      I enrolled with Beyond Finance in early January 2024, for the purpose of debt resolution for two credit cards that I wished to pay lower monthly payments to manage. I was advised by Beyond Finance to stop paying these creditors directly because they would take over to negotiate these debts on my behalf and to give their company 6 months to help me establish the required hardship and they then calculated a monthly deposit that would be debited from my account to be allocated towards paying off this debt. NEVER was it explained to me that they purposefully force accounts to be closed, written off & forced into a collections status BEFORE they even negotiate a settlement on my behalf. I relentlessly contacted Beyond Finance at the 6 month period (June 2024) to escalate my case, to request resolution and my requests were ignored. I continued to contact Beyond Finance to escalate my requests to settle my debt, to initiate ************************ to the damage that had been done to my credit, and again, my requests were ignored, despite spending countless on the phone, speaking with supervisors; many of which would drop my call, forcing me to repeat the process. After having a comprehensive financial evaluation done in July 2024, I learned just how much damage Beyond Finance has done to my credit, bringing my FICO score all the way down to a 550. I no longer qualify for ANYTHING! I have zero access to personal loan options, HELOC, nothing, and as a single mother of three children, my household is in need of a lot of support, not to mention repairs that I now have to neglect, due to this circumstance. Ive now learned that even after all of my begging and pleading to settle even my smaller debt account, equating to (initially) less than $4800, theyve driven this account up with fees now in the range of $7800 and they failed to negotiate and help settle this debt prior to (Barclays) writing this account off as of July 30. This was an intentional act.

      We confirmed your enrollment into the program on January 4, 2024.  At the time of enrollment, the Account Specialist reviewed your Debt Resolution Agreement with you prior to your signing.  Information program impacts can be located in the section titled "Debt Resolution Agreement" in paragraph 13 "Disclaimer".  It reads, in part, as follows:


      "The use of Companys debt resolution services will likely adversely affect Clients creditworthiness and may increase the outstanding balances of Clients enrolled accounts due to the accrual of fees and interest. The decision to stop paying creditors rests solely with the Client, and the client acknowledges and fully understands that the company will not be making the Clients scheduled monthly payments to their creditors. The Company will work with the Clients creditors in an effort to reduce Creditor calls; however, the Company does not have the authority to prevent original creditors from calling. Clients enrolling in the Program may be subject to collections or sued by their creditors or debt collectors for nonpayment and Client must take this into consideration when determining whether or not to enroll in the Program."

      This is a formal complaint against BEYOND FINANCE , I signed up on 07/16/2019 for the fallowing financial institutions ,I owed money .They settled ,****************, ******, *************** ,************** ,*********, **********. The total amount of my debt was about $131,294.00 ************ works with, trust company(a bank like ) named ****** ,the ****** was taking about $837.90 twice a month,I never missed payment,dealing with this company Beyond has been a nightmare ,Each **** says something different . Beyond has made $20294, does is not include about$2500 to settle ****** Even though there is enough money in my ****** account to fully payoff the ****** they wanted to force me to pay about $827 twice a month from Jun till Sep .this would make about $6600 extra that I had to deposit in to my account.I called and emailed numerous times ,finally I convinced them that I have enough money deposited, I will put stop on my *************** checking ,that they cannot take any money out.Their response to my complaint ,"We will refund it back to you at the end" .They wanted to float on my money. Imagine if they do this to every client ,they would be holding back millions of dollars of people 's money.I wrote a letter and I sent it with certified mail, they got it , never answer me back.Dealing with this company has been frustrating .Finally they emailed me back that I am short $273.13 to payoff ****** wanted me to open my checking to be automatic withdrawn.I refused,after many emails,I sent a check for the amount ,I had to request that the ***** has to be paid in lump sum, not by payment,(this was another scam by them)After they got the amount , they email me , I am short $41.20 , some fees .I let them know late to payoff ***** in time.after five years, them making over $23000.00 commission, they are holding my account hostage for $41.00. they take advantage of me, a senior citizen .The next step would be to file complaint with CONSUMER AFAIR take Beyond to court

      after close to 5 years of frustration ,close to 160 calls I made to this company. The register mail that I sent ,with no respond back from this company .all the misleading conversations. and the fact that they wanted me to deposit close to $1700 month from Jun to Sep. of 2024,which I had to force them to stop(in June I put stop payment , since automatic withdrawal that they had)It created a mess on my other accounts in my B of A checking ,my balance would go to zero till next day. dealing with Beyond for 5 years has been more than head ache and frustrations. I have documented every conversation and communications. I see my right to demand $1000.00 refund to close the account .Or I will go the legal route .

      I had debt go into collections. That debt has been paid in full. I have requested paid in full letters. I have been given dates and those dates to fulfill that request have past over a week ago. I am just looking to receive paid in full letters from my creditors.

      This company is a complete scam I decided to unenroll out of the program due to the point that I have paid them about $1,000 and only $75 has been paid to any of my debt the rest are a bunch of made-up fees they still have $222 and some change of my money and refuse to give it on top of that they say I owe them $800 for the nothing that they did I would like to have my money back

      I enrolled in a debt relief program with Beyond Finance. I accumulated enough money in my account to have them begin negotiating with Discover Card. They stated that they were waiting to get half the amount of another enrolled debt in the dedicated account before they started negotiating with Discover. They never informed me of this and led me to believe that, because they had funds available for Discover they would begin negotiating. That did not happen. Also, when Discover learned that I had enrolled with Beyond they canceled my card immediately. Beyond keeps saying that they are waiting for a delinquency period to pass. My position is that there isnt one. Discover has since sent me letter threatening lawsuit and all this was communicated to Beyond. I have talked to three supervisor one named *****, another ****** and I cannot remember the other. One assured me a higher level manager would be in touch, they were not. I called again today and all they would do is make ANOTHER request and just told me that it would do no good to speak with them as they would say the same. I asked to speak with the negotiation team and they refused to allow it. They only mention that a request for escalation was made and to prioritize Discover. I have not heard anything about that progress and it appears they continue to wait to negotiate the debt. I believe that they wait only to gain greater interest on my money so that they can profit and are not acting in my best interest. Discover requires no further waiting and because they are sending notices for lawsuit etc. That it is evident that the negotiation take place immediately.

