TEMPCO is a third part delivery service for **********.We had a delivery time of between 1 and 5 today. It was not delivered, nor would they respond to our calls for explanation of NON DELIVERY.This company has the worst customer **********************, and it shows by there low reviews by other ********** customers. I understand TEMPCO hires the bottom of the barrel level of employees, but I don't understand why ********** would continue to contract with such a LOW GRADE company.Business Response

Appliances still came out damaged. TEMPCO management promised some sort of compensation for the first set of damaged items and lost time for delivery a day late. We have yet to see and COMPENSATION.
TEMPCO warehouse is mishandling and damaging appliances.
TEMPCO just received the ********** contract on Black Friday, and are OVERWHELMED and unable to properly handle warehousing and delivery of appliances according to ********** Management.
I will await for said COMPENSATION.

We received a redelivery for the 4th time of appliances, to only receive another Damaged refrigerator AND DAMAGED FLOOR TILE. The delivery personal (Mexican dude) was in such a hurry, that he damaged the refrigerator and our floor tile and failed to put the front door back up correctly. The African American gentleman was pleasant and informative in how to file a claim.Business Response

Temco was commissioned through Home Depot to provide a major appliance delivery. The team has failed to deliver the appliances that have already been paid for and are in their possession. I've called Home Depot over 20 times to faciltate delivery and the Temco team has failed to deliver the appliances. I've had to reschedule several appointments to be available for the delivery and the Temco fails to complete the order. I would like an immediate delivery and full compensation on this order. This is creating stress and anxiety due to having a newborn. We are having to drive 30 minutes away to be able to wash and dry laundry.Business Response

I can confirm the appliances were delivered on the 13th. We are asking for compensation due to the delays. The lack of response from the Temco team was unacceptable. I spent nearly 15 hours on the phone trying to confirm the delivery over 3 weeks. I rescheduled several appointments to be available on the days that the delivery was scheduled and the team failed to show up. We were forced to travel 30 minutes away to launder clothes at a relatives home 10x of the course of the 3 weeks. This was the worst experience I've ever had to deal with a vendor. Customers should not have to go through this for a simple delivery. We are requesting that we be reimbursed the $2000 for the appliances due do these issues.

While we are very apologetic to your frustrations, Temco will not be reimbursing you the cost of the appliances that have been in your possession since 12/13/2022. At this time, you have received a 15% mark down and a $500 gift card from the vendor. There is no further level of compensation being offered at this time. A copy of the notes from the order showing customer escalating seeking additional funds is attached. Temco is closing the matter on this case.

Temco is failing to take responsibility for the debacle that happened with my delivery. They kept my property for nearly a month in which they failed to deliver on multiple attempts. The amount of time and energy it required to receive an appliance I paid for is unacceptable. We are requesting the remainder of the cost of the appliance be reimbursed($1000) for this nightmare experience. We had to move multiple appointments some of which had to be rescheduled to January due to the holidays. I had to spend gas money and personal time to drive to a relatives house do my laundry because of the botched deliveries on numerous instances. I also spent close to 20 hours on the phone with customer service to confirm and reschedule deliveries. This has all been documented on the order. No customer should have to go through this horrendous experience. This was only further exacerbated with having a newborn. I felt stress and anxiety due to the manner that Temco handled my order. Being able to have clean clothes is a necessity with a newborn and we made every attempt to make ourselves available to receive it in a timely manner. TemcoLogistics delivery truck entered my rural driveway on 10/28/2022 ignoring my 5 No-Trespassing signs. I had no delivery scheduled. The truck damaged my driveway. I contacted TemcoLogistics and on 11/16/2022 we agreed on a $200 settlement. I signed the release form and was told (email) that it was received and a check would be mailed. The agreement said it would be paid within 15 days. Today is day 20 and I have not received a check.
I contacted TemcoLogistics yesterday and was told they had the claim, agreed it would be paid and they would check it out and call me back. I received no call back. Today I called again and was unable to reach the claims rep.
I have all the emails and the settlement document if you need copies.
Considering how hard it is to contact anyone at TL, I believe they are avoiding the $200 payment they already agreed to in writing. Please help.Business Response

