      I have been living in a Mynd managed apartment for almost a year now, and I really don't have any complaints. Every service order I have put in for has been promptly addressed, and management hasn't bothered me about anything. They are flexible and have worked with me when it comes to pets. I have heard an elderly resident complaining because their e-management style (using an app to communicate with them) is difficult for them, but for me this is not an issue.

      We rented from this company from 2021-2022. We paid $1500 for security deposit. We just got our deposit back. We received less than half of our deposit back. They took $350 for a full cleaning, the house was cleaned but us, practically spotless before turning in our keys. They also took out $100 to replace a light bulb, and a smoke detector battery. There was a small place on the wall that required some touch up paint, they took out $533 for this. When questioned about these charges, they blatantly ignored our questioning. Wish I would have read the reviews of this company before renting. I highly suggest avoiding this company, unless you want to be scammed out of your deposit.

      I wish we hadn't gone with this company. They have taken an extremely long time to get any repairs done and now they are refusing to fix a hazardous issue in the yard. We've waited weeks for repairs to be made, crews to be no-shows. In *******, legally they need to make repairs to ensure the home is in safe, livable conditions, as an attorney advised us, however the backyard is full of broken glass, trash, nails, and other construction pieces. They sent a single worker out with a trash can, after waiting days on end for help. When asked what we do when there is more, because anytime it rains or the dog runs back there the upturned (and flooding) causes more to surface, they told us to just submit another request. And of course after the next rain, I found a handful of glass while letting the dog out. I can't keep putting in service request for them to take 2 weeks and then have someone put a bandaid on a gushing wound. When we first moved in, we couldnt get the keys because they gave us the wrong code. We couldn't get a hold of anyone and when we called the emergency line, were on hold for over a half hour.. AN EMERGENCY LINE ... we also had no running water and then the ** leaked through the ceiling. It took us over 3 weeks to get them to acknowledge the growing mold to replace the panels. We have told friends and people in our social network and homeschool co-ops to stay far far far away from MYND. We have also submitted for legal help due to the fact they're response rate is so slow. Due to the requests and time we've spent waiting, my husband and I had to take numerous days off work (my husband even postponed his new job start date) to sit around for crews who never showed. The only reason a manager took over the issues was because I continuously posted about them on social media showcasing the issues they've yet to fix... My advice... find a different company. Stay far far away from MYND and if you have issues, find a lawyer to help you deal with them.

      Mynd has been running me around in circles for a month. My AC went out and my landlord and mynd approved a reimbursement for portable units since it was 97 degrees in my house. So they tell us to get 2 units each unit could be $300. So i do this and now they are flat out refusing to credit me. I have asked multiple times but they keep telling me theyll update me once they have it but ive been hearing that for weeks. tHE BEST PART is they took the ac units so now theyve basically stolen from me. They also took THREE WEEKS to fix a sink that kept falling apart and wasnt usable. No kitchen sink for THREE WEEKS. Every single experience I have had with them has been horrible. I will be filing in court as well as filing a police report for theft since they stole from me.
