    Unfortunately, my mother had an issue with Home Warranty Services where she had canceled her contract but was still charged two times in error after the cancelation. When I called Home Warranty Services, ***********************, a customer service representative for **********************, was able to quickly determine the problem and see that my mother was owed a refund for those two charges. ****************** provided excellent customer service by being nice, courteous and going above and beyond, and he expedited the refund to quickly resolve the matter. I truly appreciate his assistance in this matter. I give ****************** five stars for his customer service.

    Jan. 2024, received a call from Home Warranty Services offering us a contract with the company. The particulars were: initial payment of $295, charge to my credit card on 1/2/2024. First payment of $276.39, due 2/2/2024, occurring each month for 18 months (a three yr. plan) $75 deductible for each service call; wait 30 days before making a service call. Note: $276.39 was charged to my card. Twenty days later, I received contract. I read it and realized that we could not afford this plan. Most of the items covered were items I had replaced in 2023 under my old warranty plan. Other items on plan, my husband can replace. Feb. 22, 2024, I called Home Warranty Services to explain my predicament, I explained that I could not afford this plan and wanted to cancel. I was told that I would get a return call - but didn't. 2/22/2024, my husband spoke to **************** no help there either. March 5, 2024, called customer service, twice and was cut off both times. Don't know why. March 20, 2024, spoke with Home Warranty Services, explained my troubles and my p[an was re-negotiated, with a military discount, to $204.29 a month. I asked if it could be lowered more. I was told they had to make money too and that I lived in a beautiful home/neighborhood - those prices are conducive to my neighborhood. I told them I didn't have a problem with them making money, I just could not afford the price--to no avail. About three days later, I got a call from Home Warranty Services, with a new price of $168,00 a month, I accepted and was charged immediately to my card. Home Warranty told me to ignore payment notices I was receiving - shred them. I did not shred them. I really would like to cancel my contract; I have lost faith in their service! Please help me if you will! So much more to my story but ran out of space. Thank you for the opportunity to vent.

    CS has review the file, Per conversation 03/22/24, we let the customer know she will be receiving a cancellation notice from the finance company at the end of the billing cycle.. no funds or further contract will be taken.     I WILL be happy with *********************** if indeed the contract is cancelled. I only have a verbal cancellation number and I await an email confirming the cancellation.When I receive the email I will be happy with ****'s service.
