On August 14th, I went in to get my wisdom teeth removed. The day was a fiasco, I wasn't seen until 2 hours after my appointment which was supposed to be 9 am. During my wait they advised no one to leave because they had a medical emergency with another patient. Once being seen, they violated that patient's HIPAA privacy by explaining her medical history and blaming her for needing an ambulance. Then, they proceeded to explain wisdom teeth extraction and go over costs. I had initially asked them if my insurance would cover it all, and they said yes because if you dont show up the day of, it's a fee. Then the manager does a bait and switch and tells me before you go under, we wanted to let you know it will be 3000 dollars. I then responded with I dont want to go through, you told me it was covered entirely and now its not. She then talks to a coworker and tells me we can do 1400; then she gives me a paper to sign that doesn't state a payment of 1400( instead, said 1749). She mentions, My mistake. I meant 1400 off. You can just sign here. I told them what they were doing wasnt right, and you cant fool people into a bait and switch and violate others' HIPAA rights. She said you can leave then and find service elsewhere since I refused to accept a new price. On August 20th, I received a bill for a 150 monthly payment plan. I immediately called them and questioned the receiving charges. The person on the line says it's for my braces under Western Dental Orthodontist account. They said they would close the account and payment due within 15 days since I also have NEVER received braces. They gave me a confirmation to cancel payment: PAR2197305. I called back 2 weeks later, and they said my account was still open and I was being charged 150/ mo. Then I called back today 09/10; my account is still open. It has been over a month since I have dealt with this issue, and I would like help closing my bill and account for things I have not received.

I was a patient at the ************************** Dental on February 2nd 2024. I am reaching out because I am very unhappy with the services that I recieved while visiting this office. On February 15 2024 I received an email saying that I owed $1300 on my synchroy account. I was unaware of what these charges could be since nothing was really done when I was in office so I decided to stop by the office so someone could explain to me what this was.So, I stopped by at the office again on February 19 2024. To which I was explained that the charge was for medication for my gums. I told the staff member that I was never informed of this and she just said "well you signed for it. Maybe next time you should ask questions before signing anything." Not wanting to go in circles with her I asked "Okay so the medication was ordered, I really do not plan on coming back and getting said medication. Do I still have to pay for it." To which she replied "yes." So I asked for customer ******************** number and left.During my examination, I was never informed of any "medication" being needed for my gums. I was told by the dentist and my the patient care coordinator that my gums were not too bad and they could definitely be taken care of. The dentist also said she would heavily recommend flossing more in the back. But, never was I informed of any medication for the gums. I really do not appreciate that I was never properly told about the medication, and futhermore that I have to pay for it when I have no intention of picking it up.I contacted their customer service via email on April *********. They replied on April 17th 2024. and I replied back on April 17th 2024 And now in September I still have no had any follow up. I have tried to communicate various times and no communication is being given back. And I continue to receive texts saying my services are not complete. So I do not understand why I have to pay for incomplete services.

I had 4 dental implants done by Western Dental ************. They created as Carecredit ************** credit card account at 29.9 percent interest for the amount of $7,300 after insurance coverage payout. My insurance provider ****** Permanents Delta Dental states that my cost should be only $3,551 after insurance payout. I submitted a grievance thru ****** Permanente with ****************** ************** and she agrees that I only owe $3,551. I submitted this info to ************************* ************** but they disagree with ****** grievance.

I chose a nearby dentist for a free cleaning and made an appointment at Western Dental for March 1, 2024. At 75, Ive grown leery of scams, but how could I go wrong with a cleaning? But instead of a cleaning, they measured the pockets around my teeth and told me I had to have trays made to wear TWICE A DAY (!) to keep the pockets sterile. (I dont have deep pockets and have good oral hygiene.) Before I knew it, they were placing molds of my upper and lower teeth. They had a hard time pulling the molds off, and when I got home, I noticed that two of my recent fillings had been suctioned out! Instead of polished teeth, I got a bill in the mail for $1.136.00 (which went up to $1,141.00) and realized Id been scammed. I discussed this with the office manager without success. I went to another dentist to have the fillings replaced and was billed $5,447.00 for them, of which my share was $1,373.00. This doesnt seem right to me, but my complaint today is with Western Dental for making molds in the first place. Theyve already sent it to collections, as you can see. I cant afford a blotch on my credit and hope you can ask them not to hurt me that way. Once you turn 65, everyone tries to trick you. Its very saddening.- *************************

