On May 7, 2023, as I was going through the Quick Quack Car Wash, the crossbars on my roof rack were ripped off of my vehicle causing damage to the rear hatch door as well as the crossbars themselves. I was given an incident report, which I uploaded, and was told that a manager would contact me within 2-3 days. I called their main headquarters number on the 11th and was told to visit the location to speak to a manager. When I arrived, I was told that the manager was on maternity leave and that I would have to speak to the manager at another site. After being given the runaround for several weeks, I finally was able to speak to a manager on June 16th. She apologized for the delay and asked for any documentation I had. I informed her that I had researched the cost to repair or replace the items damaged to my vehicle and provided her all of the documents uploaded in this complaint. I was told that someone from the headquarters would reach out to me within a week because there was a backlog of claims. On June 27, I called the headquarters to inquire about the status of my incident and was told it wasn't filed. The representative apologized for the miscommunication and said I would receive a call from their claims **** within two business days. Today, is day 3 and I think it is best to move forward with a formal complaint. I have contacted my insurance company about moving forward with repairing my vehicle and seeing if they can file a complaint to receive payment from Quick Quack, but it seems that this may also be difficult for them. At the moment, I am going to have to pay for the repairs myself and keep the receipts.Business Response

On May 9, 2023 I purchased a car wash quick, quack car wash on ****** Drive in ********** Road. As I drove through the entrance, my car was damaged by a ******* position too close to the edge of the curb. It was a design flaw, my car sticks out more than 3 and a half inches from the sidewall of the tires if Im in the entranceway and not on the curb. The damage was not my fault., it was a design fall in the construction of the entranceway. There was $4000 damage done to my car. I am rejecting this response because: Even though Qucik Quack made contact on 07.06.2023 after the claim was submitted through BBB, they will not accept claim and require me to file through my insurance company. I signed up for a 30 day car wash membership, but was signed up for auto renew which I was not asked, nor did I consent to. Apparently my bill was due on the 21st of May. However, I couldn't pay until June 5th. I went in today, June 25th, to get a car wash only to be told that my membership was on hold because my account was past due. I called customer service only to be told that even though I paid for a 30 day service that it backtracks to May 21st and due again on June 21st. Meaning that I paid for 30 days but I only get to use barely 15 days of that. The gentleman that I spoke with wanted to argue with me about it but I politely told him goodbye and hung up and then promptly went to their website to look at their terms of service. Nowhere in their terms of service does it mention that if you do not pay on time you basically lose time off of your 30 days that you've paid for. Not only that, but it also States that you have the choice of paying monthly or having it auto renewed. In the entire time that I've been a customer I have never had an employee ask me if I would like the choice. Apparently it's common practice to just automatically sign someone up for auto renew without their consent. I called back again to State this to another customer service representative who took the stance of the original person I talked to that it's just what they're taught. I explained that maybe what they are taught to say to people but if there are terms of service does not state it, and in terms of service also says at the bottom that signed it is a legal document, and that being if it does not say it in the terms of service then they cannot legally uphold that. She put me on hold for quite some time only to come back and just repeat what she'd already told me. That simply they're not going to do anything about it and that's just how they run things. This is unfair to consumers, which I did my research and they have already had multiple lawsuits over this exact same thing.Business Response

A late payment would not stop the next billing from trying to come out on time. Attached are the terms of use and terms of service and if you read through it it does not say anything about how you lose time because they don't adjust your due date or anything. It's just something that they're trained to say just like they did in their auto response to my complaint, but it is nowhere in there illegal documents.

I am rejecting this response because if you are going to uphold a policy, then it needs to be in the terms of service and or the terms of use. Those are legally binding contracts with your customers and if it is not in there, you cannot enforce a made-up policy. Currently, the way you guys are conducting business you are basically robbing and stealing money for your customers. And like I said, unless it is in the terms of service or the terms of use, you are looking at a lawsuit. One that I have no problem starting if need be.