I contacted HomeDepot (whom TemcoLogistics delivers for) and the HomeDepot manager contacted Temco and within an hour, I had an email from Temco with a FedEx overnight tracking number. I got and cashed the check the next day. The check was dated 12/7/2022 meaning it was issued that day due to the call from HomeDepot.Initial Complaint

If I could give negative 10,000 stars as a review I would! WORST EXPERIENCE EVER from this company of Temco Logistics, that Home Depot farms their delivery service out to! TERRIBLE customer service from both Home Depot big box store AND was NOT informed that they contract out their appliance delivery! I have waited over 6 WEEKS to get my refrigerator. They missed the first scheduled day, then they brought a damaged NEW unit 2 weeks ago so could not install it. This is my THIRD attempt wasting my entire day waiting for these clowns! THIRD time emptying out my refrigerator/freezer, and I did not even get to pick my delivery day or window!!! I missed my son's State Competition today because I had to wait for my delivery from "9:30am to 1:30pm", so was going to it after my delivery, and that I "would get a call from Temco when they are 30 minutes away". It is now 4:04pm, no call, and am on hold AGAIN with Home Depot big box store for almost an hour trying to get some answers. DO NOT USE HOME DEPOT big box home improvement retailer because you will be beyond frustrated while they could care less! NEVER going to Home Depot again and filing a complaint with the BBB because both of these companies bait and switch and still don't have my appliance!Business Response

I apologize for the highly frustrating situation you had to deal with in trying to get your fridge delivered. After reviewing the order, it does seem that the unit was damaged and had to be sent back to the manufacture, i.e. Electrolux/Frigidaire and for them to send a new unit back out for you. As Temco is only a holding facility for these units, we do have to wait on manufacturers to send us the necessary items. However, it does also seem that Temco failed to notify you that the unit was not received by the location handling your delivery in time to meet the delivery expectation that was set. For this i must again apologize and assure you that this has been fully addressed with the location staff. I am currently waiting on confirmation of your order and requesting it to be white glove inspected as well as heavily monitored on 12/17 when it is currently set for delivery. This has been a true nightmare and this company hides behind Home Depot customer service. But this was not Home Depots fault, this is all Temco.
I purchased a new washing machine on homedepot.com with install over a week ago. I schedule the next available delivery which was 11-23-22.
I received a email with a window between 12 pm and 4 pm.
I schedule my busy work day to be at the house waiting
I got a call from the driver at 1 pm saying he was 10 minutes away......
4 pm I call him back no answer
4:15 pm I get a email saying sorry that we missed you, our driver is at your house but nobody was home. This is a lie, I was there at the front of my house waiting for 4 hours. When I call back to home depot they remark that it is strange that the driver did not take any pictures of a delivery tag like they are suppose too.
Home depot reschedules for 11-25 delivery.
Temco does not show up. After waiting an hour on hold I am told by Home Depot that Temco does not do next day deliveries so now I have to wait until Monday 11-28. I would like to point out that my machine is on their truck on the 11-23 and that Saturday 11-26 is three days after, NOT NEXT DAY!
Temco driver lied and this company has no reason to make up for it because they are hidden from the customers. The home depot customer service lady said I was not suppose to know who TEMCO is but she let it slip.
SO I want the public to know who these people are and what kind of shady business they are running. As a construction professional I take pride in my customer service. Customer loyalty is build when problems happen and good businesses go above and beyond to correct the issue.

