      They never fixed the machine near where I live so I had to go to another store with one and I would not detect any of the phones I have to get rid of I hope this makes the tech team get to fixing the problem with the machine in ************ at the ******* and I should get something for my time wasted on trying to go sell my phone they should give me some gas money for going to a different store and they should get there duck's in a row

      Gazelle offered me $108 for an Apple IPhone 12 that is in very good condition. When they received the phone they said they couldnt honor the original offer because my device has more than the acceptable amount of scratches. This is laughable because the phone has NO scratches, was always in a case and is in pristine condition! I even sent it in its original box. I think they are just hoping customers take their new low ball offer instead of rejecting the offer and returning the device to the customer. Such a scam and waste of time and energy! BEWARE!!

      Thank you for contacting us regarding your transaction. We try our hardest to offer the most accurate prices to our customers. Often, we end up finding small scratches on the device from the case, around the camera, and/or sun damage to the back of the device. While these may seem like minor issues, they do prevent us from being able to grade the device as being in perfect condition. Our warehouse received your device on 8/30 and was able to evaluate it the same day. Reviewing your transaction we see the device was inspected as sim locked and financed. In this occurrence this means that the carrier has put a sim lock on the device since it's not paid off. We do state on our website that we cannot take activation locked or financed devices if shipped to our warehouse. You were advised of the change to the lower offer via email. You declined the offer on 8/30, and the phone was shipped back to you on 9/3. If you have any questions, please contact our support team.

      EcoATM states an iPhone 12 max sales for around $145 that has minor damage, only a couple small un-noticable cracks on the back, and only wanted to pay $40 Really. Your buying power, sucks! and the machine didnt work at one location. I had to waste fuel on this. No thanks!

      I had a terrible trade-in experience with Gazelle. I placed a trade-in order for two iPhone 11 devices, one in good condition and the other damaged. I got two different quotes based on the damage described; one for $138, the other for $59. The good device was received against the $59 quote and was re-quoted to $85. This quote was automatically accepted so I was not given the opportunity to decline the quote and get my device back. Here's what happened when I tried to rectify their mistake:1) chatted with a service agent to explain the mistake and was given a claim code (C02989822) and told to call customer service ********* called and explained the issue again. I was told that both devices would be re-inspected and I would get new quotes.3) received another $59 quote for the damaged device; nothing for the good ********* called and explained the issue again. Got put on hold and then the call went straight to a survey.5) called again and was told that I could not get my device back. Asked to speak to a supervisor. Was given a new claim code (C02992755) and told that they would request the good device be sent back to me.6) received a new quote for $93 stating that the iPhone shows significant wear and tear.7) declined the new quote (via email) and again asked them to return my ********* received a reply (via email) asking me to decline the quote, but there was no way to do that.9) received another email response stating that my device could not be returned.At this point I had already spent about three hours talking to customer service agents and just could not devote any more time to this issue. I am appalled by the terrible customer service that I received and I feel that my device was stolen from me. At no point did I agree to sell my phone to Gazelle for $85.I would advise anyone considering using Gazelle to trade in a device to re-think and look elsewhere.

We received your device on 8/6 and finished processing on 8/7 with the inspection outcome sent via email. We received contact from you inquiring about your inspection of the device. Our team explained the carrier was different than originally selected. Our customer support team was able to confirm that the devices were mistakenly swapped during the check-in process, as they were the same make and model. On 8/10 and 8/21 we informed you of the trade-in results and offered additional compensation for any inconvenience caused. Your request to return the device was unsuccessful as it is recorded as paid. Please reach out via phone or email to our customer support team to proceed with our resolution for your claim.

