      Received a promotional email advertising 20% off on TurboTax Deluxe, Premier, or Self-Employed Online or TurboTax Live Assisted Basic, Deluxe, Premier, or Self-Employed Online when you file your federal return between December 1, 2022 and April 18, 2023 (11:59pm PT). I followed the link on the email and the prompts that followed, which resulted in me paying for and filing my taxes. I assumed since I followed their instructions and the links in the promotional discount email, that they would have applied the 20% they offered. They did not give me the discount and after an hour of talking to unhelpful the customer service they told me to file a refund. I tried filing for a refund only to be rejected twice and told that the product I was requesting a refund on was not actually available for a refund due to their "satisfaction policy". Turbo tax falsely advertised a discount which led me to file my taxes through them. They have since refused to honor their advertised discount leaving me to pay more than advertised for their service. I will not be utilizing Turbo Tax in the future for either personal or business use and would recommend anyone who is considering to utilize their local CPA's or accountants instead of this large and unhelpful corporation.

      I wasted hours of time talking to different people and getting absolutely no help. I attempted to file my taxes and it kept asking me to enter a code. After entering 8 codes I finally gave up. I tried again today seemingly I was successful. Nope hours later I get an email my taxes were not filed. $118 wasted

      Scammers, theives. Charging me $119 plus tax PLUS $58 to file federal, then asked for $324 I supposedly owed. Couldn't choose the $85 basic package, they restrict the file formats such as **** you have to pay more to get ****. I payed them $178.** then realized I was SCAMMED requested a refund. They refused the refund for online purchases, only for CD/Software. F*** Intuit. I will s*** on their brand until I die. Freetaxusa is the BOMB DIGGITY

      Aside from the lobbying to keep a quick file system from going live, they also forced me into a program I didn't want and tacked on an extra $40 fee just to pay them out of MY refund. They also continue to say that you get file your state for free but then charge for it? I thought there was a law suit about that.

      I have done taxes with TurboTax for the past couple of years and this year I have had a terrible experience. I will not be doing any future business with this company! I was offered a 20% off coupon for filing as self-employed and they stated "DIscount is just a click away". I read the fine print and called customer service. I was then given a 30% off coupon when talking to customer service. Although, they had no way to apply the coupon after charging me the full amount. After talking to multiple representatives and being told to file a refund request form, I was denied and sent an automated message with no explanation as to why. This is false advertising and they expect customers to not fight this issue. They do not care for their customers and will not help you if they even make mistakes, you are $$$ to them and that is all.

      I have used Turbo Tax for years and never a problem. This year they have *************** me over. The *** deposited my return on March 22nd, here it is April 14th & I still don't have my money! Calling TurboTax they tell me it was deposited in a bank in ********** that I needed to call them. First off, I used TurboTax, not a bank in CA! Not having a choice, I call the CA bank, it is an automated ordeal & they say I will receive my refund in 2 business days. They have had my money for 23 days now! Unacceptable, ludicrous & asinine! Do I get to charge penalty ************ since they've held my money so long!? I seriously doubt it. I will NEVER use TurboTax again! I have had to make 5 long phone calls, most hold times were the automated c*** they shove down your throat! And TurboTax was of no help! As stated, unacceptable!

      Hours on phone, internet and messaging with no resolution of overcharge. Their response: Out of luck. No refund. Cost to company: 20 more years of my business and whoever I can tell. Bad customer service and policy. Dont use at any cost!!!!

      Turbo tax/intuit is a very dishonest company. Two years in a row, I was unable to file my taxes with them, and they still charged me the money. They refused to return my fee, stating that they do not return funds unless you buy a cd. Nobody has a drive on their pc anymore. So I used the online version. NOWHERE on their website do they state the fee is non-returnable. I wouldnt recommend this company to my worst enemy. What a racket they have going. They should be penalized for being a fraudulent company.

      I have used TurboTax for years and love how they help average people do taxes, but recent price increases and hidden costs are causing me to rethink my commitment. TurboTax automatically assumed I wanted to use the LIVE package again this year and didn't have an option to downgrade, even when I never used the LIVE service (chat with tax experts). I finally used the customer support link to chat with a representative about this and they said my only option was to erase everything and start over. This is ridiculous! I spent several hours entering information and I don't want to start over - just because they can't downgrade. They don't have any issues adding services mid-process. They should be able to tell I didn't use the service and let me downgrade at the end. I'm paying an extra $100 for a service I never used! LIVE does come with other features as well - but I don't really want those either. I went ahead and submitted this year, because I didn't want to start over, but am thinking about shopping around more next year.

      I have asked the fraud department to take care of an issue for over a month. They will not respond and I am currently out the money that was scammed from me.
