Enrolled into a debt consolidation plan where we were assured after 9 months we would be offered a loan to pay all the remaining debt off to prevent further collection calls and make payment to the loan. I asked multiple times and was never offered a loan after 1 year enrolled. I now have late fees and interest that racked up to creditors.Business Response

during enrollment the agent assisting assured us as long as we made payments on time for 6 months and were enrolled at least 9 mos that an offer would be presented. We accepted the program based on that assurance to pay off debt in one lump sum and prevent further accrual of interest and credit disparage. Nine accounts may have been negotiated, but they were not completed so false info to my knowledge. I would like to see where 9 accounts were completed as I do not have access to view that anymore. Also, the statement and ledger does not have dates or amounts dispersed to said accounts.Business Response

I have been a customer for a year. When they first sold me on their company over another they provided a lot of false information. They did not say that they take their entire fee for each settled account up front and not along with the payments. They did not say that there was a chance I wouldnt be eligible for the loan they sell at the beginning. They said I would get help in the event of legal action and Ive gotten none.Business Response

Information program fees, including how and when they are earned, can be located in the section titled "Debt Resolution Agreement" in paragraph 11. (a) Program Fees. It reads, in part, as follows:
"Program fees are due and earned when: (i) the Company reaches a resolution on an enrolled debt with a creditor, (ii) the Client accepts and agrees to the new terms, and (iii) the first payment of the new agreed upon terms is made to the creditor."
Review of your program confirmed that Beyond Finance met all established expectations prior to earning any portion of the fee related to your approved resolutions. At no point did Beyond Finance take any fees up front.
Additionally, during your enrollment interaction you were advised that you would be eligible to be reviewed for the potential of a loan option. At no point was a guarantee made that you would be approved.
Beyond Finance is transparent that we do not provide legal advice. However, we note that you elected to participate in BLP at the time of your enrollment. We encourage you to utilize this program to the fullest extent for any legal support they may be able to provide.

I am still completely unsatisfied with the transparency and knowledge of the staff.
I was given inaccurate information by your company about the start date of a negotiated settlement and then told it was my problem to solve with the arbitrator.
I signed the stipulation and sent it back to beyond and fixed the payment issue on July 17th. Now two days later, I got a blank outdated stipulation from beyond.
when I called customer service and tried to explain the issue, I got an irrelevant, scripted response back.

I signed a contract with beyond finance a debt consolidation company during the pandemic around 1/2021. I was advised not to contact my creditors and to stop making even minimum payments . I started sending payments to beyond finance then I realized the payment was going to a very old debt past 7 year limit.beyond finance never contacted my other creditors. When I called I was told my payments would go to the first debt then once I was finished paying this old debt they would contact the next creditorAnd all of my other accounts were not taking care of. So I stopped sending payments.Beyond finance basically ruined my credit . Creditors do not want to negotiate with me because I signed a contract. I gave up and also I was dealing with a very ill son Now I'm trying to fix my credit. I called beyond finance about 1 month ago . Beyond Finance met all expectations in servicing your program prior to your termination on March 16, 2021. After termination, Beyond Finance was no longer in the position to assist you in resolving the accounts that had been previously enrolled.

