      Intuit has totally screwed up TurboTax software by:1. Creating a situation where you must login to an online account that does not have a password. This wasn't previously required. It sends you a verification code when you click on 'forgot password" that you enter on the web page, but it puts you into a never-ending loop of getting verification codes and not being offered a way to reset your password.2. When you finally give up and call an 800 number for customer service, you are told that you must use your cell phone number to gain access to your account, but that first you must be sent a link by email to scan with your phone to get to an app to take pictures of the front and back of your driver's license. (Invasion of privacy!!!) The app doesn't work; it has a glitch that never goes past the front of the license, there is no "continue" to take the back picture. The picture taking is automatic, but if you have a tremor in hands, it is difficult to do. 3. They insist that you must have a user id -- and that you must guess it for them to confirm it -- even if it was taken from something years ago and not used in recent years,.4. They will not take driver's license info any other way or cell phone number. This is a NIGHTMARE for someone who has used their software for 10+ years.

      I think that they are overpriced and have the worst support staff when you need to call them. I use their Desktop program for the plumbing and heating business my son has and they raised the renewal $400.00 from last year. Outrageous and tried to contact them, all the way up to the CEO and no one from that office, or him, or a complaint that I filed with Quickbooks has ever responded and it has been almost a month.They want people to use their online program and I will not and I think they are doing this purposely which makes it even worse. if my accountant was familiar with any other program the business I would not use them. They don't ever explain why the price has gone up so much and won't respond to any emails I have sent in an attempt to find out why. I also pay separately for the payroll subscription as I do the payroll since we are a small company. It is a disgrace that they can't even answer me. I am very upset with this company and feel that at least they can give me an explanation as to why this renewal has gone so much in one year, and they do not even have the decency to do that. ****** *****

      I was charged for a product called Max benefits and after purchasing it I started filling out all of the questions and was not pleased and did not go any further with the the questions that was being asked so I stopped an called Turbo Tax right a way to tell them that I wanted to get a refund on this product. I just got a returned email saying that they couldn't give me a refund. This to me is bad business for Turbo Tax and they should brake away from Intuit, Inc.

      I have been using QuickBooks Online for my business for the better part of 6 years. Over the past year the customer service assistance has become horrible. When calling a majority of the time you aren't speaking to someone from ***************** and a majority of the customer service personnel aren't very knowledgeable on how QuickBooks and it's features work. In the past two days I placed at least 10 calls per day into QuickBooks trying to get assistance in disputing a charge that our company paid for but didn't receive the service and it was nothing but a headache. Half of the agents couldn't understand what I was asking for assistance with, a quarter of them "weren't able to find this transaction" even after provided the reference ID and the last quarter were willing to help but couldn't get me to the proper department. One agent attempted to tell me that you can't dispute a payment you send to a vendor because QuickBooks does not support outbound wire transfers, keep in mind I use the QuickBooks Checking account provided by ******************** to pay all my vendors. That same agent then tried to tell me that I can't be provided a case ID for today's interaction because that would be a breech of security. The price you pay to use QuickBooks isn't worth it anymore and the lack or service you receive makes it even harder to warrant paying that monthly subscriptions. They definitely don't care about our small businesses and if they put you out of business for holding funds or randomly taking money from your account they want to insist that it's not their fault. This company makes it very hard for any small business to succeed in today's economy.

      1 star because its a requirement to leave a star rating. I have been using Intuit Quickbooks for a long time now, ***************************************** position where I am forced to continue using their products for another year while I find a resolution to get rid of them. The price for this service has doubled since 2023 to $1000 plus taxes. I use this for basic accounting. Its not connected to my bank accounts or paying payroll. I dont want to go online and use the online service. I am just fine using the desktop version. After spending a large amount of my valuable time speaking to several people I cannot understand- I finally got to the area where " you can negotiate the price for what you need" This person told me MY DEAL was $1400 for basic accounting under their new "Enterprise BS": .... AND if I did not continue to pay for the subscription, I wouldn't be able to access my information because they forced me out of my standalone so now I am stuck. I cannot believe that they can legally withhold my information that I have been collecting in this program for 16 years. If you are looking into utilizing QuickBooks for your business, I highly recommend looking into other options. They are not customer based. They have very shady business practices. They are not even in the U.S by the sound of their phone operators. You have to pay extra for support that is sub par quality. Its very unfortunate because I was a big fan of the accounting software

      They are charging people for the federal tax return when its supposed to be free to file under the disguise of your paying for the turbo tax assistance and I did not want to pay for it.

      I have been trying to sign in for three weeks now and I am unable to do so as the site claims that there is an error on their end. There is no chat function or any human help at all on their AI telephone system. I have used them for decades and now I do not have access to all of my files. What a horrible experience. I am not sure how I am going to be able to do my taxes this year because I have used TurboTax for so long. I will not use them again.
