Terrible company to rent from! They do not care about there tenants at all, when you need service done it takes forever to get someone to actually help and when they will finally get a company to do the work it is ALWAYS the absolute cheapest laziest labor Ive ever seen. We experienced our AC broke and leaked from our ceiling and it was about to fall through and it took a days to get someone out to help and that is in ******* in late August..

I started my contact with MYND in June 2024. They leased my property in August 2024. I'm ready to cancel my contract in September 2024. Here's why: POOR COMMUNICATION and ACCOUNTABILITY. When I turned over my keys to make my home rent-ready, I paid MYND almost $5,000 to prepare the home, although we had many renovations already completed. I received notices from the city and my HOA that trash had not been removed (although it was listed in my initial inspection when the home was turned over to MYND and included in the $5k bill to prepare the house for listing), and the grass was never cut. So, I'm trying to understand why I was charged $120 AGAIN in August for trash removal when the renters moved in. When I asked, I was told it would be looked into. I still haven't received any communication about it. In September, my renter wrote a bad check. MYND is responsible for finding renters and is supposed to find credible renters. They have not paid an entire month's rent. I continuously asked for updates to learn that the renters wrote a lousy check one week after payment. What type of vetting of renters does MYND do for this to occur immediately after moving in? Service requests submitted by the renters have been marked as completed, some as severe as the **** unit not correctly cooling the home. MYND has yet to provide me with any updates about what repairs, if any, were completed. I'm always talking to someone different who doesn't have answers or know what's going on. When I shared that I wanted to cancel my contract (which requires 30-day notice), I was told that my September disbursement would be held ***** days after the last management date. MYND has not communicated to me when the last date of management is. If I gave 30 days' notice after September 10th, why are you holding September's disbursement? Don't waste your time or energy. They do not take your investments seriously and do not care about your finances.

Warning to vendors, stay away from this company. Especially now that ****** ******** is the rehab & turns rehab in the ***************** area. Between ****, the inspector, and her, they have an agreement to assign the contracts on to their relatives and to the unscrupulous contractors who alter the inspection reports to charge a high fee to the property owners. They offered other contractors and me to participate in their garbage but we rejected them out of loyalty to the company (Mynd) that gave us work for over 6 years. and what did we get? a kick in the ****, the regional manager or owner has not given us their support or answered the emails with a lot of evidence that we have of the extortion attempts

I moved into a property in ***** where the ** was not working. As an emergency, it took them 2 weeks to get it fixed. They lie and tell you that someone will call you back, they never do. My AC is out again now with temperatures over 100 degrees outside and I'm getting the same "there's nothing we can do we'll call you back" The house is unliveable.

Terrible customer service, you cannot reach the company even after sitting on hold for over an hour. I have tried to call numerous times over the four years I rented with them and could never reach anyone. The final straw for me is the move out experience. We left the house very clean and took care of our house the entire time we lived there yet they have decided to take our entire deposit and are demanding another $500 to repaint the entire house and very large cleaning fee. We should not have to pay to repaint the house, it was left clean and we patched any small nail holes. They are not trustworthy and I would never work with them again.

You can't get in contact with anyone who can actually do anything. **************** is constantly telling me that property manager is in a meeting, another call, will call me back in *****. I get no calls back all day. When they told me I was approved for a home, they said the owner wasn't asking for first months rent just deposit and a prorated rate for the days before the 1st. Then the lease comes in and I'm being required to pay first months in addition to the other fees. They can't even take responsibility for their mistakes. Communication is terrible, customer service is terrible. Their office address in ********** isn't even real! I drove there hoping to get more clarification with a REAL person, face to face and there isn't even a Mynd office in the building.

This property management company has been nothing but a hassle since taking over from the previous property management company. My sister and brother are living in one of their properties and the ** went out the day before yesterday. The only way to contact them is via email. My brother sent them written notice of this issue at 9a and they responded at 230p. It was 108 degrees in AZ yesterday and this is supposed to be considered an emergent situation. The unit is close to 30 years old and my siblings were told that it would need to be replaced sometime soon. However, the only thing they did was replace the capacitor, which is essentially putting a bandaid on the issue. This is the worst time to be without ** and there was no sense of urgency to address this on the property management's priority list. This is not the only issue they have had, but this one tops the list due to the severity of the situation. They are good tenants and pay the rent on time, but once they need something taken care of, the property management company becomes "hard to reach". Do your research before renting any property from this company.

Please be wary of renting with this company. I recently moved into one of their properties and have had nothing but problems since day one. So many issues were present with the property when we moved in that it seems likely they never did an inspection of it beforehand. Notably, the front yard was so overgrown that we received an HOA complaint immediately that Mynd tried to charge us for. Our A/C is still waiting to be fixed even though we've been living here more than three weeks now. All sorts of property was left behind, from paint and old door k*** mechanisms to toilet brushes, birdfeeders, trash, doormats, and ***** electrical equipment. One maintenance person that stopped by to fix things called it "completely unprofessional," saying, "this kind of things makes me want to yell at people" (actual quotes). Perhaps the worst of all this is that the management is either unresponsive or doesn't seem to see the problem. They gave us mail keys but couldn't tell us what number our mailbox was---they had me go to the post office myself. Then I learned that the keys they gave us weren't even the right ones---the management didn't know what they were for and had me go to the post office again to order new ones (which take 1-2 weeks to arrive and cost $45). We still don't have access to our mailbox, and when I sent an emergency maintenance request because I feared sensitive medicine was in it, they ignored it and never got back to me. I can't even seem to get the feedback surveys that they say will be automatically sent to me. I cannot tell if the management is rude and willfully malicious or just rude and inept. Either way, getting anything done with them is beyond frustrating. I am just hoping that maintenance will be finished soon so I hopefully don't have to talk to them again until move-out.