      "We begin contacting your Creditors as soon as we determine that a good faith effort to resolve a given debt, whether on a lump-sum or installment basis, may be made, with such determinations dependent upon such factors as the Creditors settlement policies, the rate of account accretion, the size of each Debt and how close a Debt may be to charge-off. Some Creditors prefer that they not be contacted until you have accumulated sufficient funds in your Dedicated Account to allow a resolution within their historic norms."


      Each creditor has different standards and practices and Beyond Finance utilizes past experience to strategize negotiation efforts.  Rest assured we are working to secure the most favorable arrangement.  Additionally, Beyond Finance does not benefit from any accrued interest on your enrolled accounts as our resolution fee is based on the verified balance at time of enrollment.

      ******************************************* financial reported for 13 months wrong information to the credit bureau all three agencies. We never signed another Installment agreement. Reported the loan was 27 percent interest and the loan was 24 percent interest.Reported wrong amount for loan ******** reported ******** . Beyond financial apparently sold upstart loan to another lender. instead of settling the loan like we agreed. It was listed as bad credit charge off. This loan was supposed to be settled by Beyond financial between 11/22/2022 and 2/25/2023. To date I've paid ***** all payments every month. There numbers have been inconsistent.. This Installment agreements should have been changed to reflect the appropriate numbers. I never signed another Installment agreement with Beyond financial and Cross river. This account should be closed And taking off my credit reporting.

      It has been determined that you elected to move forward with a Graduation Loan from Above Lending.  Beyond Finance finalized resolutions with all of your enrolled accounts and you successfully graduated the program on July 14, 2024.  In reference to your Upstart account, it was the creditors decision to utilize a third part to service the account.  The resolution on this account was completed appropriately.


      Review shows that you have had an opportunity to address your concerns with an Account Manager who confirmed that your concerns are related to your loan with Above Lending, not with Beyond Finance.  The Account Manager escalated your concerns to Above Lending.

      I had enrolled in a debt consolidation program with Beyond Finance in January of 2023 with 6 accounts for them to settle on my behalf. After a number of months paying over $750 each month, they came to a settlement agreement with one of the accounts, namely ************ During this time, Beyond Finance also settled a Business Account that was not provided or authorized for them to contact on. After multiple months of Beyond Finance saying they needed more funds for any settlements every single month, they were able to successfully settle 2 accounts with a scheduled settlement for the *********** account. By the time this was done, I had been taken to court for one of the accounts they were supposed to settle and had to settle outside of the program. I then had to settle 2 additional accounts outside of the program, as Beyond Finance was not doing anything to settle these accounts. By this time, I was ready to be complete with the program that Beyond offered and reached out to them to obtain the payoff amount needed to completely settle the account in full. Once I received this payout amount, I issued a payment to Beyond Finance to close out the program. Once this was done, the settlement that had been scheduled with *********** was cancelled by Beyond Finance and I then had to settle this account on my own. Now Beyond Finance is refusing to refund the settlement fee they charged for settling this account, stating they settled the account despite said settlement being cancelled by Beyond Finance and my having to settle it on my own. The amount of the settlement fee is $1,805.00.

      "Clients enrolling in the Program may be sued by their creditors for nonpayment and Client must take this into consideration when determining whether or not to enroll in the Program."


      The program is designed to care for all included accounts throughout the lifetime of the enrollment.  Beyond Finance would have continued to work towards resolutions for the referenced accounts.  Prior to Beyond Finance being able to move forward with negotiation efforts we need to ensure enough accrued funds in your dedicated account in order to move forward with potential offers.


      Records indicate that you spoke with an account manager regarding the matter with *********** and provided clarity as to why that resolution was cancelled.  As a courtesy, Beyond Finance issued a refund on July 25, 2024 in the amount of $805 as you requested.

      As of June 19th of 2023 after being on the phone with beyond finance I was informed that all that was owed to them was $81.96 which was automatically deducted from my checking account and after that I was considered graduated and settled and no other money would be taken from my checking account. ****** later my account is charged $341 without my consent and now am told there are fees owed. But no fees were owed and that is why I was only charged $81.96.

      I signed up with Beyond Finance over a year ago to help CONSOLIDATE my debt, that's what I was told. My goal was to get rid of all my credit cards so I had no more credit card debt to my name, and make one monthly payment. I am now involved in a lawsuit with one of my creditors after taking the advice of Beyond Finance to not communicate with the creditors while they negotiate with them. They offer little to no guidance in regards to the lawsuit and provide scripted answers to any questions I have. They have said they've been in negotiations with this specific creditor since I enrolled, but have not offered me any written proof. I now have a large multi billion dollar company suing me for over 10k, I am required to pay court fees that I cannot afford all thanks to the counsel of Beyond Finance, who was hired to consolidate my debt.

      This company took money from me and failed to complete any services promised. When asked about where my money was put they had all of these reasons that were never verbalized when i signed up. They cancelled my program without official consent and never returned any of my money that they took from me.
