Horrible company that is just a way for landlords to ignore their tenants. They don't answer service issues but hound relentlessly about renewing a lease six months before it's up.

We moved into a home/a street of duplexes in *****, in 2020. We lived in the home for right at four years and during such time we watched ownership change hands three times, Mynd being current possessors. In February of this year, 2024, our life took a turn. We were late on our rent for the first time ever in April. On the 5th of April we received a notice to vacate. We already knew we were going to have to move as our financial situation changed. Yet this was shocking and truly saddening. We moved within a few days of the letter to vacate (April 9th). Our lease was not up until July and it is was ****** so we understood the wildly large bill that might possibly be received from pulling out of lease early. An ad was placed online by Mynd on April 18th listing the property for rent and the property was rented May 11th.This company missed out on only one month of rent. They, understandably kept our deposit yet sent us a bill totaling nearly six thousand dollars. Mynd basically structured a bill that would wholeheartedly lead one to believe we destroyed the home from top to bottom. I am disgusted and beyond words at the made up damage and replacement listed. Could have used a new coat of paint and some holes filled.all the basic move out maintenance. Yet nothing, absolutely nothing that would warrant six thousand dollars! Is it illegal to charge the remaining balance of rental payments after the home is rented, so cooking up damage charges is a loophole in that? We can point out actual things that could have been or needed to be replaced as we lived in the home for four years and knew every inch of the space. Yet none of those things were mentioned. That is the concern for us. Our deposit money more than covered the things we can not argue with, but apparently thats not good enough for this company.Mynd undoubtedly made up a bill that ironically adds up to the money that they would have received in rent had we fulfilled our lease.

After Mynd taking over our rental in ********, **, it has been nothing but horrible! No maintenance, even when order was submitted. Moved out and had house clean 2 days prior to date. Informed them that we were out and waiting for a walk thru. They messaged us a week later and we were put on a month by month rental and they messaged us that they were taking legal action. We have not heard anything from them and it has been a month. Terrible, terrible people

I have never had an experience this bad dealing with a company. I move into a beautiful home that was not ready, not cleaned and over half the home didn't work or was falling apart. Whomever inspected this home didn't do their job, who ever prepped the home before we moved in didn't do their job. Now whoever I speak with just drops the ball and doesn't do their job. The communication with this company is horrible. When you try to call them you get no where and when you schedule a call with them, they never call you. I have had to leave my job every week for 4 to 5 hours at a time to meet with a vendor to fix something; however, they want me to pay rent on time. I have had a maintenance person at my home every week and still have some of the same problems. The maintenance personnel has informed me that they would escalate the issue, but they just send out the same people and we continue to be back at square one.. ************ does not respect its customer and it is sad to see. If you have a problem with them good luck because it will never get resolved.

As an investor they have been very responsive and have had competitive rates. I just onboarded a second property with them and the experience has been good.

Although the process is quick, I believe they discriminate on who they let into the properties. I say this because I went through my complete screening with no issues until my credit screening. I did have ONE single collection ($700 and Im making over $80k) but it was already paid and the screening manager received a letter stating that the balance was paid in full. I was told that despite a letter directly from the company, I would need a packet from transunion, a third party, confirming the debt is clear which everyone knows could take 30+ days. Being that I applied for an immediate move in date, I do not have that long. I tried calling the screening manager back but got connected with the general customer service line. I ask him to review my account to see if he could get notes from the screening manager so I could know exactly what information to get from transunion. He gets my information and says yeah. A letter from transunion cant fix your background then proceeds to read more notes and realizes that the screening manger made specific notes about the packet from transunion. I truly believe that because of my background, an incident from *********************************************************************************************************************** the last 5 years. I met and exceeded every requirement. I believe I am being discriminated against due to my past and the screening manager is responsible because its solely her discretion whether I am able to lease or not.

I recently moved into a new home and MYND was and still is very helpful. The customer service has been A+ and their APP for any maintenance, payments and communications is great. This is the best property management company I've dealt with.
