      Disappointed of failed kiosks. I have attempted to use a kiosk here in my local area in order to sell a phone. Their kiosks are consistently broken down and appears they are not well maintained. Their kiosks kiosk at the ******* in ************ is the only one in a **************************** to drive that distance to drop off a phone for payment is absurd and negates any environmental benefit this might have, This is a constant problem with EcoATMs method of operating with these machines. Personally, I would like to see a competitor come into the market because it seems to me, they arent really working for the consumer. Its a good way to get used phones into someone elses hands while the owner can get something back off of their investment but if it doesnt work, why have it at all.

      This company **** they need to get rid of the machines and the employees. My phone was stolen I contacted ECO ATM TO RETRIEVE MY PHONE BUT WAS GIVEN ME A RUN AROUND. I filed a police report and filled out affidavit form but has yet received my phone that ECOATM found. This is a fraud like how are you holding my phone.

We received a call from you on 10/4 stating your device was lost, in which our support team requested the **** to be flagged in our system. On 10/4 the **** was provided and flagged in our system, you were notified that if received we would contact you via email regarding next steps to receive the device back. On 10/24 our support team attempted to reach out regarding the device received at our warehouse. We requested additional documentation for our legal team to contact the police department to help with the release of the device. Once we receive the documentation for our legal team to review for possible return. If you have any questions, please contact our support team.

      I went to a ******* on 9/30/2024 case number (c03079445) and put my phone into the kiosk. I put in the phone and received a receipt. The whole transaction was flawless and I left thinking I would receiving my payment of $7 in just a couple of days. After 10 days I called back and that is when the fun really began. If you can believe it, the customer service rep. **** (#******* said that the phone was lost and that they had to wait until the phone showed up at their factory. Now, I had to sign a waiver that they received my phone, including taking my picture and getting a thumb print and also taking a picture of the phone leaving me and going inside the machine. I just finished calling and speaking with **** again and it is 10/22. Again, they are waiting for my phone to arrive. ******* is without a doubt the worst organization I have ever dealt with in 54 years of living on this earth. I have never dealt with a company that arrogantly steals your cell phone and then refuses to pay and admitting they have your phone in one location but not in their home office which is completely on the other side of the continent. It's not the amount of money, but the fact that no one has followed up with me and I have to beg these people to give me the bar minimum of service.

      Eco atm is no good it's a scam they showed me a price for my phone then when I get to the kiosk entered the code the machine said my iPhone 15 pro max was a ****** pixel 6 pro and offered my 75 dollars!! I tried it again on a different kiosk and it called my iPhone 15 pro max a ** wing offering me 15 dollars!!!. Here is the crazy part I call the 800 number and they basically tell me they haven't updated the kiosk to take the phone I was trying to trade in I then ask why show a price and suggest that this is what will be given for the phone when you are telling me that the kiosk isn't even available to take the phone because it won't recognize it? The *** told me they are hoping to get the phone for next to nothing. So I laughed and told her thanks for at least telling the truth. Her name was ***** which I highly doubt based on the heavy accent and the typical call center background noise. Here is my frustration just be honest and say or add a disclaimer that you have no way to take newer phones A because they are to new and you aren't willing to update your kiosk to accept them and B they would cause you to give out to much money. Finally suggesting price lock falsehood then rigging the kiosk to claim it can't recognize the phone so you can offer a reduced trade in amount. I am fairly certain they will be out of business soon because it's very easy to see what the game is here. I went to 2 different kiosk 5 miles apart for nothing but lies and waste of gas.

      We located the call you placed with our team, and found that
      the confusion on pricing and accepted devices may have been the models provided
      during the call. On the call with our team on 10/12, you advised your were
      looking to sell a Galaxy Z fold 6 and a Pixel 9 Pro XL at the machine. Our team
      advised that we do take the Galaxy Fold 6 at the kiosk, but are unable to take
      the Pixel 9 Pro XL at this time.

      Devices released within the past 60 days are not eligible to
      be sold. Currently, we accept various device in many conditions. Our device
      pricing is determined by factors such as make, model, carrier, capacity, and
      condition. When looking for a quote, you can visit the “Price your Device”
      section of ecoATM.com before making your way to a kiosk.

