      Beyond Financial debt consolidation Misleading with finances. Told different information everytime I called, I have spent over $3000 with them in the past year and they only made $200 worth of payments to creditors. Spoke with collector today and was told Beyond has opened MULTIPLE accounts of my creditors with different amounts. Company refuses to give me any sort of refund for the amount I have gave their company.

      We confirmed your enrollment into the program on September 29, 2023.  At this time, you entered into the Debt Resolution program, which is different from debt consolidation.  Our agent took the time to clearly explain the program and walk through your enrollment agreement with you prior to your signing to ensure it would be a good fit for you.


      At no time did Beyond Finance open accounts with any of your creditors.  Rather, Beyond Finance reached a resolution on your Ally account that you approved on January 30, 2024.  Upon your request to terminate on February 14, 2024 that resolution was revoked. You then elected to reinstate your program and Beyond Finance worked to secure another arrangement on your Ally account that was approved by you on April 28, 2024.


      This program is designed to care for all of your included debt, and the related fees, throughout the lifetime of your enrollment.  Beyond Finance was able to secure two resolutions for you prior to your requested termination and met all established expectations to earn the fee related to those arrangements.  You were refunded the remaining balance in your dedicated account on September 12, 2024 in the amount of $118.75.

      hello - 

      In September of 2023 I was NOT clearly explained of the program; therefor when the first payment of $1000 was withdrew in Feb 2024 and not put toward my debt as I had been explained as such, I was then told it goes to the program fees. This lead to me cancelling the collection so I would not get scammed, until they informed me that my $1000 would be taken no matter what. I then signed back up to finish paying it off, and after that every time I call, they give me different amounts of what I’ve owed and what I’ve paid. Listen to the phone calls recorded. I have paid out over $3000 to them for them to pay a couple hundred toward my debt. Which again, was never CLEARLY stated.

      In 2022 I enrolled four accounts with credit card debt at Beyond Finance. At the onset, Beyond Finance began taking fees for services that weren't realized i.e. debt settlement. During my time with Beyond, my monthly payments consistently changed and I was paying fees before any resolution of my debt had been met. I removed two accounts from ********************** before any debt was resolved. Most recently, I removed a *********** account that had $2395 of enrolled debt because Beyond was unable to settle the debt. I called Beyond and they said they were going to take the 25% fee regardless. Here is an email to confirm I rejected their settlement.Hi ******, The following account has been removed from your program: Account Name: CAP ONE Last 4 Digits Account Number: 7285 Account Balance: 2395 Please note that your deposit schedule will not be impacted by this change.       We confirmed your enrollment into the program on March 15, 2022.  Information about program fees, including when they are earned, was covered in your Enrollment Agreement.  This information can be located in paragraph 11. (a) Program Fees.  It reads, in part, as follows:


      "Program fees are due and earned when: (i) the Company reaches a resolution on an enrolled debt with a creditor, (ii) the Client accepts and agrees to the new terms, and (iii) the first payment of the new agreed upon terms is made to the creditor."


      Review confirmed that all established expectations were met on each of your authorized resolutions prior to any installment of the fee being earned. No upfront fees or fees for services not rendered were earned.


      Additionally, our records reflect that there were payment adjustments made throughout the lifetime of your enrollment.  These adjustments are reflective of payment deferral requests and acceptance of resolution offers with conditional offers.  Beyond Finance makes every effort to be flexible and ensure beneficial arrangements are secured.  


      At this time, Beyond Finance has decided to issue a goodwill refund of the fee related to your *********** account in the amount of $598.75.  These funds will be refunded into your dedicated savings account and applied towards your outstanding resolutions as requested.  We are hopeful this is a satisfactory resolution to your concern.  Should you have any additional questions, please do not hesitate to reach out.