On June 24, 2024 My mom ********************* (patient) was scheduled for a bone graph and was told she needed to have the payment up front of $576.00. When we walked in the dental office we met with the billing consultant ***** who took the payment by debit card. Mom was taken back to one of the rooms to have an x-ray on her molar I seen mom and her caregiver walk towards me that the surgery was canceled because the x-rays showed there was no bone in that rooted area. I asked to see the x-rays and the dental assistant showed me there was no bone. Then I asked ***** when would we be receiving the refund back, ***** mentioned that it would be 3 to 5 business days approximately 2 weeks at the latest. I was not happy with that because mom needed her money m m. She is elderly and doesnt have that kind of money to be given out and it not be retired in a timely manner. However, we tried calling almost everyday to see who would be able to talk to us regarding this matter. I was told to contact the office manager ***********************. I called more than several times and left messages with ******* (receptionist). I was told she would return my call after she returned from lunch, but didnt receive anything from her. I proceeded to call over and over again and still nothing. This went on for weeks still no call back. I spoke again to ***** who handles the billing she mentioned *********************** told her it would take another month possibly by end of August *******. I then sent a certified letter to *********************** office manager to please return my call so I can have some answers. ***** returned my call finally to tell me that she would send the refund today August ******* to give 2 days so that the refund would show in my account but again nothing. I contacted her again by phone and ******* receptionist mentioned she was busy with consultations. Again no answers and no refund. I then felt I was getting the run around. I contacted WD grievance ***** spoke to ***** she said to wait another week

Id like to file a complaint against this office since *********** is terrible. Always rescheduling appointments without notice or canceling appointments last minute also without notice. Sometimes they dont even have a doctor in the office and they dont notify you until you check in for your appointment. Ny daughter was scheduled to have an appointment August 15 2024 at 4:30 pm, but when we arrived at the office they were already closed. This has happened numerous times. My daughter was also supposed to get her braces off in April ********************************************************************* as of August 2024. I will be taking her to a different dental corporation due to her teeth NOT improving even after 2.5 years with her braces. The last appointment they gave and saw her at was May 2024.The overall customer service is very poor and they never take the customers time into consideration. Cooperate is also not much help, I made a complaint with ***** at cooperate at western dental headquarters but they refused to take my complaint. He also refused to give me his full name and didnt leave my complaint on file. *********** needs to be shut down immediately.

They charged me well over 2 grand and when I read the charges they never gave me anesthesia, so why are they charging me, they gave me local and pulled them puppies out and I called corporate twice and they never got back to me, but sure enough knew how to charge my account. I put a block on the charge cause I am not paying for what I did not receive. And they tried to do a "deal" with me saying if I got the plasma they would throw in the anesthesia and I did, but again I was left high and dry. I fear getting put in collections and have switched my dental office. They are highly unprofessional, but know how to bill. My first cousin went here and they said she had 16 cavities she went to another for 2nd opinion she had none and just needed gum therapy, disgusting what they are trying to do. I am picking up my records in case you guys need them please do contact me.

I had a dental procedure on 4/19 and was told that I owed a balance of ****** which was handled with ***************** I have called Western Dental multiple times and sent them letters to their office that I am currently making payments of the balance. Western Dental continues to harass me with text messages alerts saying my account is past due, bills every two weeks letting me know I am going to collections and countless phone calls telling me to take care of the balance owed. This is giving me anxiety, stress because I think the situation is handled every time I call to remind them but I am still getting harassed with western dental trying to collect an outstanding balance.
