Opened an account over a year ago with 2 negative issues on my credit and almost a 700 credit score. These crooks told me they would speak to ***** Fargo to let them know they were working with me. Told me to stop paying, and block all calls from creditor. Last month received a letter from ***** Fargo sending me to collections so I cancelled my subscription with these theives, and just got served with a lawsuit from ***** Fargo. Turns out they were taking my money and made no efforts to contact ***** Fargo. Vredit took a nose dive as soon as I started program, now I'm being sued, and have to hire a lawyer. We confirmed your enrollment into the program on March 31 2022. At the time of enrollment, the Account Specialist reviewed your Enrollment Agreement with you prior to your signing. Information about program progress can be located under the section titled "Debt Resolution Agreement" in paragraph 8. "Timing and Program Estimates". In reads, in part,as follows:
"We begin contacting your Creditors as soon as we determine that a good faith effort to resolve a given debt, whether on a lump-sum or installment basis, may be made, with such determinations dependent upon such factors as the Creditors settlement policies, the rate of account accretion, the size of each Debt and how close a Debt may be to charge-off."
Beyond Finance was in alignment with all established expectations as set forth in the Enrollment Agreement. The program is designed to reach settlements with enrolled creditors throughout the lifetime of the program. A settlement had been negotiated with another enrolled account and this resulted in limited funds being available to pursue settlement options on your ***** Fargo account.
Additionally,information about credit impact and potential litigation can be found under the same section in paragraph 13. "Disclaimer". It reads, in part,as follows:
"The use of Companys debt resolution services will likely adversely affect Clients creditworthiness..."
"Clients enrolling in the Program may be subject to collections or sued by their creditors or debt collectors for nonpayment and Client must take this into consideration when determining whether or not to enroll in the Program"

I received an email from *************** consolidation. I made an enquiry and was immediately called by ************************* who said I was already approved to be enrolled in a debt consolidation program. I said, And what if my application is denied? He said Its already approved. Do you know what debt consolidation is? I said It sounds too good to be true he said I can opt out or cancel at any time and my credit score would not be impacted. He repeatedly said. This is not a loan. I signed the paperwork and within 10 minutes receive an email from **************** Your loan has been denied due to low credit score. (674 is not that low). Then I kept getting calls, emails and text messages. I replied saying, This is a scam. I was not approved. They replied Hey - this is not a scam. I have blocked their email and numbers but still keep getting hassled by them. This is a dishonest and fraudulent company who sell your info to other disreputable companies. Avoid.Business Response

I enrolled with Beyond Financial in 2018. April of 2023, I completed my program. I had a balance of $1325.00. I had & have my several calls to Beyond Financial about receiving this amount back to me. I am told that there are other fees that need to be deducted or my request has been forward to upper management. I have been told by two individuals that they will call me back once they have clarification on this issue. No calls ever returned. I noticed that on my credit score that there is a $751.79 in collection. When I contacted PRA, I was informed that this is an account (I turned over to Beyond in 2018) that PRA has made numerous attempts to resolve with Beyond Financial, yet, Beyond will not make any attempts to return calls or agree to any form of settlement. I was then informed that even though I completed my program, I will still have deductions from my checking account by **********************. To say Im extremely upset, would be an understatement. This company utilizes deceptive, manipulative, and predatory tactics. I was enrolled in the plan from September of 2021 to the present.The system is based upon making bi-weekly payments to them. They hold the money in a "Dedicated Account" That they SAY BELONGS TO YOU. It doesn't. They provide a customer dashboard to show your progress - BUT THEY HIDE THEIR FEES. It's not available anywhere on the website. The "Account Summary" page lists your deposits and settlement payments - but NOT their fees!You have to log into a third party site to see what is actually happening in your account. It is NOT linked from their website. It took me two weeks to gain access. It was NOT easy - and that is the point of their business model. They do not want anyone to login and see what they are actually doing.I had a little extra money in April. I decided to do the responsible thing and put extra money into the dedicated account to pay down my debts faster. There was even a graphic encouraging me that if I could get the account to $2496 they'd be able to settle the next debt. I put in a few thousand dollars...and they TOOK the money for FEES! Over the course of January to June they took 45% of the money I paid and paid themselves!!!! They took every ***** of the extra money!!!On the summary page - they even masked their "fees" as "Settlement Payments." This is predatory.They say that the "Dedicated Account" belongs to the Customer. Well - there's $2200 in my account. Do you think I'm going to get that back? They said no - it will go to pay the rest of their 25% fee for settling ONE of my debts. But the irony of that is - because I am cancelling the program - they are nullifying the debt resolution deal. So they have paid themselves almost $5000 for settling a debt that is no longer "settled." And that is in ADDITION to the two different monthly fees that they were already charging - amounting to $25-30.This business is a total scam on the poor and foolish. I was a fool.Business Response