      I signed up with this company in January 2020 and began monthly payments February 2020. I was told it was a 48 month (four years) program, and within a year all my debtors will be cleared so there wouldn't be any marks on my credit report. That was never the case. It is now September 2024 and on my credit report it states extreme late payments. According to my records, I have made 50 payments, which is over 48 months. When I called Beyond they're now saying that it is an estimate 48 months, and that they don't know when my payment will end because they're still resolving one creditor. They are taking more money from me then they should and are refusing to end my payments.

      i hired them to pay off **** they took my money and did not pay anybody off they lied to me telling me that they paid them when they did not i was embarrassed when i spoke to who i owed they kept taking my money and lied and did not pay anybody i told them that i was done with them with my attorney on the phone with me i paid my ****s off myself and they are still taking money out of my account they need to give my money back they are liars feel bad for other people that fall for the scam

      I enrolled in Beyond Finance in January 2024. My complaint is the lack of transparency. Including not only the amount of fees and monthly charges but it not being shown ANYWHERE on the site or app. I simply asked multiple times for the cancellation terms in writing for me to read before I contact an agent (as they are very good at being convincing and say whatever you want to hear) and I was advised they cannot provide me a written policy and that I had to call. Which, is just another way this company is lacking in transparency.

      Information about your right to cancel is contained in your enrollment agreement.  It can be located under the section titled "Debt Resolution Agreement" in paragraph 21. Withdrawal from the Program.  It reads as follows:


      "CLIENT MAY TERMINATE THIS AGREEMENT AT ANY TIME FOR ANY REASON, WITHOUT PENALTY OR OBLIGATION, by submitting the Notice of Cancellation form at the end of this packet, or through any reasonable oral or written means. If you cancel, all funds in Clients Dedicated Account will be returned minus any fees due for services rendered."

      Beyond finance is a debt payment company. When they sell their program, they state clearly that you will pay fees of approximately 6% of your debt each year, which seems fairly reasonable. It isnt the cheapest company, but theyre providing a needed service. However, hidden in their 34 page disclosure booklet is a statement that they charge 25% of the enrolled debt when they make the first payment on a negotiated settlement. If you pay on your plan the entire time, it averages out to about 6% each year, however, thats a big difference, a 25% lump sum vs 6%. Because of the 25% fee, they were unable to reach a settlement with 3 of my creditors, as it would have been cheaper for me to pay the creditors outright. Because I wasnt aware of this, and no settlement was reached, those 3 creditors sued me and I had to refinance my house in order to avoid having my paycheck garnished. Because I was operating under the 6% fee I was told about, I allowed Beyond Finance to continue making negotiations on my behalf and transferred large sums of money into my account from my **********************. There should have been money to pay off all my debts, instead I need another $3,500 because of this 25% fee. This is beyond ridiculous. And dont tell me it was in my enrollment booklet. I trusted the words that were said to me, and you are rushed through signing each pay of the enrollment agreement without being given a second to read it. I want my fees adjusted down to the 6% I was told on each of the accounts I made lump sum payments to: ****** ****** & Maxlend.

      This makes no mention of the fact that 3 of my creditors filed legal charges because beyond finance would not come to a resolution with them, Im sure partially due to the 25% fee issue.  Discover indicated they were willing to settle for 80%, but with the 25% fee, it would have cost me more to use beyond finance than to pay myself. So rather than give me the good financial advice that I was counting on (and paying for), they allowed Discover and 2 others to initiate court proceedings against me. That cost me even more money. Beyond Finance does not do the job they state they will, and certainly did not put my interests as the client as their top priority.

      I am absolutely worse off. I had to pay court fees on top of the full balance. Whereas if I would have used a different company that doesnt charge a 25% fee, or attempted to make contact myself, Discover would have settled for 80%. And the other 2 would have most likely settled for something in the same range.

      I used Beyond Finance to help with 4 credit card debts. I was paying on 3 but 1 of them was just taking interest. I was told on phone they don't charge until debts paid which is a lie. They also charged me for a settlement I already had in place. I just paid them to continue payments. They took nearly half the money towards my debt in fees. I had them removed other debts I was paying. I was told on the phone just $60 fee left and done but they still pull money and we're gonna continue pulling.

