Temco Logistics ( ** ) is the 3rd party installer used by ************ HD ) I recently purchased 5 new major appliances from HD. Three ** deliveries/installations needed. The 1st two appliances arrived 4/28/2023 with problems I needed to follow up on ( no owner's manuals ; plastic left under the fridge ). The 2nd delivery by ** a clothes washer ( ************** was disastrous. After a test by the ** installer, then a small load of laundry ( after the installer left), my downstairs neighbor had a waterfall coming through the ceiling of her garage. The ** installers returned the same day & the installer said that the ** was "defective". HD opened an insurance claim & a GE Tech came on 5/8/2023. He stated the cause of the leak was an improperly installed ** discharge hose & clamp. There was no defect. HD sent a replacement **, this time with "a more experienced installer" at **. This was done 5/11/2023. The 3rd ** delivery, my new dishwasher (**) ,was installed on 5/9/2023 by a 4th ** team ( different people every team ). I asked the ** team to place my new Everbuilt pan under the ** to catch leaks I showed the installer the pan had a slant, with one side being in front of the ** & the other side of the pan in the back WITH A RIDGE to hold water. The installer gave me verbal pushback, but finally placed it under the built in **. After the two installers left I double checked the placement of the pan. It was installed backwards, meaning water could be leaking long before I was able to see it!Early 5/10/2023, I had ********* set up 5/18/2023 to turn the the pan under ** . On 5/11/2023 ( "more experienced" installer was here ), I asked him to look at the improperly installed pan under the **, but he left without checking.After all of the water remediation, dryers, cut drywall, flooring, ( & reconstruction to come ) , I insist ** send "a more experienced installer" on 5/18/2023 in order to correct the pan placement under my ** . ** has been a nightmare!Business Response

I do apologize for the highly frustrating experience you have had with your deliveries and installs. I do see that you have an open order set for 5/18 and I will forward over your complaint to the Regional for this area to have this addressed. Please keep in mind that Temco does have a policy against installing or placing drip pans in place for units due to the exact reason you are experiencing. However, since we did accommodate your request, despite the Technician advising you that we do not do this, I will ask that the location ensure the pan is correctly placed under the unit.

On May 12, 2022 Temco was hired by Richmond American Homes to come to our new construction home to finish installing our hood over our range in our kitchen. While installing the hood, they damaged our new refrigerator. They put a dent on the middle drawer of the refrigerator. The employee (seen in the photo) recorded the incident and reported to his supervisor. I reported the issue with our home specialist at Richmond American Homes. Both our home specialist and Temco have been playing games for over a year and not resolved this issue. They will call me when the home specialist reaches out to them and have asked me to provide them with information for the refrigerator about 3 to 4 times now. After I send Temco the serial number and info, I do not hear from them. I try calling and they tell me that there is no claim for this issue. Our home specialist at Richmond has completely gone silent and cannot get a hold of anyone at Richmond to help with this. That is why it has taken over a year for me to file this complaint. I did not know this was an option until recently and I'm tired of not being able to get help from either Richmond or Temco. I'm hoping the BBB can assist me in this matter. I have spent so many hours off work to come meet Temco at my house so they can install the hood and every time, they end up damaging something new. The previous times they damaged my dishwasher handle and upper cabinets. They fixed those because the dishwasher and cabinets were installed and purchased by ********. Since our refrigerator was purchased by my wife and I at Best Buy they have failed to fix the problem. I have provided pictures of the incident. Two Temco employees (Anson) delivered a dishwasher from *********** They could not get it to work (after only attempting 5 minutes). They said they were going to leave and I needed to call a technician at which time I told them I was refusing delivery of broken appliance. They were very mad and left without properly hooking up the old dishwasher. Water has been leaking since they left. I have called the company to speak to manager but no one calls me back. I am left with water pouring out in bottom of sink. This incompetence is outstanding.Business Response