      My wife's phone got stolen from her work may 18th, after I did some intense investigating I found out who stole it I immediately called ecoATM to report the **** number in case they try to sell it to them because it was an iPhone 13 locked.. I filed a police report The guy had a warrant put out for him and the police were investigating it.. then today on 8/19 I receive an email stating my device had been found!! So of course I was happy I immediately called the detective told him, then I called ecoATM to verify and they tell me it was sent by mistake my phone was never found.. so after spending all day on the phone with them I decided to call gazelle to see if maybe they had it because they sell ecoATMs phones that they buy so come to find out they also own gazelle so it's a big scam they want stolen phones because they can buy them for super cheap and then just tell you it was a mistake it wasn't found as an excuse to keep it and sell it!! this company needs to be investigated immediately I bet my life they are doing this and scamming people they have no intentions on returning a stolen phone!! I personally I'm going to speak with a detective about digging deeper into this company and I am going to hire representation as well!! They're absolute lying ,thieving ,scam artist That need to be exposed!!!

With the **** provided same day and flagged, you were notified that if received we would contact you via email regarding next steps to receive the device back. As with any device sold to our kiosk we will advise at the point of sale that we work closely with law enforcement regarding any missing device in our possession.  Before an ecoATM kiosks purchase a device, the kiosk will check the device's uniquely identifying serial numbers through the service CheckMEND.com to determine if the device has been reported lost or stolen. Additionally, all ecoATM kiosks are equipped with security cameras that allow for the live validation of each sellers identity, as well as the capture of real-time images that are reported through to law enforcement.       They dont actually accept tablets as advertised. There isnt a single one in my metro of over 1 million people that does - and possibly none in the state!

      My phone was stolen and sold to eco atm and they are giving me the run around after Ive sent in all of the proper documentation . They are hoping Id forget about the phone and let them keep. They are lying say they are waiting on a police officer from my state to call them. And theyll release it to the police department. This company is a scam and are actually looking for stolen phones. Next step is bbb and and attorney

We received a call from you on 6/16 and flagged your device by the **** provided. With any device sold to our kiosk we will advise at the point of sale that we work closely with law enforcement regarding any missing device in our possession.  Before ecoATM kiosks purchase any valuable device, the kiosk will check the device's uniquely identifying serial numbers through the service CheckMEND.com to determine if the device has been reported stolen. CheckMEND compiles records from carriers, police, the **** and more to create a comprehensive database of stolen devices on an international scale. If the device is does not pass CheckMEND's background check, the ecoATM kiosk will reject the transaction. Additionally, all ecoATM kiosks are equipped with security cameras that assist remote attendants in the Live Validation process, as well as capture security still images that may also be turned over to law enforcement upon request. We requested additional documentation for our legal team to contact the police department to help with the release of the device. We received your documentation on 7/9 and our legal team is reviewing your claim with law enforcement. Once we have an update from our legal department we will reach back out to you with an update.       It's too bad they even get 1 star. Going on 2 months now, I have been given the constant run around from this sham of a company regarding the retrieval of MY device back that was stolen recently at a concert, and sold for cash at a ******* in *******. Provided serial numbers, affidavit form, and the police report (that I had to pay for) they request before allegedly returning your device. My case has now been turned over to their "Compliance" team for further review and waiting to hear back from the Memphis PD about whatever... so in other words the report was a complete waste of my time and money. They refuse to give out the info for said team to get in touch with directly as well. They care nothing about whether a device is stolen or not, and purposely drag this out in hopes of someone getting fed up and forgetting their device. Stay away from this shady company if you can.

      THERE SHOULD BE AM OPTION FOR NO STARS!! I sent in a 13 pro *** **** and an XS *** 512 GB both in excellent, like new condition. Not only has my 13 pro *** been lost/stolen by Gazelle employees, they have given me an offer for an iPhone X, which I have NEVER OWNED IN MY LIFE. Also, the offer for my XS*** is now indicated in the offer as having 256 gb! I have been in contact with an attorney. This business is a DISGRACE! I have bought iPhones from this company in the past, never thought they would stoop to such thievery. I will be flooding the media with my horrific experience with Gazelle.com! I have ALL information (IMEI #s, etc) on both of the iPhones that I ACTUALLY mailed to them, plus pictures of both iPhones sitting in the box they were mailed in.