      I was drowning in debt due to paying for expensive divorce and being unemployed for 4 months. I thought I was doing the smart thing and consolidate my total credit *********** debt with Beyond Finance. I had 6 different credit cards that I could barely keep up with just the minimum payments. At first, they tell you on the phone when trying to get you to sign up that you will pay a bi-weekly set amount which was fine. The app is so clever by posting your total debt and next to it what they "expect" your new resolved debt could or should be. What they don't tell you is that more than likely all of your credit cards will most likely be charged off and your starting debt is no where compared to where it will be if you enroll with Beyond Finance. They will settle with the lowest of the 2 creditors quickly and your automatic payments will go towards their settlement fees first, then the actual debt. They then proceed to tell you that you must have funds accumulated in your account before they can negotiate with the next pending resolutions, so while your money is going into their pockets for their fees, all of your other pending creditors keep adding and adding to your initial debt. If you are really trying to help people out of debt which you claim, why have 100% of customers payments go to pay off your fees first then the debt and not have their balance build up to settle with the other "pending creditors?" One of my $10,000 credit card balances when i started accumulated to a whopping $17,650 in just 6 months. Then after a credit card is charged off, you then take that as the balance for your 25% fee settlement? That is just morally wrong in my opinion if you are truly trying to help people get out of debt. I contacted Beyond stating that my bankruptcy lawyer told me to terminate contract with Beyond Finance immediately. I spoke with a *** at Beyond about before my next payment to them & to not touch it. I want my refund of at least $495 immediately.

      "Program fees are due and earned when: (i) the Company reaches a resolution on an enrolled debt with a creditor, (ii) the Client accepts and agrees to the new terms, and (iii) the first payment of the new agreed upon terms is made to the creditor."

      Beyond Finance met all established expectations prior to earning any installment of the fee related to your authorized resolutions.  At no time did Beyond Finance earn up front fees.  Our records confirm that prior to your requested termination, a total of $2,884 was paid towards your approved offers. 

      The program is designed to care for all enrolled debt throughout the lifetime of the program.  There are several factors taken into account when determining the most favorable account to negotiate including, but not limited to, length of delinquency and accumulated funds.   

      We have confirmed that after your termination request a refund of $509.92 was issued on 9/5/2024.  We are hopeful this is a satisfactory resolution to your concerns.

      Beyond Finance waited until 2 of my 6 credit cards were charged off before you even contacted the credit card company.  One of them went to collections and was never negotiated, but yet you still charged me a fee for services you never performed.  That is fraud.

      During the enrollment process, the agent explained the need for a period of inactivity in order to move forward with negotiation efforts.  In your enrollment agreement, we explicitly explain that accounts may move into a charge off status prior to the creditor being willing to move forward with a resolution offer.  Beyond Finance acted in accordance with all established expectations.

      At no point did the agent say that they would wait until all of my credit cards were charged off almost doubling my debt for each and every one of my cards.  I spoke with 2 credit card companies who claimed they still didn't even hear from you.  Also, my 3 highest debt credit cards, you waited to resolve until they were charged off instead of the other 3 cards that had a fraction of the debt as the others.  You make money off of the total charges, so it makes sense to wait for my 3 highest debt cards to charge off so you get more money off of them.  Change your fees to go off of the resolved debt instead of the total debt.

      February 2023 I started with this company to consolifdate my loans. at $509 a month and never any money going in to pay the debt I was told it takes awhile did not know they get their money first so as a result my creditors continue to threated me.. so they they said they need to increase my payments to 826 cannot afford this so looked upo other options and was told to cancel when I cancelled they kept my deosits which was over 9000 and did not pay any of my creditors. I am a senior 74 year old widow and so confused how my money can just be taken like that and now I still owe all the debt sith no where to go my house may even be in trouble so afraid and sad

      Review of your program confirmed that at the time of your requested termination, arrangements on four out of your six enrolled accounts had been secured.  Of these, one had been completed and three were in process.  Collectively, across all approved resolutions, $8,209.88 has been paid to your creditors out of the total $9,124 that you had deposited into your dedicated account.  


      We also note that a conditional offer had been extended to you, one that would have required an increase in your monthly payment amount in order to secure the arrangement.  It was not a requirement to increase your payments to stay in the program, only to take advantage of the offer presented.  Beyond Finance would have continued efforts to reach a resolution on this account had you declined to increase your payments.


      At the time of your requested termination, the fees related to your approved arrangements became due in full.  Once these fees were taken into account, there were no remaining funds to issue a refund.  As a goodwill gesture, we are happy to issue a refund in the amount of $498.23, which is equivalent to the balance in your account at the time of your requested termination.  


      We are hopeful we have been able to provide assurance that funds were in fact paid towards your enrolled debt throughout your program.  Should you have any remaining concerns, please do not hesitate to contact us.
