      We signed the contract for solar panels and a battery with this company back in august 2022. We were told they should be installed and running by October at the time we signed. We were hoping to get the tax credit for 2022 they were not installed until late January.. that we eventually found out was due to a delay in getting the battery. This should have been communicated from the start of this transaction. It is now almost May 2023 and our solar panels and battery are still not activated. The most frustrating part is the lack of communication from the company regarding the issue. Our so called project manager ***** is completely useless and incompetent in getting anything done for us and never seems to be reachable. We regret going with this company. Weve already paid over $13,600 and we are losing money every day the panels and battery are not working. We are terrified for what the future holds with these panels sitting on our roof and if we could get our money back and start over with a different company we would.

      I am really wondering how SunPower has a 4.25 out of 5 stars rating. Add me to the list of customers without solar power. My Inverter is bad and I have not had any solar power produced by my system since last September. I have been told that the inverter required for my system is no longer being produced and that they are trying to find one. Meanwhile, I am being billed every month by SunPower, who takes the money directly out of my account. I also have had to purchase power from our local provider at top rates since I am classified as a solar customer.Currently, I have filed complaints with the ************************ and the *************************************** I will be submitting a complaint with the BBB shortly. I am looking into ************* to get this resolved as SunPower **************** is nonresponsive. I have a case number but the representative assigned to my case will not respond to my emails.

      As a homeowner I have the best fancy ornaments on my home that do not work. 17 solar panels to be exact. I have been going back and for for the past 2 years in an effort to get my solar panels to work and they still are INOP. Over the last 6 months I have had 3 reps come to visit and they have been unsuccessful in fixing their own product. As a customer, I believe it is my right to receive a functional product which I am not in possession of. It is uncalled for that thousands of dollars were spent for solar panels that have not added a single watt of power to my home. I have contacted your customer service team several times and every time I am told that the issue will be resolved, but it never is. Then today 4/25 I receive a email that the case is being closed and the solar panels are still not generating energy. That is unacceptable! I understand that sometimes things do not work as they should, but it has been a long time since these solar panels have not worked. I expected this issue to have been fixed by now but seem to continue getting a run around. It is frustrating that I continue to waste valuable money on electricity bills when I had hoped to reduce my energy costs with 17 panels.There needs to be a better level of clients concerns being escalated and properly handled with car. Beware!

      They are the absolute worst! I have their solar panels on my house that were paid off by the previous owners. We filed all the paper work to move over the warranty. Have already had many issues with the inverters and every time I call they tell me the warranty wasnt moved in my name and that they will fix it. Then never do. Further more. Anytime sometime happens, they always say they will call me in 5 days. And never do. They just dont do anything. Once you have the panels they are pretty much a scam company. Its like pulling teeth to get them to do literally anything.

      I have had a problem with my system since September 2022. I have had 2 service calls, one in November 2022 and another in March 2023. Each time Ive been told that I need a new inverter. I have made numerous calls to SunPower Solar and have gotten the run around each time. I also email them every day with the case number assigned to my broken inverter. They know I need a new inverter but will NOT replace it. My system is NOT producing any power and my electric bills are through the roof, not to mention the monthly auto-deduction than SunPower makes each month. We live in a works of energy efficiency. Im trying to do my part however SunPower Solar is preventing it. I will be reaching out to the ******* ********** of ******* I will also be reaching out to the ** Secretary of Energy, *********************************. I would definitely not recommend SunPower Solar to anyone.

      I have been trying to get support from SunPower for 5 months. We have a problem with our system so I called them and was sent an email with troubleshooting options. I tried all the options and emailed them back few days later. They did not respond. I followed up and again no response. I called them and they confirmed they had received the email and that they would have someone from their scheduling department contact me within 48 hours. I never heard from them. I did this several more times, and they never called back. Then after 4 months I got an email saying to email them back if I wanted to have a tech come out to see the issue. I wrote back immediately, and no response. I emailed again a week later and no response. I called them, they once again confirmed they had my emails and that they are making my case a high priority so that someone will call be back within 24 hours... that was five days ago. I do NOT recommend this company. The customer service is truly the worst I have ever experienced. It's not that the people aren't nice, but 6 months of trying and still no support is unacceptable.

      We decided to go with Sunpower because it seemed like they had a better quality product and a better warranty than the competitors we looked at...unfortunately its been nothing but a nightmare since day one. Scheduling the site inspection should have been my first red flag to back out...i scheduled an appointment online only to have a scheduling glitch in their software causing a headache that wasn't resolved for 1-2 weeks. We got our panels installed about 4-5 months later which was sooner than expected (great!)...that has been the only positive thing that has happened during this project. On Dec 6th i had my solar inspection scheduled with Sunpower only for them to not show up (i took the day off for this). Once the inspection was finally complete, Eversource came to swap my meter about a week or 2 later but I guess there was something incorrect with the wiring (Prod socket wired wrong?). I reached out to my project coordinator and they mentioned they would fix. I asked for updates a few times in December through January only to get seldom responses of a generic message e.g. "I'll get you an update soon." We finally managed to get the fix in place on February 10th only to find out there are more "fixes" that must be done. Here we are now mid April and all I have on my roof is an expensive roof ornament. I've asked for escalation and status updates and all I get are the generic "I'll get you an update soon message." I received an email on 3/27 saying that they would be here last week or this week to perform these fixes but I'm not holding my breath...I haven't heard anything about them scheduling to fix them. Sure, they may have great panels and a warranty but what good are they if they aren't turned on? Stay away from Sunpower. I can't imagine my next 25 years having to deal with them for any warranty repairs.

      11:23 C ***************************** Central ******** . 3 BE AWARE!Nine years ago SUNPOWER installed the panels on our home.On March First 2023 our panels quit working. We called ********* did everything they suggested to reset, but to no avail. They said they would have someone **************. It is now April and no one has showed. They also mentioned that we should continue to pay rent.In every year they have produced less than we were promised, so they have sent a small check to make up for this failure. The check has always been less than our one month rental check.I'm writing this as a warning, since they are advertising here.

      When I was given a sales pitch in my home for installing solar, I was quoted $37,477 for the system. It would be a 20 year loan at $164 per month. I would also need to send them my $11,230 tax rebate or else the monthly payment would increase.I was shocked. I said I would think about it. I was not given any other alternative. I called ******* back a few days later after I had researched and found out that a solar system should cost between $15K and &25K. I told ******* this and he then told me if I paid in cash, the system would cost $25K. I think the company was trying to scam me out of the rebate.I decided against doing business with this company. It also has made me ******* going solar.

      Terrible...you lease panels from them and the contract states they provide technical support and they really don't .They push along the notes and resolve nothing. I have had an issue with the panels and they are aware for the past 4 to 5 months and they are aware of the panels not working and still haven't made an effort to solve the problem. They tell me monitor for 24hrs and in 5 to 7 days I should hear from a tech...which hasn't happened yet. Now I'm having to make 800 dollar payments to the enery company too on the monthly which makes no sense every one is going but the consumer which the purpose of the panels was to save ,now I'm spending more.
