      I was locked into a more expensive product without selecting it and there was no option to downgrade back to the base product. It didn't even tell me that I was utilizing a product that was NOT the base product. I had to get chat support on to help me do it - the downgrade method was hidden in a really specific section of the tool that was non-intuitive. The public guides online don't outline this method ********* my view this company is committing fraud.

      ALERT: TurboTax Users - Critical Warning About Accessing Your Saved Tax Returns I need to warn fellow taxpayers about a serious issue with TurboTax. I attempted to open my 2021 tax return that was saved on my personal computer. Despite entering my valid license number from the fully paid software I purchased, TurboTax blocked me from accessing my own return.When I contacted TurboTax support, they informed me they "don't support returns over 3 years old" - meaning I'm blocked from accessing MY OWN TAX RETURN that I prepared using PAID software saved on MY OWN COMPUTER.This policy is dangerous for taxpayers because:The IRS can audit returns up to 7 years back TurboTax blocks access after just 3 years, even to returns saved locally No advance notice was given about this policy We paid for the software with the expectation of permanent access to our returns TurboTax is actively preventing access to our own tax records I've attempted to escalate this issue:Requested supervisor callback - none received Asked for policy explanation - none provided Sought technical solutions - denied Asked for access to my own tax data - refused I strongly urge all TurboTax users to:Download AND TEST opening ALL your available returns immediately Save PDF copies of all returns outside of TurboTax Consider this policy when choosing your next tax preparation service Share this warning with other taxpayers After 20 years as a loyal customer, I'm done with **********************. A company that prevents customers from accessing their own tax returns prepared with paid software doesn't deserve our business. Only through collective action can we hope to see this harmful policy changed.

      Absolutely stay away. Terrible experience, terrible customer support. There was a simple issue regarding my employee W2s that needed to be corrected so I submitted a ticket, went through the proper steps and was told I'd need to wait 20 days until it was completed. On day 19, I received an email asking for more information and then within 30 minutes I received an email that my case was closed. The employee who reviewed the case did nothing, but closed it. They don't respond to emails (about 5 sent) so I promptly called support (another 3 hours wasted) and was told I had no options but to submit another ticket which would be an additional 20 days (we'll see). My employees have been unable to file their taxes for the last month and a half because of this. Look elsewhere for ANY payroll needs.

      long time customer with assisted payroll. this year they didn't do end of year reports. w2 and w3 940 and assisted payroll was no help no reason giving payments where all fine. finally had to do all my own and be late. do not use them!!!!

      I did not receive my prequalified loan nor was my refund sent 5 days earlier. I made less than 21k in taxes with 3 dependents paid almost 12k in taxes but only received 10k back due them charging 287%TAX Blended Rate. I hate this fraudulent business. I knew I should not have trusted them. !

      I thought I was signing up for the TurboTax Deluxe package to include customer service support. Once I realized it did not include this service, I read I could ask for a refund after filling. After filling I reached out for a refund and was told that you cant get a refund for online products. I feel like after their lawsuit they became even more of a scam. Ive used them for 23 years and this year will be my last.

      The tax software on line was not intuitive enough to let me know that I DID NOT need to file a small business return based on the fact that I was trying to file my return as sole proprietor. After filing in all the information and filing my and my return being rejected. I called and spoke to a person live was I told I did not need to file a separate small business return. That should have filed it with my 1040 with a schedule C. Now that I have requested a refund, Im being told that the on line software is not covered by their satisfaction guarantee.

      Turbo Intuit *** has software in which you cannot change your bank account. I have called into their support and they provided a solution did not work after over 30 minutes on the phone and then a call back that took 2 hours and got a response that confirm payment should give the option to update your bank account. It does not. Cannot process my refund because I cannot select the option "This account information is correct and is where I want my refund deposited" the account is not correct. no help from this company. when checking the Internet others are having the same issue. Not sure why Intuit does not have a fix in place or ready to put in place. a lot of people want and need their refunds. Very disappointed because I am stuck, unable to file a returned about spending over an hour completing information.

      I did not sign up for anything and my debit card was debited almost 400 from Intuit. Half was reversed and the other half wasn't. I called customer service and was transferred to the resolution department, was on hold for about 10 minutes and the phone hung up on me. I called my bank to get it resolved.