I am rejecting this response because:This is basically a non-resonse from *********************************. "I need to obtain more information as to why the unit was left like that". This response is simply parroting the chain of events. I see no direct action from Temco. The 2 employees were so belligerent that I asked the Apartment Manager to come to my apartment while they were still in my home. I am absolutely certain that I would never have been spoken to like that if I was a man or my husband home. Guaranteed.
I was left with leaky sink from Friday to Monday because there was no action taken by Temco although i made contact with local contact, ***. It took 3 visits from Temco to resolve the damage and leaky sink. The one standout in this was **** who ultimately repaired the damage the initial employees created. Bottom line - 3 visits from Temco and no new dishwasher. I highly suspect the new one from ********** was working but the 1st 2 employees couldn't figure out how to start it. It was Friday....their goal simply was to get off work early and sloppiness and speed was going to be acceptable.

Temco started receiving numerous emails starting on 04/01, 04/02, and 04/03. We then received several phone calls from ********** associates regarding this order between the days of 04/02-04/10 Then the customer filed a ******************** complaint and continued to reach out via email to Temco directly. As this order is located in ******, every single bit of correspondence was sent to location management for them to research, resolve, and update the necessary persons as to the status of this order. As of 04/10, all parties were notified that this situation had long since been remedied. The team at issue faced disciplinary action and some re-training on how to properly handle a situation as this and how to avoid further frustrating the matter. The team also went through some customer care training with one of our Senior Directors so that they are addressing customer concerns in a correct fashion.
We are extremely apologetic for the frustration you have had with the delivery, install, and subsequent repair. The behavior the team exhibited while in your home was completely acceptable and when you reached out, it created a teaching moment for the entire location. While we always appreciate a moment to learn from a mistake; however, we would have preferred to not have happened at the cost of your faith in Temco Logistics.

Called ********** to delivery techs resolve issue with washer and dryer that I purchased. Temco is responsible for delivery of ************ appliances. Something their office has messed up twice now taking down the wrong information. The 2nd attempt just occurred and instead of calling me to say we are here they supposedly called their office and told them they can't park anywhere to deliver. All they need to do is communicate with the person whom they are delivering to so they can make the delivery. I have wasted 2 days now just trying to get an appliance delivery. They stated no parking with a wide open truck loading zone in front of the building. Their attempt to make a delivery was none. And their office gave me excuses like. They couldn't park, there were too many homeless around, and they couldn't leave it unattended. All none of which was true had they just called me I was right inside and could have taken them from their truck myself in the open loading zone with nobody around.Business Response

From looking into this order it seems that there were some direction issues which resulted in the team to be sent to the wrong city. However, when they did get to the correct address, it was requested that the item be left on the porch. This is against Temco policy due to the possibility of the units left outside either being damaged by weather, debris, or people, as well as missing units. The unit is set to be delivered to a mall on 04/11/2023. I have forwarded the information to the location so that they are aware this is a high escalation and the utmost care must be taken with it.

My mom (***********************) ordered a whirlpool washer and dryer from ********** in *************. Upon delivery her washer and dryer were delayed, finally my mom ended up getting her washer but not her dryer. After a week 1 1/2 delay she finally ended up getting her dryer. My mom finally got her dryer but the delivery driver said that there was not a lift kit in the order to stack her dryer, the driver and my mom were disputing back and forth because the original order she has had the lift kit but the driver said it wasnt the right one, once the driver left my mom checked online to see if the lift kit she had was the right one and it was. My mom was so disappointed that I took over the responsibility for her so I scheduled an appointment for March 17th to have them Come back out to install the dryer, March 17th came they reminded my mom that the driver was going to be at her house between the hours of 2-6 pacific the never showed up.Business Response