I have paid $344.15 every other week since beginning the program to have them negotiate my debt. I was sued by one of my credit cards about 6 months ago. I immediately notified beyond and sent them all the paperwork they requested. I have checked in with them once every couple of weeks since and they consistently told me its being prioritized however that credit card company just received a judgment about two weeks ago. Something they advertise wont happen if youre working with them. They also told me when I signed up that I would be eligible for the graduation loan with 6 months of consistent payments that would pay off all my debt and I would just continue paying the same amount each month. I Was charged 16 settlement fees for accounts that were never settled. Beyond states that creditors were contacted which is correct however several creditors also told me that their request to settle was denied. I should not be charged for accounts that ********************** isn't able to do anything with. I have spoken to other victims of Beyond with the exact same story. I have NOT started litigation as I am still gathering data. Fortunately Beyond has lost many other lawsuits and anyone can access the details online. My request to them was simple. I am filling this complaint in hopes that no one else will have to go through the process and experience that I went through with ******* Finance. In their advertisements they state that you can cancel at anytime. What they fail to mention is that if you call to cancel your account you will be met with someone who appears to be a sales person talking over you trying to convince you to stay with them. In my case it was someone named **** who refused to assist me without listening to his sales pitch.A simple request to cancel turned into an hour long debate. I hung up on him because my request was non negotiable and he called me back! This reason I cancelled was for the following:1. Seven out of the 12 creditors that I listed on my account do not and will not work with Beyond Finance.2. I have paid them over $2000 yet only $275 has been paid towards the principal. I have no idea where the rest of my money went.3. I called one of the credit card companies asking if they received the request to settle my debt. I was told they received the request from ** and it was denied as their terms were completely unreasonable. 4. They fail to mention that over 25% of what you send them goes towards their " fees"I asked **** if the money I sent them will be returned as they sat on the money and didn't use it to pay down my balances and his response was no with no explanation. I asked that my call be escalated to a supervisor because I was done listening to his sales pitch and he said that if I wanted a Sup. I could call back and have someone else escalate my call. BF preys on people who need the most assistance. When they sign you up they will tell you everything you want to hear then hide the most important facts is VERY fine writing. They take 25 % from every account you submit weather the debtor accepts their " offer" or not. I personally called every ********** company and was told that ** never sent them an offer which means that they are taking money from you without doing a **** thing. I'm not going back and forth with them. I've accepted the fact that the thousands of dollars I've send will never be seen. Good jobs guys you got me. If this response has a silver lining is that I Legally recorded 6 phone calls by their rude deceitful customer service staff. Don't take my word. Listen to these phone calls and make your decision on weather or not you want to deal with these clowns. This company seems to take advantage of people over 55. I am experiencing that. I have a *********** account that has been negotiated with them, but I have had to deal with court issues regarding this account over several months even while I am paying off the account as negotiated. This has taken time and money and is a nightmare in all honesty. This is the worst company I have ever worked with due to their inability to function clearly. They have too many partnerships and are not a centralized business. I am concerned that they may need to be investigated for fraud.I am now supposed to go into mediation over this account. A debt resolution company promises to save consumers money on credit card debt but first you need to stop paying them and ruin your credit. Later you find you pay them 75%, and they never reach out to creditors. I paid $9000 in 8 months to resolve $4000 of debt. That $4000 was negotiated to $2000. The bank received $2000 and beyond finance received $6000. These actions are incredibly predatory. The website doesnt offer statements of fees. I had to request it in the chat after noticing my $1000 monthly deposits were disappearing for $515 of debt payments.Business Response

I was hopeful that Beyond Finance would be able to help me consolidate my debt, but it actually put me in a worse situation that I am struggling to get transparency on. After a lack of communication (particularly when I received court docs), no debt counseling, and realizing I could settle my debt myself for free, I opted to remove myself from the program; however, I still had to pay a fee for the settlement they did end up getting me. I was fine paying for the fee as that is written in the contract. My frustration comes from the lack of transparency and being unable to get ahold of anyone who can help me or give me accurate information, whether via email, support chat, or via phone. I was initially told I had over $3,000 in fees left, but that wasn't true and it was only $1,742.71. When I needed to cancel my recent deposit due to an emergency, none of the 4 agents I spoke to were able to cancel it, and I was told by one of the agents that I only had about $51 left on the fee and I would be done. Come to find out from a different agent that what that agent told me about my balance wasn't true and I still have $616.06 left. I just want to be done with this place. All my debt is handled except for this and I feel like even if the fee was paid off today, they would still find a way to say I owed more money. I am so frustrated and feel like I have been scammed, because how is everyone either told me something wrong or been unable to help me?Business Response

I enrolled 4 credit cards in beyond finance debt program. I enrolled 19 months ago. I was told my credit would be negatively impacted the first 3-4 months, but then would go up from there. When I started, my credit score was above 700. Now its barely over 500 and its been 19 months! I need to buy a car and cant bc my credit is ruined! I could unenroll my debt, but at this point there is no point plus they have a lot of my money in my dedicated account, so I would lose money.