Employee treatment of customer:
Employee belittled me and made me feel like an ***** for not being aware that this company couldn't install appliances. I asked who to contact about having them installed and what my next steps should be and he yelled at me. Told me if I had anything else to say about it he would leave with my appliances. After this I asked to speak with his boss who advised me to uninstall this appliances myself and they could take the old ones. I tried to do this ask quickly as possible. During this time the employee brought and 1 of the 3 appliances ordered and tried to leave with the other 2 still on the truck. I had to speak with his boss again to get him at least leave the appliances at my house. He refused to wait for me to disconnect the other 2 that he was supposed to be hauling away. He then laughed at me on his way out while I was trying to figure out how to disconnect the gas line and water for the dishwasher. Stating and I quote "yeah you can just put those outside when your done maybe someone will get them for you"
I'm 5'5 weigh all of 145lbs and don't have the physical strength to move this stuff alone without equipment or people to help me.Business Response

Temco is a contractor for home-depot. Their job is to deliver and install appliances. Bought my washer and dryer on Oct 31 and was to be deliver the following Saturday. They cancelled the delivery and made it for Monday without asking me. Strike one. They called me on Monday saying they can't deliver because of rain. I took off work to be home. Strike two. They made another date for a week later, showed up but missing parts. Had to come back to finish the install. Strike three. Then shown up another week later only to wire the dryer incorrectly. I hired an electrician to fix their mistake and called Home Depot to complain. They ought to pay for the electrician.$200. Horrible company.Business Response

We purchased a dishwasher through ********** and had it installed January 18, 2022 by Temco, the company ********** hired for the install. Within 24 hours we found 3 minor install issues that we fixed ourselves. Fast forward - Saturday, April 23, 2022. We needed to pull the dishwasher out to remove tile from beneath it, but to do so, we needed to remove the hose that goes to the dishwasher air gap. Because the hose was too short, we had to uninstall it to move the dishwasher to get to the old tile. When my husband removed the hose he saw that the dishwasher air gap ****** fitting was crushed; it appeared that the installers tightened the hose clamp far beyond the air gap ****** capacity. We pulled out our dishwasher to remove the tile that it sat upon and noticed the bottom part of the dry wall was wet and had a decent amount of black mold. The floor underneath the dishwasher was damp so we pulled the dishwasher out some more only to reveal that the cabinetry to the left of the dishwasher was saturated and soggy. We found the "proper" channels to address the issue (or so we thought). ********** referred us to Sedgwick, ******** referred us to Temco. It took 3 months to even hear from Temco. They finally admitted fault based off the evidence. Removal of the lower cabinets, drywall, and also damage remediation to the adjoining bathroom wall took place by a company we hired, mold remediation& drywall install completed. When it came time to replace the cabinets, they turned it over to their insurance. Guess what? Their insurance has a clause that states ********** APPLIANCE INSTALL DAMAGE IS EXCLUDED FROM COVERAGE. So here I am since the beginning of October with no lower cabinets or dishwasher! I've been going through so many hoops and have been beyond patient. I have a lot more information to give but I'm limited on space. Something needs to happen as they do not have coverage for ********** installs. ********** doesn't seem to care (reported at 4 different levels).Business Response

Home Depot has sent Temco to my Unit 5 times. Temco is unprofessional and has delivered a refrigerator damaged to me 4 times! This last time TEMCO came to switch the doors) which they should have done on the FIRST order (which was damaged) and the technicians took 1.5 hours (for a door change) and during installation of the door they tore off my molding on the bottom of my kitchen wall.
I need both companies to act professional and SEND A RUSH on my order. This is completely unacceptable and not rocket science to deliver a UNDAMAGED appliance correctly the FIRST time, without damaging my Home!
I have lost time, money and sleep dealing with TEMCO. The technicians that they send are very unprofessional and do not know how to interact with customers. Home Depot and TEMCO need to deliver a new refrigerator (that is not damaged and that's doors open properly), and fix the molding on my wall and paint my wall (from their damage).Business Response

As of 11/15/2022, all attempts to resolve this matter have been exercised. The customer has filed an insurance claim, has been given $150 cash compensation from their point of purchase. Temco is scheduled to pick up the unit on 11/28 with approval from the vendor. This was previously attempted on 11/04 but the customer was not home and the team was left on standby outside of the customer's home. The vendor, Samsung, has rescheduled the pick up of the units for 11/28. We will work with the location to get the units picked up sooner if the customer will allow it.