On 6/6/23 at approximately 7:00 P.M. I visited Quick Quack Car Wash in *********, **. Prior to entering the wash tunnel, I was greeted by an attendant who guided me onto the conveyor tracks. After placing my vehicle in neutral and releasing my foot from my brake pedal, as instructed by the attendant, my vehicle slowly began moving across the tracks. As my vehicle exited the soap portion of the wash, I felt a hard jolt. Through the rear window of my vehicle, I noticed a white car directly behind my vehicle. I exited the car wash and safely pulled over to inspect my vehicle for damages. The driver of the white vehicle pulled his car up behind me and exited (8BLC467). The driver identified himself as ******. Ruveal and I both noticed 2 small dents to the rear bumper of my vehicle (photo attached) which were caused by the screws that hold his front license plate. We decided to report the incident to the attendant in the office. The attendant had me complete an incident report and provided me a copy (attached). While the attendant walked over to take photos of my vehicle, ****** asked the attendant if accidents inside the car wash are common. The attendant replied, "Yes, this happens all the time but this is nothing. I've seen worse." The attendant handed me a copy of the incident report and told me the manager would be in contact with me once the video is reviewed. On 6/9/23, I received an email (attached) from *************************, Store Leader #****. ******************** email indicates there's insufficient evidence showing the damage to my vehicle was caused during the car wash. His email also states "Quick Quack Car Wash washed hundred of cars without incident before and after you claim your vehicle was damaged..." which is inaccurate if his employee clearly stated that these types of incidents "happen all the time." No matter how minor or how major the damage, Quick Quack should be responsible for fixing my car because the attendants place cars too closely through the car wash.Business Response

on approx 5/22/23 / i am a member of quick quack car wash. i was in rental car & pulled in to ask if i can get a wash my rental washed my membership because my car is in shop/ your worker was rude & told me NO. i have to buy a new membership for my rental . i asked him if anything they can do for me since im a member but my car in shop he said "no i hve to buy a membership for rental car/i said its just to wash it this one time . he was rude and said no and had me back my car out of carwash which is difficult and hard to try to back out around the curves/i asked for a supervisor he was rude/ said a supervisior will tell me the same thing!! i asked his name he says **** i asked him to speak to someone else he said its just him i speak to / as i was trying to back out another customer was trying to drive in and started backing out and asked **** if they were closed / **** tells the other customer.. "NO WERE NOT CLOSED SHE JUST DOESNT HV A MEMBERSHIP!!! (which was a lie i have a membership he just wouldnt allow me to wash my rental this one time/ he wanted to embaress and humilate me as though i was some criminal with no membership which was not the case!! as i backed out i saw another worker/ he was cleaning the vaccuum area /i explained to him what just happened. and he was very nice and apologized and couldnt believe i was just treated that way /he says i shouldnt hv been treated that way / he said he would check me in / his name was ******* / so ******* checks me in with the **** pulls up my membership and checks me in writes on my windshield etc/ he does the COMPLETE CHECK IN / and says he is sorry that happened /i pull in to get the car washed& **** comes over aggressively to my window and says did u buy a membership like i said /i said absolutely not/im not buying a membership for a rental and furthermore i know u see that i was just chcked in by *******/ he huffs/ puffs & runs to ******* while making people behind me wait holding up line to confronBusiness Response

I am rejecting this response because: I want someone to contact me regarding This racist employee who was very rude. Second of all I've contacted the corporate department who told me that he could have gone over options with me to help me in that moment there are a lot more options other than paying for an entire membership to wash a rental car. After a break of several weeks I went to renew my membership at Quick Quack. Normally my payment affords me thirty days of service. This time I was cut off at 15 days and they are refusing to provide all 30 days of access stating my membership payment date is on the 31st of every month. 1. After reviewing the account, the membership was signed up on March 31st. There was no request to cancel before the next cycle. On April 30th, we were unable to collect the payment until May 15th. I took my Lexus ES 350 through the Quick Quack Car Wash at Cal Expo. The brushes tore my right rear view mirror loose. I immediately showed the attendent there the damages and they filled out an incident report. I contacted their "Incident Specialist" *************************** and asked for resolution. He said they would pay 50% of the damages. As that was unacceptable, I paid Lexus 100% of the damages to repair the mirror so that I my wife would be able to drive her car. I believe the law states that I have the right to use Quick Quack Car Wash without any expectation of damage to my auto. To state that the car is older than 5 years and presume that they can therefore devalue the repair is unreasonable and would let they not accept damages for a large portion of their business. I seek 100% reimbursement.Business Response

When I went to Quick Quack on May 1st. I asked for a basic car wash and that was it. After I got the car wash I was charged for a membership. I not told about or asked about of being signed up for a membership. I emailed them on May 1st requesting a refund and to cancel my membership. May 2nd I got an email back saying that it has been processed and that June 1st my membership will be cancelled. I never got a refund. Today, I was checking my bank account and have been charged for another month of a membership. I have send another email requesting the membership. I have added the emails in attachments.
