Do not open an account with this bank if you live paycheck to paycheck. They will place the maximum hold on your paycheck they can for no reason other than they can, and when you contact them about getting it lifted, they'll tell you that they can't do it because they're an entirely online bank!I've been eating rice for a week and a half because I deposited my check and they put a 7 day hold on it. Was told it would be available today. Not available. S**** these guys.

I am selecting a 1 star reviewing bc that is the lowest you can select. I would give a minus rating but that is not an option. The most horrific customer service of nonsense. They confirmed I was getting their promotional savings account rate and come to find out that does not happen 1st month, tried to get a confirmation for the next month and failed again. I tried to get their confirmation in writing, they seem to outsource their customer service **** out of the states and they don't understand what your are asking and just copy and paste responses when you message. Nobody know what they are doing and I will be taking my money somewhere else. Serious waste of time and money.

Most unprofessional bank I have ever worked with. Bankers ensure xyz will not occur and the next day xyz is initiated. No manager staff is available to speak with you or resolve live problem, take 48hr or more to hear back from staff.Hidden criteria is in place for promotions, these elements are not disclosed when setting up account with live *** from ********** yourself a favor and bank with a ***utable company that has integrity.

Shouldve done research before refinancing my vehicle with this company. Their app is terrible to make payments or even to check on my loan. They offer no help for financial hardship. Their customer service is outsourced so when I was speaking to a representative they did not comprehend me at all. I wish I could go back in time & stay with *********** for my car loan. I would have been paying more but it would have been worth it to not deal with ****.

I wouldnt recommend AXOS. Their account offerings are decent in terms of APY and maintenance fees, but none of its worth the excessively, shockingly poor user experience. Everything about banking with them from the app, to customer service, to processing times its all just been jenky. For lack of a better ********* yourself the frustration and **** banking here. There are better options out there with a significantly smoother UX.

Weve been banking with **** for 6 years now and the number of issues weve run into in the last 1.5 years is absolutely insane and flat out unacceptable. My husband changed his name when we got married (5 years ago) and we found there was an issue when we were going through the process of purchasing a home last year. His name was reflected correctly in our account details, but our bank statements were showing his previous last name. In order to get approved with our mortgage lender we needed bank statements with his accurate name. This opened a can of worms with **** that is still ongoing. At this point my husband has submitted the necessary paperwork, our marriage certificate and his identification 4 or 5 times and his name still isnt showing correctly on our statements. During this last round of communications they ended up restricting our account, and nobody can tell us why. Then, when I called in asking to speak to someone in the department that manages name changes I was told theres no way for that to happen. I was also told that it would take up to 48 hours to speak with a supervisor about the matter, as they work on a ticket system internally. Additionally the request to remove the restriction on our account would also take up to 48 hours to be processed! The methods that **** uses now to handle customer interactions is incredibly frustrating. I would never recommend banking with **** unless youre okay with not having access to your money, bank statements, or general transaction history at their discretion.

I opened a checking account and self-directed brokerage account with ****, initially pulled in by their promotion. The checking account appeared to be without issues, with the exception of the listed annual percentage return not matching on the website and on the app. But I transferred securities from an ****** account to the **** brokerage account, and I have never seen or experienced this amount of incompetence and negligence with a bank in my life. Here are the problems:- **** had listed on the app that the purchase date of the stocks I transferred was the date of the transfer (the stocks had been purchased years before)- The cost basis was 0, and the information about the stocks having to do with whether they were in the positive or negative made no sense.- About 10 phone calls and a handful of messaging threads, each resulting in promises that someone would get back to me (no one did) 5 weeks later I gave up and went to the BBB website to see if I wanted to file a complaint and found abysmal reviews and even ones that scared me with customers who couldn't get their money out of the bank led me to quickly start getting my money away from them. Rather than paying another transfer fee to move the stocks, I sold them, not knowing what the heck **** will be reporting for tax purposes since the information made no sense at all about my stocks on their site. Thank God I didn't have that much money with them. I considered SoFi because of their promotion but quickly found horrible reviews on BBB about them as well. I decided to just stay with my local bank who has been in business for much, much longer than these internet banks and have very few complaints. Don't get sucked into promotions until you research complaints on BBB or other sites!