We confirmed your enrollment into the program on September 22, 2022. At the time of enrollment, the Account Specialist reviewed your Enrollment Agreement with you prior to your signing. Information about your dedicated savings account with ******************** Technologies (CFT) can be located under the section titled "CFT Pay Account Agreement".
This account is opened in your name with CFT. You have access to view this account at any time. You maintain full control over the account throughout the duration of the program. This section covers the details of this account as well as the fees related to it.
Information about program fees can be located under the section titled "Debt Resolution Agreement" in paragraph 11. (a) "Program Fees". In reads, in part, as follows:
" The Client agrees to pay the Company a fee in the amount of ***** % percent of the balance of each debt enrolled into the program..."
" Program fees are due and earned when: (i) the Company reaches a resolution on an enrolled debt with a creditor, (ii) the Client accepts and agrees to the new terms, and (iii) the first payment of the new agreed upon terms is made to the creditor"
At the time of your requested termination, Beyond Finance had met all established criteria to earn the fee related to the active settlement. The agent who assisted you with your termination request offered to make a good faith adjustment to the settlement fee in question to allow for more available funds and you declined.
At this time, Beyond Finance will not be issuing a refund. We regret having lost you as a customer and wish you success on your journey to financial freedom.

at issue is not the 25% fee. At issue is the fact that you had a marketing message on my dashboard that encouraged me to get my account up to $2500 so that you could settle the next debt. I did that by adding extra deposits. And you took the money. That is fraudulent.
and No - I do NOT maintain full control of the account if you can take the money anytime you want. That is a COMPLETELY fraudulent claim on your part. You have full control of the account. Client definitely does not. Because if I had full control I would have taken back my money.
and finally - I was NOT offered an adjustment to the fee. That is a lie.

Processing those fees allows for greater available funds throughout the duration of your program thus allowing for the opportunity to enter into new settlement agreements. We regret if there was any misunderstanding related how funds are allocated or related to the possibility of rearranging the fee at the time of your requested termination.
The dedicated savings account with *** is entirely in your name and you maintain full control over it. Any funds that are removed from that account are done so with your authorization only. This is covered in detail under the *** Pay section of your enrollment agreement.

I have paid Beyond Finance over $2,000 since starting the program in November 2022 (first payment made in December 2022). During this time I was led to believe that the enrolled creditors I had in the program would be contacted and the "experts" at Beyond Finance would negotiate settlements. The only creditor that was contacted during my time in the program was with a creditor that I had previously negotiated a settlement with. After months of no payments or negotiations to creditors that were enrolled in my program, I received a letter from one creditor threatening to *** me. When I informed Beyond Finance and emailed them a copy of the letter I was informed by a client success agent to increase my bi-weekly deposits and send them $4,000 then they would contact the creditor to begin negotiating a settlement. Once I informed Beyond Finance that I didn't have $4,000 to pay them ( I wouldn't be in the program if I did), they informed me to make sure I respond to any summons I may receive until I have enough money in my dedicated account to start negotiations. At the point that I became unable to pay my regular bills and feed my family, I terminated my Beyond Finance program and was informed that I would receive a refund within 7 business days. My dedicated account at the time of termination had $515 in it. As of today I have not received a refund, any remorse or anything from Beyond Finance, only thing I have received is a $50 outstanding fee debit from my checking account (more money stolen from me by Beyond Finance). After being in this program I am now broke, unable to pay my bills, unable to feed my family, an extremely lower credit score, and lawsuits from creditors. At the time of your requested termination, you were in one active settlement. Due to this settlement, there were not enough available funds in your dedicated savings account to move forward with additional settlements.
Review of your account determined that the agent advised that it would take approximately 5-7 business days to complete the termination process but did not guarantee a refund would be issued. As you were in an active settlement at the time of termination, the remaining funds in your dedicated savings account were applied toward the fee owed to Beyond Finance. Beyond Finance met all established criteria to earn our fee as set forth in the Enrollment Agreement.

