In mid March I called to cancel my remaining debt, and collect my funds that were in the account which was roughly $560. I was told ** graduate on the 31st and 7-10 business days Id have my money sent back to me. Ive yet to get my money and was even charged my monthly payment that was automatically coming out while I was using the program. I called in and they claimed theyre gonna set up my graduation and send my funds back but I have little faith in them.Business Response

I enrolled with Beyond Finance in 2022 to help settle multiple debts through their debt consolidation program. I was promised that they would negotiate with my creditors and either pay off or settle my accounts for less than the full balance owed.However, despite making payments to Beyond Finance, several of my accounts were either never settled or not addressed at all. Specifically, a personal loan with ************ was charged off and sold to another lender without any settlement being reached. Additionally, a *********** account that I was assured would be included in the program remains unpaid, with *********** confirming that no payment was ever made through Beyond Finance.There were also several other credit cards that were supposed to be serviced under the program but were either mishandled, charged off without settlement, or left unresolved. Beyond Finance has not provided adequate updates or transparency regarding these accounts, and I was not properly informed of any issues during the process.I have requested a detailed breakdown of what Beyond Finance has done with the funds I paid, but I have not received satisfactory information or clarification. I feel that Beyond Finance misrepresented their services, failed to act in my best financial interests, and caused unnecessary damage to my credit profile.I am requesting a full accounting of all payments made to Beyond Finance, clear documentation of what was paid to creditors, and a refund for any services that were not rendered. Additionally, I expect Beyond Finance to take responsibility for the accounts that were not properly handled.If this matter is not resolved promptly, I am prepared to escalate the complaint to additional consumer protection agencies.Business Response

The resolution offer presented to me was putting me in financial crisis. I was told that since this was not the expected outcome of the resolution offer that my fee was going to be waived. Upon making my final payment, they still collected over a $2,000 fee which I was told would be credited back to me, not reduced. They reduced my payment but did not waive my fee. Now they are stating I am not to receive a credit.Business Response

I have been attempting to pay off my debt to creditors and Beyond Finance - the employees at Beyond Finance are unable to provide me with an accurate payoff amount. Additionally, there seems to be a lot of hoops I need to jump through in attempt to settle with them. I enrolled in the Beyond Finance in 2023. My initial complaint is I have just discovered monthly fees that were not disclosed to me in my onboarding process--and under the "Program Fees 11. (a)" in my contract the only fees mentioned are the 25% fee based on enrolled debt. These "monthly service fees" at $10.75 were once made twice in the same billing cycle on 2/14/23. I also unknowingly have been paying a "BLP" fee of $14.95/month without my knowledge. My third additional hidden fee is an ACH payment that has been deducted monthly as well. Additionally, my initial findings of this was after contacting Beyond Finance today when I noticed my dedicated account balanced had dropped. These fees were scheduled to cover the final payment on of my accounts on 3/31/2025 which has not been made. My first phone call about this matter, the employee was reading me someone else's account information by mistake, she then suggested to go to ********** to see my payment history. ********** has a landing page of ******************** with no way of logging in or creating a new account to access **********. After disclosing this to her, my call dropped. My second phone call to Beyond Finance, the woman said she didn't know ********** had changed and "would look into it." She also said she could send me my account information--I am curious as to why this wasn't an option in the first place. When I asked her why my final payment scheduled for 3/31/25 had not been paid, she said she was going to have to check in with her backend team. I believe that Beyond Finance operates with lack of transparency, and is extremely misleading with how payments are being allocated. My belief is their payment schedules keeps individuals in the program longer than necessary, to gain by these hidden monthly service fees + an additional annual fee of 6.25% of original debt that was also not properly disclosed, nor is mentioned in the "Program Fees" section of the contract.Business Response

Currently, you have approved offers on four of your enrolled accounts. Of which, two are completed and two are in progress. You approved your first offer four months into your program, in alignment with all expectations.
Review of your enrollment interactions confirmed information about all program fees was clearly and transparently covered both verbally and in writing. A summary of these fees can be located on page 16 under program details.
Specifics on the resolution fee can be located under paragraph 11. (a) Program Fees: "The Client agrees to pay the Company a fee in the amount of *****% percent of the balance of each debt enrolled into the program and where Company resolves the debt, whether directly or indirectly through Companys agents, with the creditor."
Specifics on your *** fees on page 21, the *** Pay agreement.
Specifics on your BLP fees on page 42, the **************************** Agreement.
All line items reflecting ACH indicate payments to your creditor. We are happy to confirm the payment mentioned has cleared.

