Why did I pay almost 250 to file my own taxes on this free site , then to make matters worse, I still havent received my full return, and usually I can go on IRS website to see whats going on, but even that was unsuccessful, I honestly will tell everyone I know to steer clear of this company , their are better sites and you can always go to an accountant who knows what theyre doing so at least you will get your money worth. Terrible company all around IMO , save your hard earned money if you dont want to be scammed!

      After 3 "Tax Experts" I finally managed to file my taxes a day late. All because their system had issues with a 1099-*** form.After putting in my 1099-*** the federal review said it needed more information. It didn't say what information was missing. When I typed into the search bar that my 1099-*** wouldn't go through it said i had to upgrade to Deluxe Live for more assistance. So i Upgraded. It then had me connect to chat where after 35 minutes i got someone. She had me open the search bar and look up 1099-*** seems the "Tax Expert" didn't know what it was. This search window covered the chat so i had no idea what she was typing to me. After another 15 minutes i got frustrated canceled the session and went back to work (was on my lunch break) When i returned home i tried to open the help function this time selecting the phone. It said they would call me in aprox 44 minutes. After they called we spent a full HOUR on the phone going in circles. She said there should have been extra bubbles for selection but they weren't there. At the end of the hour she said she will escalate it to a Level 2 to stay on the line and she will transfer the call. After about 10 minutes I said Hello!? after saying hello the third time they hung up. Frustrated and 30 minutes past my Bed-Time (Having a CDL requiring 8 hours of sleep i was out of time) I went to bed. The Next day on my lunch break i used the live function again to get help. She couldn't figure it out, **** making an excuse that it should have been a 1099-MISC instead of a 1099-*** even though it was a Non Employee Compensation from my Union for going on strike. which is what the 1099-*** is for. She eventually had me file it under the Hobby Bubble cause there was no Bubble for the union. I mentioned that the program made me upgrade so i could talk to a real person to fix this problem and she said the live chat is free and i didn't need to upgrade. So she gave me a 10% discount on the upgrade i apparently didn't need.