Temco arrived with my dishwasher to install with two men. After 2 1/2 hours, they were still unable to install it because, "They didn't give us the right tools or parts to do this install." One of the men had his head under the sink looking to see where/how to install when he said, "Ooops" followed quicky by, "Your sink broke but I didn't do it." Sure enough, the *** piping was pulled off and would not go back on. He said he didn't do anything - that it broke on its own. Then, two more men, training supervisors they were called, showed up and told the two men they were installing it wrong, here's how to do it right. They apologized to me and suggested I call Temco to get the installation fee refunded. He said that they should not have broken the sink and he apologized. The first guy (the one who broke the sink) ******* said he did not break it. The training supervisor looked at me and again said he was sorry and that the company should fix the sink - just call them. I tried calling the number he gave me, but it was to *********** not Temco. I told them what was happening and they put me on hold, calling Temco. When the ********** person came back on the line, he had ****, the ** of Temco, on the line. **** was very apologetic and asked me what he could do to make things right. I told him to properly install the dishwasher, fix my sink and refund the installation. He said yes of course and that he would have someone here 'first thing' the next day. Today is the next day and it is 3:14 PM with no one here to fix the problem. I have called the Temco numbers on the web and either the phone just rings and rings, or it goes directly into an answering machine that gives no option to leave a message. I am astounded that ********** would contract with a company like this. I need my dishwasher installed and my sink fixed - this is absolutely unacceptable.Business Response

I bought and new washer and dryer from *********** The first delivery team was on time but the installation was done incorrectly. The installers did not tighten the water valves and that resulted in a lot of water damage to the units below me. Including dry wall, possible mold, and a new carpet. I called to look into having this issue resolved and they were able to have someone come out to reinstall the washer and dryer. I was supposed to be the first one on the list that day and was told they would be there by 8. At 9:30 they still hadnt shown up. I called and they told me they would be there between 10:30-12. I had already waited on a time sensitive errand and I needed go. I asked to speak to a manager but was told they were both in a meeting I demanded they call me back but I never heard from them. The installers did come with no call ahead and I wasnt there. I told the installers they had to wait. And they seemed very annoyed. I did have a friend near by to let them in but the fact that they couldnt accommodate me when they had already damaged property was very frustrating. Especially when the managers couldnt be bothered to call me back. Lastly and probably the most frustrating part is the process in which I am supposed to file a claim. They gave me a name of a company and the claim process is very confusing. I asked to speak to someone in the office that might be able to assist me but no one knew anything about it. Also the managers were surprise surprise off for the day. Are there actually any managers in this office? The company ******* where I am supposed to file a claim also has no one to speak to all I could do was leave a message. I called Temco corporate office during business hours and the phone just rang and rang for 2 minutes. I called 4 times and no one ever answered. This all seems very shady and I am now feel like Im on the hook for all this damage to my neighbors property.Business Response

From looking over your order, I see that the issue was resolved as of 02/13/2023 and the team did call in to advise of what happened with the previous team resulting in the leak. I also see your claim was transferred over to Sedgewick which is the claims company for *********** At this time, Temco would not be able to assist with the claim. Sedgewick will usually contact our ***************** and based upon the information provided, your claim would be processed. I have looked into the original team that caused the damage and will follow up with the location management to have this addressed. Again, I do apologize for the experience you have had; however, I do appreciate you reaching out so that this may be avoided in the future.

I purchased an appliance from Home Depot on 1/08/2023. Home Depot used Tempco Logistics to deliver my appliance. On 1/27/2023 we received a text message stating our appliance would be delivered between 8am and 12 pm. I set my alarm for 7:55 am and called off of work so that I would be readily available to receive my delivery. Tempco Logistics employee arrived at 7:13 am and left at 7:16 am. Not allowing me enough time to get dressed and answer the door in appropriate clothing. I called the ***** number on my Home Depot receipt and they informed me that the driver had not stopped at my home (he didn't log it in). Their computer showed that the driver was at his second stop and that I was his third stop. I then received a text message at approximately 8:27 am that they were unable to deliver my appliance. I called the 1-800 number again and was told the driver logged that he had arrived at 8:16 and there was no answer. Several Home Depot management and customer service representatives attempted to work with this company to fix it. Your response was that I was lying. Even with video evidence of your employee showing up at 7:13 am you refused to have my appliance delivered. If they were scheduled to deliver and install my equipment and they were ahead of schedule, how would you not be able to fit my delivery in? Your driver lied and manipulated the system you use. Not only did I have to take time off work for 1/28 I will have to take time off work again on Monday since you had to reschedule! All of this because your DRIVER is a liar and apparently a thief he was paid on company time. I hope I never have to deal with your delivery company again.Business Response