My husband and I began doing business with beyond finance in 2023, and in 2.5 years they managed to neglect my account so badly that I have been sued by 5 creditors, garnished by one and my credit is absolutely destroyed. I stayed in constant contact with them regarding all documentation sent by the creditors, and they still managed to allow the accounts to get so bad they sued/garnished. One account, the newest that I am being sued over, had a settlement offer but they declined it because I didnt have sufficient funds in my account. I did, but they never once reached out to me to ask about the offer.I have had to pay hundreds of dollars in legal filing fees, and now that I have pulled the plug on the program, they are telling me that what was left in my dedicated account is exactly what they needed for a fee on an account that they negotiated.This place is a scam! They start the monthly deposits at a manageable rate, but it steadily increases, and they use the dedicated account amount as the reason why, that they need to have a balance in their high enough to pay the creditors off when they reach a settlement, but if you tell them you cant make the payment that month they want to know why. When you tell them you want certain accounts handled ASAP you get condescending emails telling you that they will handle them as they see fit, and not to worry, they understand, or some other form of condescending reply. When I called in tears, upset that we were being garnished I heard we understand, but you need to make the full deposits to keep your fund growing. No, lets see what we can do to help you, but they made me feel it was my fault we were being garnished.Also, when you call and request a manager, they refuse to call you back. They say ***** hours. I am still waiting for someone to call me from a call I placed 6 months ago.Business Response

At the time of your termination Beyond Finance was able to secure offers on twelve of your enrolled accounts. Some of these offers were put in a position to be renegotiated due to your missed program deposit. It is critical that all deposits be made in full and on time to maintain existing arrangements.
Review confirmed the possibility of litigation was covered during your enrollment conversations. Beyond of Finance continued to support you through this circumstance. It is necessary to have enough funds accumulated in your dedicated account to allow us to move forward with offers. In the event there are not sufficient funds, we may present the opportunity to add funds to secure an arrangement, but that is not required.
Regarding your remaining funds, they were collected to satisfy part of the outstanding fee balance as it related to fees earned on approved arrangements.

On March 26, 2025, I submitted a payment of $1,910 through Beyond Finance with the specific intention of settling my *********** account. I was informed by Beyond Finance that the settlement could not proceed unless I provided an additional $575. As a result, I did not authorize the use of the $1,910 for any other purpose. There was no resolution or negotiation initiated with *********** regarding the payment. When I checked my account today (April 7, 2025), I noticed that the $1,910 was no longer available. Upon calling Beyond Finance, I was informed that the funds were applied to another account to cover their fees, without my knowledge or authorization. This constitutes a misuse of funds and a breach of trust, as I did not approve the redirection of the funds. In Oct 2024, I reached out to Beyond Finance with $50,000 in debt from a divorce. I was assured the accounts WOULD be settled, he said "several of my accounts qualified for a fast track settlement, and they would be in process immediately," which I did notice on my dashboard right away. An account specialist walked me through fees, what to expect, etc. AT NO POINT WAS IT EXPLAINED TO ME THAT THERE WAS A 25% FEE OF THE ACTUAL ENROLLED AMOUNTS. I was told once an account was settled, there would be a fee of the settled amount. While on the phone with the specialist and completing the docusign, she quickly went over the fees and we moved on. A month later, I got a settlement offer and accepted it. I logged in and noticed my account balance was shrinking faster than it should have been based on the settlement plan. This is when I learned there is a 25% fee on the ACTUAL ENROLLED AMOUNT, not the settled amount. I chatted with a rep, I had many concerns at that time - some of the accounts that were to be "fast tracked" were sitting there with no response from the creditor. Here is the important part that I want EVERYONE TO READ. Beyond Finance told me numerous times "I needed to deposit more money into my dedicated account for them to reach a settlement with creditors, they didn't have enough leverage to have an upper hand." THIS IS 100% A LIE. I trusted the process, kept making deposits. A month passed, settled another account. I decided to reach out to the creditors and see why none of the other accounts were moving. ********************** had not contacted any of them. I ended up removing all of the accounts from the program and settled them for FAR LESS than the 50% BF was offering. Now I am stuck paying $1858 in "settlement fees" for two accounts I could have settled on my own for less than what BF charged me. How do I know? I called the two creditors and asked them. Beyond Finance charges their customers MORE than the settlement ON TOP of settlement fees. I want a refund.Business Response