A debt resolution company called Beyond Finance , the issue is that when I initially signed up they would contact my creditors in which I owed money to. They did obtain an agreement with 3 creditors I approved for a much lessor amount, and therefore started to pay each one when there was enough money I had given them through EOW payments of $90.65. My total I've paid them came to $752.20. The creditors they negotiated with were minimal amounts that were agreed upon by myself and Beyond Finance, but instead of paying off at least one of the creditors in full they decided to spread the money out to a total of 3 creditors in the small amounts of anywhere from $10.00 to a maximum of $40. My issue is this pace would have taken 2 years to pay off such small amounts negotiated while they had enough money to pay at least one creditor off. The trick is when you give to them your total debt yet they have not negotiated with your other creditors the pay the minimal amount to the creditors they received a settlement with, all along waiting and keeping your money until they can settle up with other creditors, thus why they state you can have your debt resolved in as little as 2 years. What a bunch of c*** DO NOTUSE THIS COMPANY OR ANY OTHER DEBT RESOLUTION COMPANY, THEY ARE ALL CORRUPT. dO YOUR HOMEWORK AND YOU WILL FIND THAT IT DOES NOT MATTER THEY CREDITORS YOU PAY OFF WILL STILL BE ON YOUR CREDIT REPORT AFTER WORKING 2-3 YEARS OF TRYING TO CLEAN THEM UP. MOST TIMES LARGE CREDITORS SUCH AS AMEX, DISCOVER, CHASE, *********** WILL NOT SETTLE WITH THEM, THEN YOUR HOUNDED BY CREDIT COLLECTION AGENCIES. IT'S A TOTAL CORRUPT SCHEME. Again. Your terms and conditions mention being able to withdraw at anytime. Again it does not state you cant do so via chat, nor a processing time, none of it. I was lucky my funds were not withdrawn Monday etc.
I think its false to say you can withdraw at anytime. And an agent did not call me, I called. So please dont be misleading. But again, your terms need to be updated to reflect the facts that I am not allowed to withdraw at anytime.

Beyond Finance claims to be a debt consolidation firm. They withdrew $300-$350 monthly from me for a year. When I asked for proof that my 4 creditors were being paid I was told to be patient, that Beyond Finance has to accumulate enough funds to offer a settlement. After a year, and nearly $4000 later, nothing has been paid to any creditor. Beyond Finance is a scam!!They took my money and never paid a dime to creditors. They assessed fees, finance charges, and other non essential fees and reduced any payment so creditors received nothing. Beyond Finance did not issue payments to my creditors. They assessed fees, interest charges, handling fees and reduced my monthly payment to them so nothing was sent to creditors.
This company is not providing debt consolidation. Rather, they are extracting ridiculous fees and not forwarding payments to creditors.
As such, the creditors notified me that they had written off my debt or turned over debt to collection agency. But Beyond Finance was continuing to withdraw $350 every month.
I called BF several times to ask what they were doing. Their answers were questionable so I stopped the withdrawals.
They are scammers! Promising to pay off debts and pocketing the monthly payments!!Business Response

Beyond Finance did not pay creditors as they claim.
They charged me fees, interest and other expenses each month and kept my account in reduced amounts so no payments were forwarded.

Thank you for the opportunity to address your concerns. We apologize for the frustration and inconvenience you have experienced.
In your complaint you expressed dissatisfaction over not receiving a refund upon your requested termination of your program.
We confirmed your enrollment into the program on January 26, 2023. At the time of enrollment, the Account Specialist reviewed your Enrollment Agreement with you prior to your signing. Information about the program fees can be located under the section titled "Debt Resolution Agreement" in paragraph 11. (a) "Program Fees". In reads, in part, as follows:
"Program fees are due and earned when: (i) the Company reaches a resolution on an enrolled debt with a creditor, (ii) the Client accepts and agrees to the new terms, and (iii) the first payment of the new agreed upon terms is made to the creditor."
You approved a settlement off on your Synchrony account on February 20, 2023. The first payment on that settlement was made on March 3, 2023. At the time of your requested termination, Beyond Finance had met all established criteria to earn the related fee for this settlement. After that fee was processed, there were no remaining funds in your dedicated savings account.