      Our team reached out to you three times to try and gather
      additional information about your transactions to try and resolve your
      concerns, but was unable to make contact. Should you have additional questions

      My daughter's iPhone 15 was stolen and somehow made its way to ecoATM. They contacted me since I marked it as lost or stolen in the FindMy app. They asked me to give them the **** number to verify it was mine and they would send it back. I contacted ******* and they told me to not give it to them under any circumstance because they could unlock it with that. So I told that to ecoATM and that I would not give them the number. They refused to send the phone back to me without it. They said they would just recycle the phone. Well now the phone is in ***** and someone is contacting my daughter saying they can access it from there and that it is about to go on the black market.

With any device sold to our kiosk we will advise at the point of sale that we work closely with law enforcement regarding any missing device in our possession.  

      On 7/19, we contacted you regarding a lost message on your device for confirmation. On 7/26, you verified that this was your device, and we received the completed form on 7/30 for review. We asked for device information on our form and were advised by you that ******* stated to refrain from sharing details for privacy.

      On 8/11, we followed up to explain that the **** would be exclusively to validate your claim. You advised our team that despite this, you did not wish to share the ****. Additionally, you advised our team that you had already replaced the device and that you no longer needed the device. On 10/15, you informed us that your daughter had been contacted, and our team requested additional documentation regarding the ******** make this up to you, we proposed a replacement device, which was approved by you on 10/21. This device was delivered to you on 10/25. We appreciate you taking the time to provide this feedback and voice your frustration.       The last 3 times I have gone to eco ATM they were saying my item was 2 new to get money for but I got in 2019 Then I just went yesterday and B4 I went I priced my device locked in price , went down with promo code and entered it several times for 3 different phones and the machine couldn't find code It's ******** cause I get 7 or 10 less than ***********'s c*** cause I have done this several times and every time it tells me that dumb c*** It's not right.!

We understand the frustration that this has caused and would like to resolve your claim.  After further investigation of your claim, the lock-in code was entered incorrectly, which resulted in an invalid code. In the future, you can use your lock-in code by selecting I have an offer at the start of your transaction. Starting your transaction from this screen will give you the option to enter your code and will ensure that the correct amount applies to your transaction. The iPod Nano is currently recyclable only, so it doesn't qualify for a payout and our online pricing system would provide a too newerror. Our team has reached out to work with you, but have been unable to make contact. Please contact our support team for further assistance if you are still interested in recycling your devices.

      I ordered a phone on the 5th of September it said it was going to be delivered on the 9th of Sept. when the 9th came it never came when I checked the shipping details it never moved from ******** where I guess it originated from. When I checked the next day it didnt even have an eta anymore. This persisted for 3 weeks no one had answers for me. I needed a cellphone for work. I went three weeks not being able to fully work because of this inconvenience. I talked to Marvs in the live chat and he said he was going to escalate the matter to a supervisor. Never heard anything. I had to call. When I talked to representative ****** in Senior Support he was very nonchalant, rude, and said there was nothing he could do for me. I paid almost $1,000 thinking I was going to get good service and got the complete opposite. Seems as though Gazelle does not value their customers. No type of remorse for my loss wages because of their mistake. If I knew it was going to be this horrible of an experience I wouldnt have shopped with Gazelle.

      They offered me a low offer for my device. Then they claim after they received it that it was scratched which is an absolute lie and changed my already low offer to zero or offered to recycle my device. Sounds extremely shady to me, and I believe that if I would have let them "recycle" it, they would have sold it and gotten 100 percent profit. I would not recommend this company and I do not find them to be reputable.

Often, we end up finding small scratches on the device from the case, around the camera, and/or sun damage to the back of the device.While these may seem like minor issues, they do prevent us from being able to grade the device as being in perfect condition. Our warehouse received your device on 9/23 and was processed on 9/24. Reviewing your transaction we see the device had more than acceptable amount of scratches resulting in a lower offer. You declined the offer on 9/24, and the phone was shipped back to you on 9/26. If you have any questions, please contact our support team.

      I went to the nearest ecoatm, did everything right then the screen decided to get stuck and the door do not open where i can get my iPhone 11 that i was selling back. I didn't receive money or anything, called the number and the lady opened the door while i was still at *******. They are scammers and they know exactly what they are doing and to make it worse they have our information. They need to get maintenance out to fix it, stop watching people before they lose business. I'll be filing a police report if I don't have my iPhone 11 back by October 10th, 2024. Y'all need to stop playing games and do your job and pay people what their phones are worth.
